      Klutch Sports and Nike. Two powerful sports associations. How can you ever lose having those connections. Plus, LeBron has Commissioner Adam Silver in his hip pocket as well. Wow! Why wouldn't he get the Olympics MVP? And LeBron is a Lakers, too. A storied franchise. He will get it again if he plays in the 2028 Olympics. He will go out as the oldest Olympian? Anything to be the GOAT at age 43 by then.

    Steph Curry deserves MVP. Steph Curry was the answer to international teams lighting up team USA in 2004. If we can remember, that USA team didn't win gold because they couldn't shoot, but the international players were raining jumpers from deep. The NBA changed after the 04 Olympics, with the NBA moving the 3 point line back to its original distance and the game starting to transition from playing inside out, to outside in. It started with Mike D'Antone and the Phoenix Suns. Then the Golden State Warriors took that concept to the next level when they drafted Clay and Steph Curry. Steph is the leader of the new NBA game. And I am glad he was able to put his shooting skills on full display on the world stage.

    To be honest, I've never heard of the Olympics MVP until yesterday. I was upset that Stephen Curry didn't get recognition. He's the one that carried USA for both the Serbia and France games. Or else they would have been Bronze instead of Gold. I agree with Stephon Marbury for being bold and coming out like that to speak up for StephonCurry. It's politics. Lebron will always get everything handed to him when he really didn't earn it in the first. The NBA is marketed around LJ. There will never be a change about that. Lebron James fans go crazy and hard over him he's not the greatest in the world. He can't even live up to Michael Jordan amd Jobe Bryant. Steph Curry, I think I'd better than Lebron James, too. Lebron has been taking things in his career that doesn't belong to him. It's crazy how everything is marketed around him. He's a good athlete, but he's not the GOAT. That's my thought.

If you are good at math, you can clearly see he did not show up those games being he scored 36 and 24 points the last 2 games yet he averaged 15 for the Olympics. Lebron averaged 14, also led team in rebounds, assists and fg%. As for padding stats, Curry played just as many minutes as Lebron in the Olympics, he just didn't capitalize in those first 4 games. @@ndegwamalone2566 You make it sound as if Bron was the best US player in the first 4 games while Steph was the best player in the last 2 games.
      That's not the case. Curry was indeed the best US player the last 2 games, but LeBron not even once was the best US player in the first 4 games. Look for yourself:
      G1 = KD
      G2 = Bam
      G3 = Ant
      G4 = N/A, but if anyone it'd be Embiid
      G5 = Steph
      G6 = Steph
      Of course the last two games were the most prestigious and the most difficult. Performance in those was more important to Team USA success than the first four games combined.

    If you want to include college and even high school, then Kareem is the most accomplished basketball player. But MJ is the most accomplished player in NBA history, hence, the G.O.A.T. We forget MJ has his jersey retired by two franchises, one he never played for!

    + 1 for being an Oscar winner
    Now championships are considered a team accomplishment but the Larry O’Brien trophy is what all great players try to play for every season. Kobe has that unique distinction of being an Oscar winner. While Cap still had one of the greatest cameos ever for a movie ✈️ .
    Even if I subtracted all of MJ’s 10 scoring champion trophies and left the ones for LeBron, Kobe, and Cap intact, MJ still ahead with 26. I can subtract his slam dunk trophies and he’s still at 24. I’m subtracting from MJ and he’s still ahead of everybody while they all played longer than he did!! Kareem never won a gold medal or All-Star MVP.
    People say MJ played in a weak decade called the 90s but what about Kareem? He won most of his MVPs in the 70s when the better talent were in the ABA. Why do we always take away from Jordan but not for anybody else? Kareem didn’t start winning again until Magic showed up. Prior to Magic, Kareem underachieved with the Lakers.

    The opening of the Olympic ceremony clearly demonstrated a disrespectful stance/distaste concerning Christianity. Stephen Curry is a Christian, who acknowledges God on his sneakers and with his completed shots by tapping his chest and pointing to the sky (I HAVE A HEART FOR GOD)! I think the Olympic committee didn't reward him MVP due to their non-religious views and their weak apologies. Either way...KD acknowledge the God in Steph and the presence of Favor was exhibited in his game.

    This makes no sense. LeBron has so many haters for no reason. LeBron averages 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks. He was shooting 66.0% from the field and 33.3.% from the three-point line. He also had 85 points and a total of 41 rebounds, 51 assists, 8 steals, and 2 blocks in the Olympic Games. Now Stephen Curry averages 14.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.0 blocks. FG% 49.2%, 3P% 46.8%, FT% 100%. Stephen Curry's total stats for the Olympics Points 89, Rebounds 19, Assists 15, Steals 4 Blocks 0. And I will say this: Stephen Curry played his heart out. Yes, he is a one-of-a-kind talent. The dude is magical, but it's crazy how people hate LeBron so much, and it's in the stats. Look at the stats; he was the most consistent. What everybody needs to be saying is we needed them both to win gold. That's what everybody should be saying
