every so often something very special comes along, it comes sometimes in a song, it comes sometimes in the people that sings a song, rarely it comes along where both are joing to sing the song so perfect, the timing so perfect, the harmony perfectly tuned that it's hard to better, this is one of the joing of song and persons that are truly PERFECT in every fashion and it will send chill bumps along one's arms and tears down their cheeks, well done and GOD BLESS ALL

Growing up as a kid my Mum adored the Kings Singers and this song! She died today and I think it may be a fitting song for her final journey! (Even if it isn't christmas now)

Am sharing with ALL on fb.. if that is ok? So important to 'spread the word' to all, when it comes to true ART. A Cappella does not always = doo-wop. lol.
Lillieannen, the last two originals, Simon Carrington and Al Hume left the group 20 years ago! The two "older' guys here are Philip Lawton (who replaced Simon Carrington in 1993 and David Hurley (who replaced Jeremy Jackman in 1989 - to become the fourth singer to sing the top Countertenor part in the group. David is now the only member of the group to have sung with any of the original line-up. But it's not about the individuals is it? The group is (I think) sounding better than ever these days.
"But it's not about the individuals is it?" Thank you! The group even reinforces this idea consistently. They're not a rabble of egotistical soloists. Their trademark is their emphasis on harmony.
