The point is TO PLAY And the reason why the levels don't have checkpoints is because the mechanics of the game is that if you die it'll take you to the overworld, y'all haven't even played this game and criticize it without knowing it.
I've played this game and also Megamix, ngl that Megamix is cool, but this one has a different and original objective, in addition to new mechanics and abilities, ik maybe it still needs to be improved, yeah, but it's still in development phase soo
This game seems to focus on the Speed aspect, and not the Platforming - That's fine, but the backgrounds could be better designed, they are just lazy. Also, add some checkpoints so you don't begin the level from scratch after dying.
