I’m 36 and loves sports cars. Something nice about an efficient well built car. Simple styling means it SHOULD age well. The more basic the design the better it ages. Could be a good car to last for 10 years to me
Thanks for the review, man. Just to let you know, the Honda hybrids don’t have a CVT. It’s driven by the electric motor at below 45 mph, and above that it uses a direct drive gear setup. It’s marketed as “eCVT” for simplicity. The 1.5T Accord uses a CVT. But each transmission is different. The eCVT is superior and feels better to drive.
@@DriveOnReviews yeah, I saw that too. I can’t believe they put CVT on the window sticker when it’s not even what it has lol. They should at least put eCVT.
@@DriveOnReviews I was looking at another car. The window sticker said it had 17" tires. Under the options though, there was a charge for the optional 18" wheels, which it did have. I guess that's what they mean by "stretch" tires.
Thank you for this wonderful review, I enjoyed it. Please help me. I am confused about the color. What is your evaluation of this color and what is the most beautiful color in your opinion on the Honda Accord Hybrid?
I don't like the silver accents on certain colors but that can easily be painted. I like it. I wish they would've been a tad bit more aggressive on the front end though. I can't believe Kia is going to kill off the K5, if that's true.
Thanks for the great review. Need to adjust the lighting on this video, however. It's very dark. I've had 3 Accords, last being a '13 Touring. Great cars and I am sure the new one is too. But, $43k!? No thanks. Besides I no longer need for a 4-door sedan and they dropped the 2.0 turbo.
I definitely haven’t been a big fan of the outgoing generation’s interior or exterior but Honda certainly knocked that incoming gen out of the park with all its aesthetics. The only reason I wouldn’t personally purchase one would be because of the seemingly underwhelming powertrains, but otherwise, it looks to be a great and much needed product offering in their evolving lineup.
Gonna correct you a little here. Rear turn signals differ by length… only the touring gets the biggest turn signal (trunk area included)….. rest have a smaller blinker with faux/fake/hollow trunk element
Just a heads up: The Honda Accord Hybrid does not come with a spare tire. If you have a non-hybrid version you get a spare. I have a horror story about not having a spare.
Was going to switch from a 2020 to a 2023 CRV but do not like the black treatment, air ducting and exhaust trim. The new Accord has much cleaner styling without the 'busy' look. IMO, the CRV is geared to a younger generation. I disagree with their marketing strategy in this area.
Here's to hoping the next Accord and TLX (or equivalents) will offer EV versions. Still loving our '11 Accord coupe but hate the now dated fuel economy.
They can try to copy the A5 and A7, but it'll never be as sexy as an A5 or 7. The new Accord just comes off as looking more boring than the previous model.
I'm not sold on this new Honda Taurus. The car just screams retirement pension plan buyers. Not fun factor at all. Darius K5 is more pleasant to look at than this snooze fest boaty Japanese squad car.
The best car in class

Excellent video!! And yes, Ulises at Braman Honda is the guy to see!
Thank you i appreciate the feedback and ulises is definitely worth coming to see
Beautiful color and beautiful interior
Yes I can agree with you
but not the exterior
I love the new Accord Touring
Me too , Honda did a fantastic job with this new generation

Yes you are correct honda says that but on the window sticker it calms it has CVT but thanks for the heads up

I agree lol but it’s still a good driving vehicle
@@DriveOnReviews yes indeed. Very smooth and quiet

0:13 that’s entirely too expensive for a Honda especially lookin like that.
WTH Honda No fog lights no 10 speed auto and have to go all the way up to the touring just to get rear AC vents. I’ll take a 2022 sport 2.0 over this
This is much better than your 22, and you can always add fog lights!
Thats exactly what we did!
$43k?!?!?!?! Yeah riiiiight! Honda smoking that good ish!
The 1.5 has been refined internally plus the turbo is rework for less lag and more power down low. Also , structural improvement's make it safer
Thank you for this wonderful review, I enjoyed it. Please help me. I am confused about the color. What is your evaluation of this color and what is the most beautiful color in your opinion on the Honda Accord Hybrid?
If it's possible always shoot when it's sunny ☀️
I don’t control the weather lol
@Drive On Reviews no, but you do control when you shoot!

Definitely not true. The k5 is soon getting a refresh. The sonata refresh is debuting in March I believe

Thanks for pointing that out but it was the forecast which I can’t control. But this car is great
I just bought a Touring....38K out the door loaded!

Yea I agree. Some how Turbos can be finiky

What are you correcting he didn't mention length he just said every trim gets LED - which is true
Great review!
Thank you i appreciate it
When you quote price give the REAL PRICE out the door. Markups, fees, addons load over $5,000 . Comfortable car that is taking you for a ride.
boooooo. great review my brother but I'm still in love with my 2018 accord with the 2.0 turbo 6 SPEED MANUAL
Aye that accord you have is a classic since this newer generation is not even offering that.
@@DriveOnReviews absolutely fam. since 2018 until now i only have 5,500 miles on it so i’m really trying to preserve it for the long run ☺️ ☺️ ☺️
Love it cause it's not coming back
@@kirkvanvranken3560 me 2. for everyone that was waiting for the new accord they missed there turn 😁 😁 😁

9546 is a troll. A honda hater. Hes on every site copying and pasting this same reply. One sick pup that hates the accord

The hybrid doesn't have a real cvt .. It's marketing from Honda it's actually two electric motors that drives the wheels they call it a e-cvt
I love this Accord
The touring does not offer adaptive dampers anymore…. Good review though! ✊🏾
did the 2.0t offer adaptive dampers ? Seems like this ia back step, not just the engine.
They can try to copy the A5 and A7, but it'll never be as sexy as an A5 or 7. The new Accord just comes off as looking more boring than the previous model.
They didn't copy an Audi....it's a much better value, and that's a fact.
This is better looking the more you see it
whats the color name?
It might be the Meteorite Gray but it’s hard to tell because the sun isn’t out.
i love everything except the vents. this is an extremely minor inconvenience, but most car air fresheners were tailored to the old vent design :/
Is it enough to sell your Accord for this one Darius ? Great review Bro
Yes moean I would definitely would and I don’t have the accord any more I have a k5 (2023)
@@DriveOnReviews how is the pick up in the hybrid model? I have a 2017 4 cylinder, with 180hp, and 180 torque
@@DriveOnReviews oh yea that's right. How is it?
Did the crown drive better than this?
Idk what Honda was thinking when it came to design! This car doesn’t look like a Honda! I’m not sure who there target audience is!?! Baby boomers?
Baby boomer here, its definitely not to my liking....

Well, it is your opinion 😅! Everyone has a different view on certain things😁.
In your opinion. At lest the car will last for year unlike the KIA
@@jamoyjr You don't even know that. Darius owns a K5 now. Ask him how his is holding up.
It’s going pretty well nothing broke lol thank god
@@jraheemjefcoat429 I’m speaking from experience….so there’s that.
Disappointed, no fog lights, no optional dashcam, don’t even see it as an option
Improve your camera quality. Too dark.
It was the weather so it looks dark
$43k??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
38K out the door!
@@kirkvanvranken3560 nope, the MSRP including destination fee is $39k. For OTD you must add tax, DMV fees, dealer fee and could be MARKUP as well.
Still ugly to me it looks like a grandma's car.
I'd rather switch to kia stinger
