    We do a lot of work in nano-crystallization of pharmaceutical drug particles and pigment particles for printing inks. Or results are generally comparable with what can be achieved with wet media mills, and exceed those obtained with other technologies. Throughputs strongly depend on the nature of the particles, initial and final sizes, etc. Anywhere from several to several hundreds L/hour can be expected.     In terms of micronizing materials (minerals such as calcium carbonates, micas, greensand etc) how does this compare against other modern grinding technologies such as bead mills, jet mills, vibratory mills etc? What kind of throughputs can be expected? Also what initial particle size can be handled - can we go from 1000 micron down to 1 micron avg? How saturated can the slurry be? I am in the grinding business and am interested in ultrafine grinding applications for this type of equipment.
