I like how you travel there on the train and the cost of it. I enjoyed watching you experience the bowl of soup and letting him decide what flavor for you. Nevermind, Bangkok and Shanghai is only a few hours flight unlike me, who is living in Australia to my home country of Malaysia. A good 7.5 hours. How long is the train ride from Shanghai to Wuxi? You should look for a place where lots of expats hang out on Fri evenings or the weekends 😅
What are the locals saying about tourists (especially from Western nations) not returning to China? Have you met or seen many Russians in Shanghai?
The train from Shanghai to Wuxi is around 50 minutes :)
how do you find restaurants/ cafes to visit in china? since google maps doesn’t work there it is really hard for me to find cool spots to go… can you recommend me a map app that works in the country?
I normally use Xiao hong shu (Chinese's instagram app) so I just type in the keyword like "Shanghai" or "Wuxi" and there are many interesting locations pop up where locals are actually going. Then there are links directly to the map app then you can travel there. Hope this helps!
Sticky rice and black sesame, are one of my Chinese favorites! I like to have that when I go to Qi Bao Lu in Shanghai. Have you been to Qi Bao Lu? If you haven't check it out with an empty stomach. I was a bit sad when I watched the end of your video. I am sure a woman as beautiful and intelligent as you could find a nice boyfriend without even trying.

How long is the cable 🚠 ride ? And can you go alone in 1 cable
Around 40 minutes for the round trip and yes you can go there alone, many people were sitting alone on that day!
