Since supergirl came out, CW’s DC shows have been nothing bu feminist and LGBTQ+ propaganda, and I do mean propaganda. It’s one thing for those aspects of a character to affect the storyline and decision making for the sake of a narrative, it’s another for it to just be crammed into every aspect of a show.

WTF? Batman was never about "being powerful." Batman was about a man harnessing his fears and pain in order to turn them against criminals. He doesn't have superpowers and he wins against villains like Bane not because he's more powerful, but because he is driven, tenacious, and intelligent. He is the least powerful member of the Justice League, and frequently must fight through injuries, such as in The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark Knight Returns. He doesn't wear the suit for the sake of himself or his ego, but because he is compelled to defend the innocent and protect others from meeting the same fate as his parents. This line of dialogue shows how little the writers of this show understand the essence of Batman.
I'm curious as to how much training or combat experience she actually has. Or does she just get stronger by wearing the suit?
One of my favorite lines came from Dallas, back in the 80's.

You can't "empower" someone. You can give them authority, but that's not the same having power because they're still beholden to the person who gave then authority. It's like war stories about young lieutenants who've never been in combat. They have authority, but don't really have the power to command their men effectively. Typically they learn that from the sergeant or a mentor figure experienced officer.

You know a Batman who relied on his suit and was compelling? Batman Beyond's Terry McGinnis. He relied on Bruce Wayne and the suit at first. He did ask himself if it was the suit that made himself Batman or not. Terry eventually had to fight an AI possessing his suit and won using only an old school Bat Utility Belt and a mask.

Acting like the main actor in this show can’t be straight is discriminatory. Just cast a good actress regardless of orientation and let the character be gay. If it turns out the actress is gay, that’s great and I’m fine with that. Sexual orientation doesn’t have to be intrinsic to a character’s concept.

honestly, just being frank here, shes really not a bad actress. she killed orange is the new black, did an awesome job with john wick, and is overall a B+ - A- actor. most of the times she's cast as the gay diversity hire which is a bit of a disservice, but it aint as bad as it seems.

I don’t know if you remember it but when you said about canceled shows, it reminded me of a sci fi show I loved growing up. Flash forward. Yeh it was a bit far fetched but it was complex and fascinating and there was so much cliffhanger left at the end of the only season I can’t bring myself to rewatch it. So sad.

A character can be gay, green, a eunuch or any other descriptor you want to attach to them, but it's a tertiary, flavorful element to their character's narrative - not its main representation. If the most interesting thing that can be said about you is your sexuality or your gender, you are not interesting and no one wants a story about you. No one can root for you like that. It's the equivalent of introducing my friend as 'Gay Mark' instead of 'Mark' who just happens to be gay.

I can't look at this Batwoman with that ridiculous wig on without busting out laughing every time I see her. She looks so goofy and non-threatening that it completely removes any intimidation factors for her. You know, the very thing the Bat-heroes rely on to fight crime.

This is a core issue with a lot of U.S. television. Lot of televising what characters are thinking by saying rather than showing. It's ESPECIALLY becoming problematic in diversity driven shows. I feel like it's a slap in the face to its viewers intelligence.
It seems a common trait. I've frequently seen people telling us they're really happy, excited, sad, etc all while looking very emotionless and almost afraid to show a facial expression in case it causes a wrinkle. It's the Katdashian school of emotive expression. Who needs method acting?
It's not just the states dude. Theres a reason I haven't watched the Doctor in too damn long.
Also, think logically... The same writers work for multiple shows, leave other shows to write for a new show, get fired then get put on another show. Try looking up the shows on imdb and watch how many other shitty shows have similar writers
