Vietnam war and the Củ Chi tunnels

  • During the French colonial period ,and leading up to the American involvement in the Vietnam war . A series of tunnels appeared during the Indochina war 1945-54 against the French colonists. These were primarily to provide shelter to the Việt Minh , and once the Americans arrived they began to expand the Củ Chi tunnels into a series of vast underground networks .
    Folks thanks for taking the time out of your busy day , this trip to Vietnam is a little side Quest to our normal traveling around Australia . I think its important to gather the stories from war Veterans, I hope you enjoy the content as these stories are an important reminder of the history of Vietnam.

    It's funny how people go to Vietnam andgo to all these war sites yet in the sixtees blokes were doing a runner overseas to get out of conscription. Gutless wonders

    Communist propaganda. The VC build the tunnel after the war for tourists. 😂
