Thank you for pointing out the software's current limiter. I thought I had a bad connection and couldn't figure out why the leds were so dim. I have a 500w (converted PC) power supply so was able to set the wled setting considerably higher than 850mA. Problem solved!

I’ve got a question I’ve got 3 5M 60led/m and want to add them to one light however In WLED it says that you shouldn’t have more than 800 is there a way to make 2 lights but make one continue after the other in the animations rather than duplicating it. Or how else could I achieve this as I plane to make a panel and plan to make more in the future
Looking for a little help....my lights are no longer accepting the settings and turn on random colors. I cannot control the colors or effects thru the WLED app. In fact they just turn on...and sometimes its only the first few lights in the chain.....any ideas?

Using a Falcon controller or something similar, you can upload sequences via xlights which include the music, you can those sequences to a "Playlist" which will cycle through the songs and sequences to go with the songs. Is that possible to dig quad and the esp32? How much data can be stored on the devices to make a "show"?
So, I just upgraded to the new Diguno and I am only getting the first 30 leds to light. I changed settings to 150, but still only lighting 30. Why might this be happening?
I noticed I can't get the blank female header strip back in place. It's a little bit too tight with the hardware next to it and it doesn't go down far enough anymore.
I have a problem only the first light works turns on blue I cant change color or do anything I am going to order another quad to see this one is brand new. I put a #10 fuse because none of the fuses it came with were any good . Is there something I am missing. Thanks
@@stutzTHEman13 i figured out the problem i had the wires backwards i had the blue and white wires wrong i switched them out and it works now. On my plug the blue wire was negative and the white wire is data wire. Try that it should work.
The best way to troubleshoot this and any other quesitons that arise is to join the discord channel. There are a lot of smart people there that can answer questions like this. It can be difficult to troubleshoot via youtube comments.
I have wled on a new Dig-quad. Is there a way to run a 10 preset playlist starting at 5pm every night for 5 hours(for a xmas display)? I have built the presets already and have the preset cycle checked.
will the lights come on as soon as you connect power, prior to selecting the output pin, or does the pin need to be configured before you'll see any lights come on? Just got the new dig quad and can't get my lights to come on.
Can you have several controllers acting together, i.e. they are set up independently each controlling its own strip, but then you want to make them behave as one controller driving the two strips as if it were a single longer strip?
All the coordinated strings need to be on the same controller. A Dig-Octa can handle the most separate strings. More that that and you need a falcon player or something that uses a bigger CPU.

To quote WLED Remote Sync WLED features a method where multiple controllers can be synced to run the same effects. Since this only sends through what effect to run it doesn’t generate a lot of network data. This also means that there is no continuous sync over multiple controllers so again either using WiFi or Ethernet won’t make a very big difference. WLED Remote continuous If you do wish to run an LED strip or pixel string divided over multiple controllers and for these effects to be in perfect sync as if it’s a continuous LED strip, the setup is a little bit different. Instead of setting up a sync of the effects and data, starting from WLED 0.13 you can setup a remote controller in the LED preferences menu and it’ll all act like it’s one big continuous strip so even effects like “comet” will act like they’re moving over the multiple controllers like it’s one whole using this “DDP” option!

Question about number of leds. I encountered problem with WiFi when I entered 300 APA102 leds. My whole WiFi network is slowed down and I even lost a lot of packets when pinging router from PC. Why is that? Have somebody encountered this problem?
You can set it to 0.75 in Settings>Playback Speed and he will sound normal. I kind of like the faster speed myself, his videos can get kind of lengthy without it.

I have a 150w 30amp power supply. In wled what Ma can the setting be. It defaults to 850. I am running 320 5v leds. I am new to all this.

I am having the same problem but my first light is green. Ive been playing around with them for a while and have only got all light up white one time

If you only plan on using your dig quad once a year, at Xmas, should you update once a year? Will it still work if you don’t? Thx.
If you are not changing the show and it's working for you, don't bother updating it.
On my setup page it says i have 1053 leds. but i only have 695 why does it not give me the option of changing the total number of leds?

what the output pin number for ESP32?
Usually 2, or D2 on the board. But if you've connected the leds to another pin, just change it in led settings page 👍
