hey sis! let's chat. today's question: what is one thing you are currently waiting on God for and how can we be praying for you as you wait? for me: i am waiting on a promise from God. it's a very particular promise He gave me almost a year ago and at the time, it didn't mean much but SIS when I tell you this promise alone has given me renewed strength in the darkest of day -- PHEW. i am patiently waiting for it to come pass and some days are easier than others if i am honest. I would really love prayers for His perfect peace and to TRULY be intertwined with Him as I do wait ♥
God gave me a promise exactly a year ago. Your testimony is exactly like mine. The promise and the six months leading up to it, BLEW my MIND. God spoke to me consistently for six months straight confirming in undeniable signs that the thing I feel is for me, is in fact mine. The signs were so out of this world that it made me begin to think I was going crazy. I even walked away twice and tried to do something else and God reeled me back giving me the assurance that I was supposed to keep my focus on this thing and surrender and wait! Right now it’s radio silence! It looks like this thing isn’t happening. And I would be lying if I said that some days I don’t doubt. I question whether I actually heard God. But your messages in particular regarding surrendering and the timing of God have been a life saver! Thank you for your obedience in doing these videos. You have helped me in ways you would never know!! 💙

Very very timely! I'm waiting for my husband and fighting the lies of the enemy that I won't be able to bear children/that childbearing will be traumatic and difficult. I'm also just desperately desiring to hear the LORD more clearly and have been praying for this over the past few weeks. Praying for you, sis! If it's fear that you're experiencing, it did NOT come from God (2 Timothy 1:7). So, who or where did it come from? Do not come into agreement with it. Take authority over it and trust God! If He can give a baby to Sarah, He can to you, sis, if that is His best for you and is according to His purpose for your life. Phew! I am waiting on the Lord for a number of things. It’s coming up on 10th year anniversary when I lost my husband while pregnant with our first child. It’s been God and us . Some days are easier some days I’m weary and truly believe the Lord renews my strength. I continue to pray for peace that surpasses all understanding.

Thanks for this. I’ve been waiting on a child. My husband and I have been going through infertility for the past 3 years. It’s been a lot of tears shed, a lot of doctors appointments/procedures and a lot of money spent. I feel so defeated especially since it’s so easy for everyone else to have kids.

I’m suffering from severe anxiety and waiting on The Lord to remove it, it’s crippling me day in and day out. Praying He gives me the strength to endure it as it comes and goes all day long but ultimately wanting it removed completely 😢
Sorry to hear about your struggle. I have to work through as well. Know that, 1. You’re not alone; 2. The Lord is always necessarily going to remove it. Sometime He will strengthen you THROUGH an issue. I know that is HARD to hear. Take courage sis, even in the Bible, in 1 Cor 12:9, the apostle Paul talks about a “thorn in his flesh” that he prayed for God to remove but ultimately God told him that His Grace is enough and His power is made perfect in weakness. God gives us the breath of life from the very beginning. Remember that. Breathing practices for anxiety are a literal gift from God. Box breathing has helped me to slow down and remember scripture before panicking
I'm waiting for my Godly spouse. But, in the meantime, I am thriving in my purpose and saying yes to the callings God has for me today! I love how you mentioned not making it "transactional" where if I do x, then God must do y. I tell people that it's often the expectations that cause our frustration with the wait, meaning we decide how long it should last, how it should happen, when it should happen, how glorious it would look when it does happen or whatever else our day dreams cook up. Releasing my expectations on the timing, although hard, has blessed me! I felt the burden lift off of me as I replaced that expectation with "choosing to trust God." He has never failed me and I know He's already on the prayer request. He doesn't need me to check His work or my watch lol. And He gives me grace when I fall back into this. I ask myself what He wants me to do in the meantime and I get to the plow! Operating in my purpose is where I find peace and joy. I pray the same for anyone else waiting on God.
This resonated with me! I am waiting on marriage (I’m currently in a fairly new, happy & healthy relationship and am becoming eager to take the next step 👀) and possibly a baby as well (if it’s in God’s will!) and this was a good reminder to stop stressing about the timing and trying to hurry into it 😣 I’ve been more intentional with asking the Lord to help me understand my assignment and the work I need to do in the meantime instead of just asking for more patience (be careful what you wish for 😅). I have been so hurt and disappointed in past relationships so I am trying very hard to work on trusting the Lord and his divine timing. I’m in my late 30s, never married or engaged and no kids so sometimes it gets hard, especially when you see everyone else getting what you want.. I am still grateful for what I do have and will continue to praise Him and work on myself. Thank you for this reminder 🙏🏽

I am waiting to finally see myself as God sees me, not constantly holding my breath out of fear of making a mistake or not measuring up. Not feeling inadequate and unworthy of blessings and then worried that I will lose the blessings once they have been given. I want peace that transcends understanding and boldness to live unapologetically. These are prayers that I often doubt will be answered. But God is good and intentional. If these struggles keep me at the cross in a state of humility and hunger for Him, there may be a bigger purpose that these temporary afflictions serve that I haven't seen yet. So, I will take heart that my strength is being renewed and trust in his timing. (Sorry for the verbosity; it is my first time making a comment, but your message really spoke to me. The timing of this podcast is on time. I would love to have a marriage that thrives and not just exist. My parents weren't married but his were. Neither one of us knows what a thriving marriage looks like behind closed doors. He doesn't know what it looks like in any form. I only know what it appears on the outside. I have been praying for a LONG TIME(at least 20 years). There have been many times I wanted to thrown in the towel but the one thing I've prayed is not my will but God's will be done in my life as well as our marriage.

As others have stated, currently unemployed (1 yr) after leaving a toxic manager. I thought I would have found another job by now and the amount of resumes I’ve sent out this year are too many to count. Everyday it is the same thing: rejection after rejection. I am prayed out, weary and just tired of hoping that something will change. After viewing this video, I realize that my heart’s posture has not been in the right place. I’m starting anew today and will pray that this time, I will do better in my waiting/wilderness season.
I’ve been waiting on the Lord for a job. I’ve been unemployed for just over a year. I’ve been frustrated and stressed but this video reminded me that he has allowed me to maintain during this period of unemployment. The job rejection and ghosting is a lot to bear, but I’ve done temp work and I’ve also received back pay for previous projects. Im grateful to God to allow me to still be here so I can continue to look work, but I admit. I am growing weary. This was a great video that was right on time for me.

I've been unemployed for almost 2 years. I feel like I'm going crazy. No job opportunity in sight. Just debt piling up. I'm confused at what God wants me to do right now because I'm not getting any type of job. I keep having major financial crises every few months throughout my life through family and career. I've probably prayed to God thousands of times for financial stability during my lifetime. Ah...I'm so tired. It has caused so much trauma that I've developed maladaptive daydreaming. My dream was to help people get out of poverty, but I can't even do that. I have to ask other people for help instead.

This could be God setting you up to be a testimony to the same people you are trying to help. It's not. Some people (i.e. me) are literally just trying to make it through the day......hour by hour......& not give up before God is ready. 😢
I am currently waiting on my baby boy to make his arrival. I waited 11 years to even become pregnant. I did end up starting IVF almost 5 years ago, with our 4th transfer finally being successful. And I can say I was weary and exhausted prior to our 4th transfer. And actually found myself for the first time giving the struggle over to God and found myself in a season of seclusion away from social media and focusing more on the Bible and in his word. I will be 43 the end of this month and know this was all in God’s perfect timing.

I’m a new Christian for almost a year now , after my 4th child I went through PPD, I believe that God healed me but sometimes I feel weird and I don’t know how to explain it but I don’t want to ever feel like I did before. I just want to live normal again, serve God , do what he wants me to do and what he created me for and want God to fully heal my mind and body.
I heard God tell me to move about a year ago- travel but I have been waiting for the right opportunity and it’s scary to wait not knowing where you’re going next or when it’s gonna come to pass plus I am waiting for my husband to come. All my life I have been anxious and honestly; all the people around me failed to make me feel safe. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, all I want is peace that is beyond me. I don't wish to not be anxious about anything, I want peace and to know what real love feels like. I don't have to ask for it but I want to be given without expectations, because when I love people I do expect anything from them I love and I need to experience it without any strings attached and I know I can only find that love in God. I am waiting on god to walk in the healing he has for me. I had a bike accident where someone hit me from behind and I suffered brain hemorrhage which I am still recovering from 16 months later which is normal n even though it can sometimes be more challenging I trust god. I am also waiting for healing in multiple other areas which most are related to the accident. (Scalp dermatitis, nerve damage, shoulder tendon injury etc).I’d appreciate any prayers towards healing as I know I am healed and will walk in it fully in gods timing but I rely on him for continual patience, strength and faith in this area among others. This prophetic word is been fulfilled in my life...I have been in a night fast for 7 Months non stop, and full fast on weekends, God waking me 3 to 4 times between 12 Midnight and 6Am to pray, and without fail...some days I will be so exhausted but, the minutes I start praying my strength get renewed....I GLORIFY GOD FOR HIS PROMISES ON HIS WORD....😊
I have a few things, but to sum it all up direction. I am waiting on God for direction. I need him to tell me what he wants me to do in life. I need a direction in all areas. I don’t know if what I am doing is what I am suppose to be doing. I’m depended on by family and idk if how I’m helping/supporting is correct or if I should be doing better. If I’m suppose to stay in my current job and business and if I should continue to stay in my relationship. I have been praying for a while now for direction. However in the meanwhile he has been making sure things are taken care of. I usually take that as “keep waiting”, so I wait. I’m grateful for what he has done and kept from happening as well. A very timely! In this season, i notice what i took for granted in the past: When i go in his presence, i never come out the same. He never invalidates my feelings and fatigue but He fixes it, reminds me of his word and put a praise in my mouth. He is a faithful good father. I was so hearvy today that i told God that i feel tired in this warfare. I won’t lower my expectation concerning what He told but i am tired of casting down generational patterns and talking about his specific promises all the Time. It exhausted. I need a shelter, a father to whom i can show my fatigue and just contemplate, i just wanna talk about food for my soul, ground for my life. I left that moment with peace, strength and joy. I could even do meaningful tasks after. Earlier i was just crushed by the whole thing to a point that i delayed our moment together even though i knew i needed that. Thank you Jesus, thank you Melody
I’m waiting for strength and an increase in my faith in trusting God. I received some test results today and it’s weighing on my heart and mind as to what may be wrong. This year has been filled with some health issues and I’m weary about the possibilities. I’m praying that I put my trust in God and not my own understanding.
Hope in my love. I've given up some hope--not completely hopeless, but after 2 bad breakups, I'd like to experience a healthy relationship where we both the man and I can encourage one another and grow together. I've just seen this year, God help me go back to school in August after a lot of shame and pain for years, so I know he can do it. He's given me glimpses already, but I'd like some more. for me: i am waiting on a promise from God. it's a very particular promise He gave me almost a year ago and at the time, it didn't mean much but SIS when I tell you this promise alone has given me renewed strength in the darkest of day -- PHEW. i am patiently waiting for it to come pass and some days are easier than others if i am honest. I would really love prayers for His perfect peace and to TRULY be intertwined with Him as I do wait ♥
God gave me a promise exactly a year ago. Your testimony is exactly like mine. The promise and the six months leading up to it, BLEW my MIND. God spoke to me consistently for six months straight confirming in undeniable signs that the thing I feel is for me, is in fact mine. The signs were so out of this world that it made me begin to think I was going crazy. I even walked away twice and tried to do something else and God reeled me back giving me the assurance that I was supposed to keep my focus on this thing and surrender and wait! Right now it’s radio silence! It looks like this thing isn’t happening. And I would be lying if I said that some days I don’t doubt. I question whether I actually heard God.
But your messages in particular regarding surrendering and the timing of God have been a life saver! Thank you for your obedience in doing these videos. You have helped me in ways you would never know!! 💙

Sorry to hear about your struggle. I have to work through as well. Know that, 1. You’re not alone; 2. The Lord is always necessarily going to remove it. Sometime He will strengthen you THROUGH an issue. I know that is HARD to hear. Take courage sis, even in the Bible, in 1 Cor 12:9, the apostle Paul talks about a “thorn in his flesh” that he prayed for God to remove but ultimately God told him that His Grace is enough and His power is made perfect in weakness. I'm waiting for my Godly spouse. But, in the meantime, I am thriving in my purpose and saying yes to the callings God has for me today! I love how you mentioned not making it "transactional" where if I do x, then God must do y. I tell people that it's often the expectations that cause our frustration with the wait, meaning we decide how long it should last, how it should happen, when it should happen, how glorious it would look when it does happen or whatever else our day dreams cook up. Releasing my expectations on the timing, although hard, has blessed me! I felt the burden lift off of me as I replaced that expectation with "choosing to trust God." He has never failed me and I know He's already on the prayer request. He doesn't need me to check His work or my watch lol. And He gives me grace when I fall back into this. I ask myself what He wants me to do in the meantime and I get to the plow! Operating in my purpose is where I find peace and joy. I pray the same for anyone else waiting on God.

I am waiting on marriage (I’m currently in a fairly new, happy & healthy relationship and am becoming eager to take the next step 👀) and possibly a baby as well (if it’s in God’s will!) and this was a good reminder to stop stressing about the timing and trying to hurry into it 😣 I’ve been more intentional with asking the Lord to help me understand my assignment and the work I need to do in the meantime instead of just asking for more patience (be careful what you wish for 😅). I have been so hurt and disappointed in past relationships so I am trying very hard to work on trusting the Lord and his divine timing. I’m in my late 30s, never married or engaged and no kids so sometimes it gets hard, especially when you see everyone else getting what you want.. I am still grateful for what I do have and will continue to praise Him and work on myself. Thank you for this reminder 🙏🏽

I am waiting to finally see myself as God sees me, not constantly holding my breath out of fear of making a mistake or not measuring up. Not feeling inadequate and unworthy of blessings and then worried that I will lose the blessings once they have been given. I want peace that transcends understanding and boldness to live unapologetically. These are prayers that I often doubt will be answered. But God is good and intentional. If these struggles keep me at the cross in a state of humility and hunger for Him, there may be a bigger purpose that these temporary afflictions serve that I haven't seen yet. The timing of this podcast is on time. I would love to have a marriage that thrives and not just exist. My parents weren't married but his were. Neither one of us knows what a thriving marriage looks like behind closed doors. He doesn't know what it looks like in any form. I only know what it appears on the outside. I have been praying for a LONG TIME(at least 20 years). There have been many times I wanted to thrown in the towel but the one thing I've prayed is not my will but God's will be done in my life as well as our marriage.

As others have stated, currently unemployed (1 yr) after leaving a toxic manager. I thought I would have found another job by now and the amount of resumes I’ve sent out this year are too many to count. Everyday it is the same thing: rejection after rejection. I am prayed out, weary and just tired of hoping that something will change. After viewing this video, I realize that my heart’s posture has not been in the right place. I’m starting anew today and will pray that this time, I will do better in my waiting/wilderness season.

I've been unemployed for almost 2 years. I feel like I'm going crazy. No job opportunity in sight. Just debt piling up. I'm confused at what God wants me to do right now because I'm not getting any type of job. I keep having major financial crises every few months throughout my life through family and career. I am currently waiting on my baby boy to make his arrival. I waited 11 years to even become pregnant. I did end up starting IVF almost 5 years ago, with our 4th transfer finally being successful. And I can say I was weary and exhausted prior to our 4th transfer. And actually found myself for the first time giving the struggle over to God and found myself in a season of seclusion away from social media and focusing more on the Bible and in his word. I will be 43 the end of this month and know this was all in God’s perfect timing.

I’m a new Christian for almost a year now , after my 4th child I went through PPD, I believe that God healed me but sometimes I feel weird and I don’t know how to explain it but I don’t want to ever feel like I did before. I'm waiting on God for healing my finances, health and family bonding, and faith healing because I realize that when I lose focus with God become weary to the point that depression and anxiety kicks end.i don't like feeling that way. At 2 am in the morning this was for me. Thank you 🙏🏽🙌🏽
I'm waiting on favor in every area of my life right now. I prayer the lord renews my strength everyday and keep giving me hope in my situation. I am waiting on god to walk in the healing he has for me. I had a bike accident where someone hit me from behind and I suffered brain hemorrhage which I am still recovering from 16 months later which is normal n even though it can sometimes be more challenging I trust god. I am also waiting for healing in multiple other areas which most are related to the accident. (Scalp dermatitis, nerve damage, shoulder tendon injury etc).I’d appreciate any prayers towards healing as I know I am healed and will walk in it fully in gods timing but I rely on him for continual patience, strength and faith in this area among others. God is so good ✝️🙌

This prophetic word is been fulfilled in my life...I have been in a night fast for 7 Months non stop, and full fast on weekends, God waking me 3 to 4 times between 12 Midnight and 6Am to pray, and without fail...some days I will be so exhausted but, the minutes I start praying my strength get renewed....I GLORIFY GOD FOR HIS PROMISES ON HIS WORD....😊
I have a few things, but to sum it all up direction. I am waiting on God for direction. I need him to tell me what he wants me to do in life. I need a direction in all areas. I don’t know if what I am doing is what I am suppose to be doing. I’m depended on by family and idk if how I’m helping/supporting is correct or if I should be doing better. If I’m suppose to stay in my current job and business and if I should continue to stay in my relationship. I have been praying for a while now for direction. However in the meanwhile he has been making sure things are taken care of. I usually take that as “keep waiting”, so I wait. I’m grateful for what he has done and kept from happening as well. A very timely! In this season, i notice what i took for granted in the past: When i go in his presence, i never come out the same. He never invalidates my feelings and fatigue but He fixes it, reminds me of his word and put a praise in my mouth. He is a faithful good father. I was so hearvy today that i told God that i feel tired in this warfare. I won’t lower my expectation concerning what He told but i am tired of casting down generational patterns and talking about his specific promises all the Time. It exhausted. I need a shelter, a father to whom i can show my fatigue and just contemplate, i just wanna talk about food for my soul, ground for my life. I left that moment with peace, strength and joy. I could even do meaningful tasks after. Earlier i was just crushed by the whole thing to a point that i delayed our moment together even though i knew i needed that.

I’m waiting for strength and an increase in my faith in trusting God. I received some test results today and it’s weighing on my heart and mind as to what may be wrong. This year has been filled with some health issues and I’m weary about the possibilities. I’m praying that I put my trust in God and not my own understanding.
Hope in my love. I've given up some hope--not completely hopeless, but after 2 bad breakups, I'd like to experience a healthy relationship where we both the man and I can encourage one another and grow together. I've just seen this year, God help me go back to school in August after a lot of shame and pain for years, so I know he can do it. He's given me glimpses already, but I'd like some more. I feel like I've gotten so content with waiting and being where I am, I don't really know anything else. Also Melody, your videos are always so timely. May God continue to bless you :)

Hi Melody! Thank you for this wonderful video. In this season, I am waiting for a financial breakthrough. God pulled me out of a job about 4-5 months ago. It was not for nothing, because the things He's taught me through this unemployment season are worth more than gold! He has also provided in unexpected ways. Nonetheless, I am ready to experience a new thing financially.
Another thing I'm waiting for is to relocate to another country. May I see His works in my life!
