Happy Mother's Day to You Melissa, Hannah, and Kate.👍👍👍
Thank you! 🤗
I appreciate this
Hi Melissa. You are needed more often on outdoors with the Morgans.
I hear ya - if anything I will be putting videos out here
Enjoyed your video! Thanks for sharing your faith!
Tuned up a lot of Colts firearms Pythons included, they are great guns and "Real Steel" I carried many revolvers and pistols in my 44 years of LE. Never actually owned Colt revolvers but have had several Colt 1911, what can I say I like 45 acp. You have a good shooting stance, you bend your knees and lean into it. make sure you focus on the front sight past 7 to 10 yards for accurate shots and follow thru to the next shot (don't try to look at where the bullet hit every time a shot is fired.) press the trigger on the exhale which forces the diaphragm up and "Locks the upper torso" for steady shots. Hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Easter! John Toccoa
Thanks John o really like this helpful comment I’m not sure if I exhale while pulling the trigger
Thanks Happy Easter
Old school Colt Iron was born in 1860, and became legend in 1873.
If I squatted like you did, I would need a crane to get up and also need a chiropractor. Glad to see you back.
😂this made me laugh
My dad bought a 6 inch nickel plated Python in the late 70's. bought the 6 inch Trooper to go along with it. They will always stay in the family.
Nice! Yeah agree it stays in the family
Melissa, we are still here for you in NH. Hang in there girl.
Thank you
The Rolls Royce of American handguns is a very apt description.
I have an 4 inch blue Python; that I carried as my Police duty weapon. I carried it for several years. Loved it.
Nice
Happy, and BLESSED EASTER to all of the Morgans and viewers!

Glad your Back! Mike mentioned Possibly setting longer range Back stops along side the New road. 100 , 200 maybe 300YDS!
My wife just gave me a .357 stainless Colt Python 4.25” barrel as a Christmas gift. Shot it for the first time this week. Sweet gun!
Glad to see your videos again Melissa, very easy to see where Eva gets her smile.
Like i post to Mike, your family and property, is like a Norman Rockwell Movie, you get the down home, good folks warm fuzzies just being with you guys, as an extended internet family :) Eva picked up on operating the equipment very fast. Fur babies from the last couple videos look really healthy and happy.... ty for Sharing, love the Colt Python .357 mag.
Thank you so much Barry
I sure do appreciate this kind supportive comment
Great video for all the relaxing reasons ,neat family living how you enjoy living !
I would like to see what your vision is and separatly how Mike envisions updating the new range.
A pair of Colts in the arsenal , a Python and an Anaconda just always makes sense !
ENJOY !
I had a 4 inch Colt Python Elite, manufactured in 1997. At the height of the “Walking Dead” craze, I sold it for $4,500. Best deal I ever made on a firearm, since I originally paid $739.
Wow that is incredible
Hello Melissa it’s good to see you (cuz). I do well remember the old trail. That is a good gun range. I do really love that Colt python. I’ve had several 357’s. I had a S&W 686 with an 8” barrel. I now have a Ruger SP101 357. It shoots awesome. Anyway enough of that. We hope you all have a Happy Easter. I’m so glad that Jesus gave his life and rose the third day. That we all might have life! 👍❤️🙏
Me too! Thanks cuz
Happy Easter
GOOOOOOD
AFTERNOON EVERYONE!!!…HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND & Let us all remember what this holy day is all about.
Thanks for the review of the Colt Python 🐍
GOD Bless yinz
Have a day
HELLOOOO Hunter 😊
Nice to see you again Melissa ❤
Thank you
Melissa alway like to see you shootings a pistol or rifle. You are alway so careful and wearing protective ear gear. It had been a while since you last posted a video, kind of missed you. Mike never said much whether you were sick or busy, so. It’s great to see again. You said you had a birthday and an anniversary earlier this year happy belated birthday and belated anniversary. I had a birthday earlier this month on March 2nd, I had my 80th birthday. This coming June 22 my wife Linda and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. I always enjoy your videos, Mike’s, Eva’s, Kate’s, and of course those of your new grandson Bo. Happy Easter Sunday to all the Morgans and also On Track With The Merkleys, God Bless You All.
Happy 80th birthday Luis and happy 50th anniversary to you and Linda that is exciting
I used a colt p ython 357 6 in barrel for my service/duty weapon for 25 years ! I gave it to my oldest t grandson who was offered a ton of money but refused 😊
Beautiful Revolver Melissa and some fine shooting. Thanks for the early spring tour of the trails. We do not have much terrain contour here in low country SC so I enjoy seeing the hills and valleys. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for this comment I appreciate the reminder of how everyone has different soils as well as different weather as well as plains and mountains or hills like here 😁
"ALWAYS" good to see you Melissa, just don't see enough of you. Wishful thinking.
Thank you 😊
Colt Python collectors pistol. Had one years ago gone up in value many times. I thought the sound was the Golden boy on wall.
Glad to have you back Melissa. I have a Blued 6” Python from 1976. I got it from a friend and today I regret that I didn’t get the box for it. It’s still in like new condition and I haven’t shot it in years. Guess I’ll have to get it out soon
Hearing about Stanley and Ruger made me realize how long I've been watching your (Outdoors with the Morgans) channel......Have a blessed and safe Easter! I don't have a Python anymore, but I do have the bigger brother Anaconda and love it. The trigger design of the latest generation Colts has been redesigned to include leaf type springs, they have a noticeably better trigger (at least the Anaconda does) Congrats she's a beauty and will be an heirloom to pass along.
Thanks for being here Happy Easter
Another great video Melissa. Colt Python is on my want list 🤠
Thank you
I guess it was on mikes want list too
Hi Melissa, I don't watch the "Walking Dead" either. Glad to see your still making videos. Love them.
While not a Colt personal story, I can tell about a double barrel .410 shotgun.
My grandfather worked for the railroad company. After the tracks were down, all the workers were let go. They asked my grandfather to stick around for a few minutes. They had no extra money to give him, so they asked if he would like to have this old .410 double. He thought that was FINE. My dad told me, his father used to put food on the table with that gun, keeping them alive during the depression. As my dad was growing up, he would always ask his dad for that .410 Time and time again he never got the gun for a birthday or christmas present. When dad was much older and after serving in the military, he saw his father driving down main street. Stopping him to chat, dad noticed the .410 in the back seat. He said your not going hunting are you? Hunting season is closed. Grandfather said, Not going hunting, going to the pawn shop to pawn this old gun. Dad said how much do you think you can get for it? Grandfather said about $40 dollars. My dad handed him two twenties and said It's my gun now! As I was growing up I heard this story many times, dad would always say, when you are 16 this gun is yours. And on my 16th it WAS. Even at the tender age of 16, I thought if I ever have a son, I know what to get him for his 16th birthday. Now I have a son, but unfortunately, before he was born, the gun was stolen. I've been to every pawn shop and gun store in the county. Never did find grandfathers gun. I did buy a very similar .410 double in Atlanta, Ga. Not the same, but close. 💛
Oh wow that is an incredible story! So very sorry it was stolen
Well now your son will get the hun you bought to replace your grandfathers and he can tell the same story and then add my dad went a purchased a new one to give me since the one of my great grandfathers was stolen.
Thanks for sharing
Hi Melissa. Nice gun! Mike has great taste in weapons. I have the Ruger GP100 .357 mag with a 4" barrel. I purchased it in 1986 to carry as an off-duty firearm. I have since switched to a Sig Sauer P226 .40 semi-auto, but there is nothing like shooting a .357 magnum. Thery are fantastic firearms. Happy shooting!
I love Stanley's Corner.!! ❤️ miss our fur babies. Thanks for sharing.!! I lost my Dad last year, my 2 dog kids have really helped me.
Oh my I’m sorry for the passing of your dad
Fur kids help in so many ways
Happy Easter to MOTL & OWTM - I had a Python, King Cobra and still have an Anaconda, all were/are 6" SS, Love them all, wish I never sold the Python and King Cobra. Suggestion for you, when you shoot a Double Action revolver in Single Action, hammer back with your 'off hand' as if you do it with your 'main grip hand', you are repositioning your grip every time you hammer back. This is what I was taught 35+ years ago. I think all the Snakes made were Diamondback, Boa, Viper, Cobra and the 3 above. Enjoy it and be safe.
Thank you so much and yes you give great suggestion
I was doing that
Thank you I appreciate the helpful tips
Happy Easter
And nice collection to your snake series
Sadly I lost all my firearms in a tragic boating accident, but I carried a Smith & Wesson model 442 2” j-frame revolver as my back up gun during my police career. I’m more of a semi-auto pistol guy myself.
I can understand
I too had a serious boating accident after shooting this video
@@Morgansunleashed Allways wonder Why, people & their "pea-shooters" always have "tradject boating accedents"....now l know.
LOL! All my officers went fishing one day and the boat sunk and the all lost their guns, Dang it was a shame!!!!
Always great to see you. Glad you're back
Thank you
Beautiful revolver, and nice shooting. I personally have many firearms, but my revolvers are a Smith & Wesson and a Ruger. I just prefer the cylinder lock and the way they feel. My S&W is a 686 with a 7 round cylinder. You can still have one empty cylinder for safety and six rounds for shooting.
Happy Easter to you Melissa and family. Thanks for the stretching tips ... I will need add those to my routine. It's so nice that you can shoot on your own property. I hope you all enjoyed the Easter Weekend .. :)
Thank you and Happy Easter
I do enjoy stretching and shooting
Maybe that should be my next series
Hello Melissa, so glad to see you on Morgans Off Leash
Thank you
Sooooo good to see you, Melissa!!! Happy Easter to the Morgans❤✝️!

Happy Easter
Have an original Python it is 40 plus old and still shoots great and very accurate!
Nice! Thanks
Jessie James Morgan is in the house!! Good job!!
Nice gun too!!
Thank you
I like that sounds good
44 years ago my wife bought me a 6in blued python as a wedding present still like new. I shoot it at 50 and 100 yards great gun‼️
Wow that is a very nice wedding gift!
Melissa: seeing the Colt Python in your hands was fun! My pea-shooter is the Ruger Super Blackhawk stainless in .44 magnum. It also is a large frame revolver and is similarly fun to shoot. The woods takes notice when it barks 😆
Happy Resurrection Day!
Thank you and Happy resurrection day
It' All about the "Resurection-Day"...We would be "LOST" Without it!!!!
Yeah it's been a while. Hope Easter was as Chocolate..! This outdoor pilate is better than the gym. That Colt was used by Dirty Harry.!! Good luck on the project. Cheers from Australia.
I’m losing sensation in my limbs just watching you do that!😂
Ha ha thank you this made me laugh
Good to see you back with another video, Melissa! I was worried that Mike's new road would destroy the little gun range. Glad that you have plans to keep it and improve it!
Me too
I have lots of plans - just not sure they get approved
He is risen indeed
O and Happy Easter to the Morgans hope you all have a blessed day 🙏.
Happy Easter
@@Morgansunleashed thank you 😊

Thank you
Melissa I knew it was a revolver but like you never watched the walking dead so I wasn't sure which one it could be! Awesome video girl 💖👍💖
Ha good point - do you watch the walking dead?
Thanks
Happy Easter to you and the family. The 'Python' has always been one of my all time favourite revolvers, excellent info and demonstration, thanks Melissa.
Thank you
I have a 1987 6 inch blue python. I have had many offers but will not sell it. I love that gun.
It really is a nice investment
Happy Easter Melissa. That is a very pretty revolver. It will serve you well.

😊
I just finished building a steel target course on my property. I shoot a Springfield 1911 and a Sig P320.
Do much fun to be able to shoot in your own backyard.
Thanks for sharing the Easter message!!
Truth!
Had one inherited from dad. Step son stole it to bankroll his drug sales. Loved the pistol. Very accurate. Shot a prairie dog at 200+ yrds. Practicing long-range shooting. Loved it.
Oh wow that hurts
Thank you Melissa for the great video and thank you for sharing your Christian faith and the true meaning of why we celebrate Easter! May God’s blessings be with you and your wonderful family. And yeah beautiful Colt python! 😉
Thank you Kenneth
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!... Melissa, YOU NEED A TREE FORT FOR THE KIDS!
Happy Easter and yes I agree
Good to see you again Melissa, never had a colt but did have a Ruger Blackhawk 357 revolver, your right, hardly any recoil
Thank you
I had a Blackhawk in 30 carbine, nice hand cannon.
I have my Dad’s Nickel S&W model 12 357 mag. 4in. It always remain in the family
Nice!
That’s a nice gun
Good video and very informative , if more people would stretch and warm up there would be less injuries.
❤😂🎉😅😊 glad to see you back!!!
Thank you
I was spot on in my comment on Outdoors with the Morgan’s 😂! I knew that sound I’d know that sound anywhere I’ve got some old school iron myself in 44 mag & 357 Mag. 😁👍🏼
Oh Nice!
Those are nice couple of guns
My husband owned many pistols, my favorite being the colt frontier scout. When we were dating, he often suggested going to the woods to shoot. I always thought he was being nice, because he knew I loved shooting the pistols. Took me a while to realize he was just trying to get me into the woods! DUH!! 😂😂😂
Oh fun! It is fun to shoot and good memories
I always preferred the S & W revolver over the Colt when I was carrying back in the 60's and 70's while working at Brinks Armored Car Company. When I went into the Coast Guard in the 70's and 80's I fell in love with the Colt 1911 .45 but we eventually transitioned to the 9mm, not my favorite pistol. . My personal pistol is a WW1 Luger. It is a sweet pistol but not as accurate as the .45 due to the primitive sights. I enjoyed your video Melissa It is good to see you again
Thank you so much Jim
As a Police Firearms Instructor for my department I also worked as the precinct station indoor rangemaster. Two officers I worked with carried Pythons. I, a Smith and Wesson shooter, would tease them about how their weapons were busted, the cylinder turned the wrong way…. They would utter pearls of wisdom and question my heritage and we’d have a good laugh.. I preferred the S&W Mod 28 but also carried a Colt M1911-A off duty.
I enjoyed your video showing where Stanley and Ruger rest. My Joe, also a Golden, is 14 years old. He has hip dysplasia and cancer. When he leaves us he will be cremated and be with us always.
Thank you and Mike for your videos. My wife and never miss one. Hope your family had a joyous Easter…
Thank you so kindly for watching and this kind comment
It is fun for me to read about the revolvers you and your fellow officers carry
Thanks for sharing
And your sweet Golden Joe - it makes me pause to think he is 14 😇
Happy Easter Morgan Family, good to see you back on RUclips.
Thank you Happy Easter
As always, it’s great to see another video! Happy Easter to you, Mike and the kids.
AUGY! How are you?
Happy Easter
13:56 Good choice, Mellisa, but I'd vote for a Manhurin. Keep up the great work.
Thank you
Take some slabs from the mill to the range and attach them to posts, flat side facing the firing line. It makes a good, renewable backstop for pinning paper targets. Hi Hunter!!
Thank you
Happy Easter Melissa, and all of your loved ones too!
Thank you Happy Easter
Glad to see you back shooting, good video
Thank you so much!
Nice job, you handled that large pew pew real good, real good!! 😂👍🏻
Thank you
Thanks for using the platform to share your faith!🙏
Thank you Happy Easter
I love the python they are a great gun!. I don't have a python but I have several S&W pistols 357, 41, 44, and a Dan Wesson 357 w/all the barrels.
A lot of people like the polymer frames, all my pistols are steel&wood along with all my long guns with the exception of two.
HAPPY EASTER!.
Thank you - happy Easter
Thank you Melissa. I knew it was a Colt Python. Happy Easter.
Nice - happy Easter
@@Morgansunleashed Thank you.
My Grandson has a Henry Golden Boy 22 LR and he loves it !!
Mike, you need to keep the old trail in shape. I forgot it ran past Stanley's Corner.
Yes we need to keep a lil trail to Stanley’s corner

Hej ya'll. Great stuff, hands down. To me, personally, it feels like that's how the life should be all along. Yeah, and CP is a cool item - perhaps not for everyday carry but cool regardless. Thanks and Bless you.
Have a blessed Easter.

Thank you and yes see you here again next video
I was right on mikes video I got the fact it was revolved not a colt python. You’re such a classy, pretty lady Melissa.
Good guess! Thank you so kindly
I'm taking pain meds right now just watching you. I'm 78 now but when I was around your age I practiced what you are doing and I think it helped keep me going. Unfortunately Rheumatoid got me 18 years ago and put an end to it. But, I still shoot and what you got there is the best bar none revolver ever made, good luck with it.
Thank you and I am sorry you are dealing with rheumatoid
Thanks for watching
Great seeing you again Melissa...Happy Easter!!! Beauty of a gun...I have little brother of the Python, TROOPER MK III .357 in Nickel since 1975.
