My favourite author. It’s going to be hard to refer to him in the past tense and not enjoy the knowledge that he is here, experiencing the present with us. Thank you Paul Auster.

Baumgartner is a wonderful comic character who sits perfectly after such a weighty masterpiece as 4321.

I just finished the novel, and like Auster himself said, I like it a lot.
It‘s a wonderful novel about the love of his life and how to move on.
While reading you could feel the love, the sorrow, the feelings of getting older.
    Just a brilliant Auster again.

    A very poignant interview.
I felt privileged to meet Paul Auster - very briefly at a book signing in London.
He was a great writer and his books were rich with invention. Never dull. He’ll be much missed.
