March 2020 I was stricken with Covid and vomited blood, at that time there was no medicine that could cure me, but thanks to the help of the Lord Jesus I was healed even though half of my lungs were damaged. Thanks God...

What I said above agrees with everything I've been taught in religion class and from other Catholic sources. I think that some Catholics (a lot in South America, for example) focus on Mary so much that they cross the path from venerating/honoring Mary (what we should be doing) to idolizing/worshipping her (what we shouldn't be doing; it's a sin and against the Catholic Church and Bible's teachings. It is just so common by some Catholics that people think the Catholic Church is okay with idolizing Mary -- it is not. Nobody except for God should be worshipped/idolized/glorified). We have been taught that the whole Mass is for Jesus Christ. That's why the altar is in the center, as well as the crucifix with Jesus. The main point of going to Mass is to receive the Eucharist. My school also does Stations of the Cross sometimes -- which is all about Jesus' journey before/when he died and how he suffered for us. I think that it's a shame that your Catholic school put all of its focus on Mary. Mary is lovely, of course, and we should love and honor her like we do our own mothers, but the main focus should always be on Jesus Christ.

This is one of the very best songs by Rich mullins. He is unmatched as far as I can tell, praise worship is amazing. The world will tell you Almighty God doesn't need our praises, but I believe it brings him joy, and it brings his children joy as well. Wonderful on every level!!

Our whole service (Mass) is about Him (we read passages from Sacred Scripture [including a reading from the Gospels], have Communion, etc.). We also have a Trinitarian Baptism (in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit). I assume in your comment you're referring to the horribly incorrect stereotype that Catholics worship Mary. That is 100% FALSE. Catholics do not worship anybody besides God. To worship anybody besides Christ Jesus (including Mary) would be a sin and against the 10 Commandments. Catholics believe that only God answers our prayers, nobody else. We honor and respect Mary just as we honor and respect our own mother (after all, she's the mother of our Lord and Savior; she deserves our respect just as our own mother does), but that is it. Only GOD can bring us Salvation. Only GOD can answer our prayers. Also, as I'd like to point out in case you're one of the people who say otherwise, Catholics are in fact CHRISTIANS. (I could go on about that topic but I won't.) Anyway, please do not believe the anti-Catholic and incorrect Catholic stereotypes that you hear. Odds are that they're not true. If you want to learn about the Catholic Church and be informed, get your information from a knowledgeable and practicing Catholic who can tell you the Truth. Bethany Solomon I go to Catholic school now, I've gone to 7 years of Catholic school (I graduate high school this month). What I said above agrees with everything I've been taught in religion class and from other Catholic sources. I think that some Catholics (a lot in South America, for example) focus on Mary so much that they cross the path from venerating/honoring Mary (what we should be doing) to idolizing/worshipping her (what we shouldn't be doing; it's a sin and against the Catholic Church and Bible's teachings. It is just so common by some Catholics that people think the Catholic Church is okay with idolizing Mary -- it is not. Nobody except for God should be worshipped/idolized/glorified). We have been taught that the whole Mass is for Jesus Christ. That's why the altar is in the center, as well as the crucifix with Jesus. The main point of going to Mass is to receive the Eucharist. My school also does Stations of the Cross sometimes -- which is all about Jesus' journey before/when he died and how he suffered for us. I think that it's a shame that your Catholic school put all of its focus on Mary. Mary is lovely, of course, and we should love and honor her like we do our own mothers, but the main focus should always be on Jesus Christ.
