I guess im randomly asking but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
I am new to the Wild Water Carp fishing scene here in the US. I am learning a lot from many anglers here. I am the kind of angler who likes to not only talk about a certain topic, but like to see it, diagnose it, understand it, understand everything about it, not just tying it. This video is awesome! Thx Julian. I will be searching for more of your videos. Well done, and this is exactly what many newer anglers need.
Absolutely brilliant Jules. Great precise instructions at a speed you can take in and understand. You explain as to why you do things the way you do them to give the best mechanics of the rigs. The PVA description is Bob-on I didn’t know sunlight affected pva so much. Thank you for this 👌
Great detail Julian, I too have used this rig for donkeys years the thickness if the wire on those bait screws will stop the end loop from rubbing against the hook wire at the closed eye wire. This is important as a long battle with the loop against the eye of the hook can wear through the loop...the thick wire of the bait screw mitigates that problem.
Thanks everyone.. so kind of you to respond. hopefully it will catch you plenty more carp.. Any more questions just go to my Twitter feed @juliancundiff or Facebook at Julian P Cundiff
+jules cundiff Brilliant Video! I was lucky enough to join Mike Kavanagh at a Anglers Times run Carp Fish in at Linear Fisheries about 20 years ago, Mike showed me that rig back then and i've used it ever since! your adoptions not hat far off what he showed me and holds true to its simple and strong origins, great video, keep up the good work!
Great vid, That was the second vid. of yours Ive seen. The fist one made me buy your books off Amazon and eBay. I am more of a game and sea fisherman, But my sons dream was to go carp fishing in France. So I booked us in for next Aug. Thanks for all your help getting up to speed on rigs etc Cheers Julian
Excellent video Julian. Thanks for taking the time to go through all that. I realise Nash probably paid you to do it, but masses of interesting stuff there. Off to make a combi now. Never used one, had recent success with the D rig, which is similar.
Hey mate, no payment or prompting from Nash or any company, this was my idea and Jules was more than happy to do it. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
Julian, just subscribed, this video is full of great tips info, will be putting these tactics into my rigs next week, looking forward to your next Videoo
Darryl Clarkson I can't talk for Jules but I use Curve shanks for mine because I love the aggressive shape. Drop him a message on Facebook or Twitter and I'm sure he'll respond.
+Kevan Murr the leaders come with loops on the end so you just attach the leader to swivel via the loop i.e pull the leader loop through the swivel, then pass the other end of the leader through the loop and pull it tight on itself.
+Kevan Murr try and get the loop as tight on the swivel as possible and it should fit. Make sure to lubricate the loop as you pull it down, this will help get it smaller.
i blamed my hook it snapped in half in a carps mouth n the carp was only a twenty in my tackle shop they have a reduced bin evreything £1 ive had all my tackle out off it for 2 years it would off cost me over a grand for what i have litterly cost me 300
Jim Mozart Like Matt said. i'll tie a figure 8 loop knot in my mainline. pass that through the leader loop and then pull the lead clip end of the leader through the loop in the mainline. I do this because i know my figure 8 knot better than i do a grinner or blood knot and its easier to switch or remove the leader.
+Scree72 Carpe Diem, I'm fishing a water that has banned leaders and I just use a lead clip straight up with about 12 inch of tubing. Everything else will work the same.
I couldn't believe that a rig video could last an hour but I just watched it through and am gobsmacked! Thank you Jules 😃

Great rig, watched the vid yesterday tied some rigs used the foam in that way and had 3 today, living the dream
Very well explained, always amazed at the level of thought you put into what some people would call the basics.
Thanks Jules.
Ive watched dozens of videos on the multi rig and can honestly say this one is the Nuts... Well presented and great camera skills. Learnt Loads
Cheers mate, glad the camera skills are upto scratch.

it covered everything i can think of. I've ordered some nash twister chods to try. can possibly get away without the shrink tube then.
MrRorfac3 I prefer it with shrink tube to be honest.
Could listen to Julian all day
Best multi-rig video I've ever seen by a long chalk. Thanks for all the top tips.

I'll pass on the comments Mark. Cheers.
Well done Jules. Cheap and cheerful and very helpful.

great vid mate, love the tshirt as well
outstanding vid ...thanks for your great knowledge
Awesome info, thanks 👍🏻
Brilliant video. Why does Julian favour a curve to a chod and does he worry about the loop slipping on the cast?
Darryl Clarkson I can't talk for Jules but I use Curve shanks for mine because I love the aggressive shape. Drop him a message on Facebook or Twitter and I'm sure he'll respond.
Fantastic! Very helpful!!
Fab video really informative
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Great vid, could you tell us how to attach the ring swivel to the leader plse?
+Kevan Murr the leaders come with loops on the end so you just attach the leader to swivel via the loop i.e pull the leader loop through the swivel, then pass the other end of the leader through the loop and pull it tight on itself.
I know I'm late to the party, but is it possible to use a pva mesh bag with this rig, or will it pull the loop shut? Cheers.
Thank you for quick reply, I have tried this only then I am not able to pull the swivel into lead clip.
+Kevan Murr try and get the loop as tight on the swivel as possible and it should fit. Make sure to lubricate the loop as you pull it down, this will help get it smaller.
Happy New Year Julian. Did u go to Ashead school in Reading
Hi. Just viewed your video on making a multi rig. You say it can be used for bottom baits so would you still use the shot and putty? Cheers
Hi folks-whats the music Jules has playing in the background-good stuff !!
+David Carefoot Hey, not overly sure which tracks I used. I think they were just some royalty free ones I plucked from RUclips mate.
what knot 4 defusion leader to mainline?
How is the hook length attached to the leader - just via the plastic peg in the lead clip?!
+Benjamin Rhodes Hi Ben, it's tied on to the big ring swivel. If you watch from 42 mins it shows you there.
Great video, if you ever get sacked you'll easily get a job doing kitchen utensil demos in shopping centres ;)
Thanks, I think.
Cool
your kitchen is upstairs or it a bungalow

I Wanted to listen to Julian at the beginning, not music ffs!
+Scree72 Carpe Diem Patience is a virtue
you can narf talk ha
what knot 4 defusion leader to mainline?
I use a loop knot. Not sure if Jules uses the same. Hope that helps.
Jim Mozart Like Matt said.

+MrRorfac3 What if Leaders are banned? What would would you use instead? They are banned at most of the waters that i fish.
+Scree72 Carpe Diem, I'm fishing a water that has banned leaders and I just use a lead clip straight up with about 12 inch of tubing. Everything else will work the same.
