My favourite author. It’s going to be hard to refer to him in the past tense and not enjoy the knowledge that he is here, experiencing the present with us. Thank you Paul Auster.

I just finished the novel, and like Auster himself said, I like it a lot.
It‘s a wonderful novel about the love of his life and how to move on.
While reading you could feel the love, the sorrow, the feelings of getting older.
    Just a brilliant Auster again.

It’s ending was a little unexpected. Can’t give spoilers here of course. After reading many of his boooks, ending came natural though.

I read the NYT when I was a young man and read everything else he wrote. His structure was dazzling to me, and I still make coded references to his work with a knowing old friend.
