Another confirmation that people are amazing and you never know what people are dealing with. and compassion is needed universally. Those letters touched us all. I just spent a terrible short night trying to sleep, but got out of bed after only 4 hrs. I'm so tired so I thought I'd watch videos & get sleepy. Well, that didn't work. Instead I'm sitting here crying my eyes out for all of the people who shared their stories, somehow I missed the memo. An older woma, when I was young, told me that no matter how bad things get for you someone somewhere had it worse. It didn't minimize what I was going through, just that I wasn't alone. So I'd do like the lady in one of your letters, WWJD, & I'd take a deep breath. I have no living children, husband gone & my little dog crossed the rainbow bridge. I'll never have grandchildren as my daughter died @ 21yrs, so all your babies are like my grandbabies. I don't get hugs or kisses & I cry when they cross the bridge, but watching them gives me so much joy. Thank you so much. 🙋♀️💜💜💜🌈😢
I feel the same way, i can be having a miserable day and all of the sudden get an email or message that slaps me across the face and says to get up, get a grip, and realize how blessed i am because it can always be much worse.
You sound like an amazing person. I don't know if your area allows it again with Covid, but you can volunteer to hold babies at a children's hospital. A lot of parents have to work and have other kids and can't get down there and the babies are alone and cry and ofcourse, the nurses are so overworked, they wish they could, but don't have the time to sit with each one and that's where the volunteers come in. It is a HUGE help. Or If you knit, you can make newborn beanies and newborn blankets for the newborns and take them down or someone might even be able to pick them up! But you sound like someone who still has a huge heart, full of love to give, and there is such a big need for that. And you can get very creative in how and where you can still share that. I am so sorry for having had so much loss over time. You sound like such a sweetheart. Please don't keep it to yourself. Find a way to pay it forward. I had to when my best emptied out. I knew how my Mom felt, and it was rough. So I help a Mom who has 6 kids! I go over and spend time and she can doodle around or take a nap and I go for walks with the kids and teach them about bees and make them be calm and guess letters and words on their backs and read to them. The things the Mom wishes she had the time to do in a day, so it's still getting done. I had my Grandmother to help me. I lost her in 06, and I had 3 kids and a hubby, but when I lost her, I lost a lot of joy and will to be a Mom or wife or anything and it took me a good 2 years to get to a place where it didn't hurt so bad to think of her and could think about her and smile again. But, having her help and them having Great Grandparents(my parents were absentee grandparents), was a God send to me. So, when our family friend( we adopt family members) had more kids and things got difficult for her, I knew what I had to do and am paying it forward. I will be praying for you. You sound so much like me. I lost 4 of my very favorite family members, who were major parts of my life, and the kids grew up and left, so I had to find an outlet for all the love I still have to give. I think you tube channels like this is where all the good hearted people come to hang out and spend some time. Have you seen Sharymzoo? She is a big time animal lover, I think she has 40 or 53 rescued or orphaned birds, 2 cats she rescued(one from the streets of Egypt!) And she has a pot belly pig, named Sammy, who is 15 years old! She lost her Mom almost a year ago, so it's her, her Dad and all those babies to keep her going. It sure isn't easy. It is some comfort to know that someday, when it's my turn, I'll see them all again and that next time will be forever. May God bless you. I will keep you in my prayers too :)

Strength is not necessarily measured in the simplest of terms , maybe it’s in how well you are loved , how well you are thought of , how much you are needed .and I know this is true so Lester you and all your family including the ones we don’t get to see too much or don’t want to be on camera , so imagine the strength you have . I don't know how you all got through some of those letters. My heart goes out to the Ima Survivor Sanctuary family. I was raised on a dairy farm here in Upstate NY and loved every minute of it. We had the run of 400+ acres. It was the best. The milk cows have since gone but the farm is still here with some beef cows, goats, pigs and a few chickens. And yes we even have a pot belly lol I got married and moved away, my husband of 22 years passed from lung cancer in 2019. Totally lost and financially unstable, I moved back to the farm. It was the best decision I could have made. The animals truly do help with the healing process. I also found you with your video returning to the sanctuary after the hurricane flooding. It was devastating to say the least. I've never been through that but I did feel a connection and have been watching ever since. God Bless you all for loving and caring for the animals.
I'll never forget the time I saw one of your videos late in 2020, it was the first time I smiled since my father passed away. Escape is sometimes difficult to find, especially an escape that is not even more damaging, such as alcohol or other substances. During the darkest times we are at our most vulnerable, and often the need to dull the pain is greater than the common sense we should pay heed to. It seems at times the darkness can overwhelm, and it was when I was falling into an abyss I saw a glimpse of light illuminate the dark. That brief break in the gloom, provided by the joy of the animals, and antics of the "shitshow" was enough to get me through that night. Since that night, that glint of light grew wider, as a small sanctuary of serenity and warmth opened itself to me, providing me shelter from the storm. It may not seem much, but even the briefest moment of joy is so powerful when it helps one stay afloat in a sea of despair. I am still treading water, but your lighthouse shines on me to show me that there is light in the darkness. I will be forever grateful, and still wonder how I found this small paradise. And it seems that I am far from alone, look at all of the incredible people in this world, people from all walks of life, who too have been through so much, as they say, we all have a story, and we are all survivors of something. Survivor, that is something I am proud to be. Thanks.

God Bless your family...animals and all! 2020 was hard, lost a beloved cousin to Cancer, one of my beloved dogs, Matt, a huge yellow lab, had a stroke and died, no warning at all. Most of my family who have gotten covid, only a few, it's all been light cases. I first found you in the so sad video of coming home to find so many dead animals, and your miracle 3 alive, when it was first played! And haven't missed any yet!! I love animals, still have 3 older dogs, and all the babies on the farm are also my family! I live in Shepherd, and keep hoping I will someday run into yall at Tractor Supply! I an 70 and and while have some health issues, still get around. I pray for all of you, you help so many of us out of dark holes, and give us help to keep going. Love all of you SO much!

So true. 2020 has been, largely, an awful year. Here in the UK we are on lockdown till at least Easter. I have a large garden though and many, many birds visit. One of the positives is my husband now works from home permanently. He is a psychotherapist. He is so much more relaxed. Cans do jobs in the house and garden between clients, has time to read a book. I am retired and semi disabled anyway and did not go out much. I rely, though, on You Tube as a window on the world. Finding your channel has been such a joy! I love it when you, Lester, have to find ways to delicately explain the bodily processes of the animals!!!
Lester, Jami and LE, not sure who thought of or came up with your vision statement but, obviously, with the letters you shared today it certainly speaks to us. It’s a statement of fact and truth because when you think about it we ALL are survivors of one thing or another that impacted our or a loved ones lives. I found your videos accidentally one night as I was strolling through my RUclips. You make me smile, want to love on the animals, and laugh at their crazy antics. You, Jamie, LE, and the other children are Blessed by God and your Patrons. Never deny on of your Patrons for Blessing you with a gift, becsuse they get so much more out of being able to bless someone . In return when you get an opportunity to bless someone, just think back and say thanks you. The loose their pleasure and happiness when you tell them not to send their contributions. You will receive a beautiful blessing when you in turn bless someone .A very sweet lady which is 97 years old told me once even if ypu don't need or want someone gives you, just accept the gift and thank them. Because if you don't you will break their happiness in giving. I try to do this, if it is nothing but giving them a loaf of homemade bread, a slice of their favorite cake or a dozen of my MeMe (molasses) cookies. My oldest grandson named them when it was about 2 years old. He is now going on 17, he is very special to me. This is what my 4 grandchildren , 2 of my 3 children want for Christmas or Birthdays, plus the grands want meme's handmade flannel pajama bottoms. All of the boys have worn the oldest PJ's we just keep letting the 6 inch hems out . Then my daughter packs them away for them. Maybe I should have written you a letter and sent you a box of the cookies. I make about 10 dozen and give them out for Christmas. Even Ms. Annie gets her bag. She is the one that tries to keep me on the right path with God and my Family. She is like a mother to me. Especially since both my parents have passed on .Thank you and Bless you for caring for the unwanted, lost and the beautiful animal family you have made for us to love and enjoy. 🙏👍♥️❤❤❤❤

I've been hooked ever since :) I'm Matthías, I'm 31 years old and I live in Iceland. My grandparents had a farm when I was little. They passed away when I was about 4 years old. I moved to the city of Reykjavík where I became a regular visitor of the farm animal zoo for about two years. I've always wanted to be a farmer.. today I'm working with flowers in greenhouses at a garden center, I guess that's as close as I can get for now. Your videos always bring a smile on my face when I come back home from work, thank you folks

I watch videos on both Facebook and RUclips. I am in love with your animals but mostly the horses as I used to ride about a hundred years ago, I’m 72 years old now and will always miss the smell, touch and love of a horse. I lost my husband of 50 years, 3 months and 3 days in 2017 and lost my 13 year old yellow lab 3 months after that. I don’t have a pet anymore as I sold our home of nearly 40 years and moved into an apartment where I don’t think it would be right for a pet so I watch your animals and love them. I have also shared y’all with my 93 year old mom, we lost Dad in 2013, so she is alone too. Love y’all bunches. Take care of yourselves and your babies. Love y’all, Cindy

I feel the same way, i can be having a miserable day and all of the sudden get an email or message that slaps me across the face and says to get up, get a grip, and realize how blessed i am because it can always be much worse.

You sound like an amazing person. I don't know if your area allows it again with Covid, but you can volunteer to hold babies at a children's hospital. A lot of parents have to work and have other kids and can't get down there and the babies are alone and cry and ofcourse, the nurses are so overworked, they wish they could, but don't have the time to sit with each one and that's where the volunteers come in. It is a HUGE help. Or If you knit, you can make newborn beanies and newborn blankets for the newborns and take them down or someone might even be able to pick them up! But you sound like someone who still has a huge heart, full of love to give, and there is such a big need for that. And you can get very creative in how and where you can still share that. I am so sorry for having had so much loss over time. You sound like such a sweetheart. Please don't keep it to yourself. Find a way to pay it forward. I had to when my best emptied out. I knew how my Mom felt, and it was rough. So I help a Mom who has 6 kids! I go over and spend time and she can doodle around or take a nap and I go for walks with the kids and teach them about bees and make them be calm and guess letters and words on their backs and read to them. The things the Mom wishes she had the time to do in a day, so it's still getting done. I had my Grandmother to help me. I lost her in 06, and I had 3 kids and a hubby, but when I lost her, I lost a lot of joy and will to be a Mom or wife or anything and it took me a good 2 years to get to a place where it didn't hurt so bad to think of her and could think about her and smile again. But, having her help and them having Great Grandparents(my parents were absentee grandparents), was a God send to me. So, when our family friend( we adopt family members) had more kids and things got difficult for her, I knew what I had to do and am paying it forward. I will be praying for you. You sound so much like me. I lost 4 of my very favorite family members, who were major parts of my life, and the kids grew up and left, so I had to find an outlet for all the love I still have to give. I think you tube channels like this is where all the good hearted people come to hang out and spend some time. Have you seen Sharymzoo? She is a big time animal lover, I think she has 40 or 53 rescued or orphaned birds, 2 cats she rescued(one from the streets of Egypt!) And she has a pot belly pig, named Sammy, who is 15 years old! She lost her Mom almost a year ago, so it's her, her Dad and all those babies to keep her going. It sure isn't easy. It is some comfort to know that someday, when it's my turn, I'll see them all again and that next time will be forever. May God bless you. I will keep you in my prayers too :)

I don't know how you all got through some of those letters. My heart goes out to the Ima Survivor Sanctuary family. I was raised on a dairy farm here in Upstate NY and loved every minute of it. We had the run of 400+ acres. It was the best. The milk cows have since gone but the farm is still here with some beef cows, goats, pigs and a few chickens. And yes we even have a pot belly lol I got married and moved away, my husband of 22 years passed from lung cancer in 2019. Totally lost and financially unstable, I moved back to the farm. It was the best decision I could have made. The animals truly do help with the healing process. I also found you with your video returning to the sanctuary after the hurricane flooding. It was devastating to say the least. I've never been through that but I did feel a connection and have been watching ever since. God Bless you all for loving and caring for the animals.

I'll never forget the time I saw one of your videos late in 2020, it was the first time I smiled since my father passed away.
Escape is sometimes difficult to find, especially an escape that is not even more damaging, such as alcohol or other substances.
During the darkest times we are at our most vulnerable, and often the need to dull the pain is greater than the common sense we should pay heed to.
It seems at times the darkness can overwhelm, and it was when I was falling into an abyss I saw a glimpse of light illuminate the dark.
That brief break in the gloom, provided by the joy of the animals, and antics of the "shitshow" was enough to get me through that night.
Since that night, that glint of light grew wider, as a small sanctuary of serenity and warmth opened itself to me, providing me shelter from the storm.
It may not seem much, but even the briefest moment of joy is so powerful when it helps one stay afloat in a sea of despair.
I am still treading water, but your lighthouse shines on me to show me that there is light in the darkness.
I will be forever grateful, and still wonder how I found this small paradise.
And it seems that I am far from alone, look at all of the incredible people in this world, people from all walks of life, who too have been through so much, as they say, we all have a story, and we are all survivors of something.
Survivor, that is something I am proud to be.

God Bless your family...animals and all! 2020 was hard, lost a beloved cousin to Cancer, one of my beloved dogs, Matt, a huge yellow lab, had a stroke and died, no warning at all. Most of my family who have gotten covid, only a few, it's all been light cases. I first found you in the so sad video of coming home to find so many dead animals, and your miracle 3 alive, when it was first played! And haven't missed any yet!! I love animals, still have 3 older dogs, and all the babies on the farm are also my family! I live in Shepherd, and keep hoping I will someday run into yall at Tractor Supply! I an 70 and and while have some health issues, still get around. I pray for all of you, you help so many of us out of dark holes, and give us help to keep going. Love all of you SO much!
If ever you guys doubt yourself, read those letters....different generations brought together,by your love and determination to provide and protect them beautiful babies...keep up the good work

I’m 76, not that far from 80, and I found you this spring. I so enjoy your videos, no matter what the subject. I love paw paw, your mom, L E’s channel, Jamie, from suits to boots, and Jake’s videos. Love y’all from Tennessee. You even help me to relax and go to sleep at night. I used to go to bed and lie awake, wide awake, until all hours of the morning. You’re a great sleeping pill, and I mean it all in a good way.
I watch both FB and RUclips. Your amazing. To your animals and family. There have been times when I was really down. The death if my son being the worst. No words can ever express the feelings. So true. 2020 has been, largely, an awful year. Here in the UK we are on lockdown till at least Easter. I have a large garden though and many, many birds visit. One of the positives is my husband now works from home permanently. He is a psychotherapist. He is so much more relaxed. Cans do jobs in the house and garden between clients, has time to read a book. I am retired and semi disabled anyway and did not go out much. I rely, though, on You Tube as a window on the world. Finding your channel has been such a joy! I love it when you, Lester, have to find ways to delicately explain the bodily processes of the animals!!!
Lester, Jami and LE, not sure who thought of or came up with your vision statement but, obviously, with the letters you shared today it certainly speaks to us. It’s a statement of fact and truth because when you think about it we ALL are survivors of one thing or another that impacted our or a loved ones lives. I found your videos accidentally one night as I was strolling through my RUclips. You make me smile, want to love on the animals, and laugh at their crazy antics. You, Jamie, LE, and the other children are Blessed by God and your Patrons. Never deny on of your Patrons for Blessing you with a gift, becsuse they get so much more out of being able to bless someone . In return when you get an opportunity to bless someone, just think back and say thanks you. The loose their pleasure and happiness when you tell them not to send their contributions. You will receive a beautiful blessing when you in turn bless someone .A very sweet lady which is 97 years old told me once even if ypu don't need or want someone gives you, just accept the gift and thank them. Because if you don't you will break their happiness in giving. I try to do this, if it is nothing but giving them a loaf of homemade bread, a slice of their favorite cake or a dozen of my MeMe (molasses) cookies. My oldest grandson named them when it was about 2 years old. He is now going on 17, he is very special to me. This is what my 4 grandchildren , 2 of my 3 children want for Christmas or Birthdays, plus the grands want meme's handmade flannel pajama bottoms. All of the boys have worn the oldest PJ's we just keep letting the 6 inch hems out . Then my daughter packs them away for them. Maybe I should have written you a letter and sent you a box of the cookies. I make about 10 dozen and give them out for Christmas. Even Ms. Annie gets her bag. She is the one that tries to keep me on the right path with God and my Family. She is like a mother to me. Especially since both my parents have passed on .Thank you and Bless you for caring for the unwanted, lost and the beautiful animal family you have made for us to love and enjoy. 🙏👍♥️❤❤❤❤

I've been hooked ever since :) I'm Matthías, I'm 31 years old and I live in Iceland. My grandparents had a farm when I was little. They passed away when I was about 4 years old. I moved to the city of Reykjavík where I became a regular visitor of the farm animal zoo for about two years. I've always wanted to be a farmer.. today I'm working with flowers in greenhouses at a garden center, I guess that's as close as I can get for now. Your videos always bring a smile on my face when I come back home from work, thank you folks

I am in love with your animals but mostly the horses as I used to ride about a hundred years ago, I’m 72 years old now and will always miss the smell, touch and love of a horse.
I lost my husband of 50 years, 3 months and 3 days in 2017 and lost my 13 year old yellow lab 3 months after that. I don’t have a pet anymore as I sold our home of nearly 40 years and moved into an apartment where I don’t think it would be right for a pet so I watch your animals and love them. I have also shared y’all with my 93 year old mom, we lost Dad in 2013, so she is alone too. Love y’all bunches. Take care of yourselves and your babies.

A lot of seniors had to deal with the loneliness of the quarantine. Giving them something to help distract them from missing their families and the isolation.

From diagnosis to his passing the time frame was less than a year. I've watched our four children grieve the loss of their Dad, we all can't speak about him without tears pouring out of our eyes. Your videos of your precious and funny animals help me to once again laugh and feel joy. Thank you!!!!
