My husband's favourite Bakewell tart ! But I agree with Emma I don't like them at all, give me a nice old fashioned Apple pie any day but I hope you enjoyed it, another Great video thank you, no matter where you end up taking us with you its always an informative fun day. Stay safe !
We visited Bakewell last Summer, and like you we were disappointed with the reality of a genuine Bakewell pudding! We’ll be sticking to Mr Kiplings tarts with a cherry on top from now on! he does make exceedingly good cakes! Lol.
I used to make Bakewell tarts but I can't for the life of me remember the recipe! They had shortcrust pastry on the bottom. The one you had looked like puff pastry. Perhaps that's the difference. Anyway, thanks for an entertaining vlog.
I live quite near to Bakewell but haven’t ever tried Bakewell pudding! 😆 Next time you’re in Derbyshire, try Derbyshire oatcakes great heated on the stove with peanut butter or jam .. and vegan 😋 do you have anything similar in Yorkshire? Absolutely loving your films, we are also completely in love with Ibiza, and have spent so much time at the lunch spot next to the camping site that we shall not name! Couldn’t believe it when you ended up there! Honestly my fave place in the world! Xx

your both bonkers coming all this way for a bakewell tart or pudding , id rather have a chocolate sundae, theres not a lot to do in bakewell but shop ,the locks are removed now off the bridge its under going repairs, the locks are now at thornbridge hall to put on fencing there ,.
