Still having one doubt. if the distance between A and B are very large, how do we plot on the chart and solve it ? For eg Q fm MMD May '22. Q. Your ship (A), max speed 16 knots, has to catch up with a another vessel (B) that is steering a course of 216(T) at 9 knots. Set your cost to rendezvous 'B' if she lies 102 miles from 'A' in 334( T) direction. How long will it take to reach her?

In such cases you can plot on answer sheet by scaling down - choosing suitable distance e.g. 1cm = 5 or 10 miles.
