My favor scene was the camping scene and the scene at the farm, also the hike when Jack opened up to Mel about how broken he was and the dark place and they can keep going to and get their dream. Love those and some really cute to the errr captain Jack sherdia kiss in the tent and her dancing and jack finds her dancing and he likes it. Also him being glad she doesn’t have to rush off the work they might have time for hum? Love the season. Even with the sadness.
Charmaine was already pregnant the night of the blackout. There was a letter in the box saying she was pregnant. It probably happened sometime before Calvin was shot. Mel’s father could be Nick or Charlie.
Mels father: It's Bug! Lily's dead husband. Makes all sense and Tara and Jack gave a hint already. That way Mel will get Cloe as a sister but will take care as her own daughter. Also she wants to buy the farm and why would Tara's sister pop up now and have a great connection to Mel and the same medical condition. . When Preacher said to Mel in the part 2 trailer: he is still here in vr. His face was like, his spirit and grave is here. MELS smile also fated away like she knew what's coming. I just wonder if Mel had any suspicious feelings and that's why she came to vr in the first place. But I think Tara's sister knows 2 option is Charlie. He had a connection to Mel since s.1 and shows up too many times somehow
Like Brie and Mike together but then liked Brady with her too. I think she unknowingly has wanted stability in her life so Mike fits the bill. For now. Sparks are sure to fly with Brady in the future though. As for Mel's father I wonder if it could be Nick. I have always wondered why they have mentioned several times over the seasons about him being 'handsy' Seems an odd thing to bring up with no action to explain it. And Jo Ellen made a comment about her moving to VR where she met Nick about 30 years ago and that sealed her fate with staying there so the timeline could be about right. Now for the biggie about the twins. Was hoping we never had to see Charmaine this season. But no, we have to see her pathetic face and hear her voice all over again. But they certainly delivered shocking news about the baby daddy. It makes sense that Calvin never really considered Jack a threat enough to get rid of him now. I only hope that somehow they draw Jack back in with her baby drama. I rewatched some scenes and I bet the one night stand was that night the power was out and everyone was at Jack's bar. Charmaine was there in person to get Hope to deliver that carton/letter to Jack and it was shortly after that that Calvin walked into the bar. So the timeline must be that night. I am still frustrated that Charmaine got off so easily with Mel and Jack forgiving her after almost 4 seasons of lying , intervention and manipulation on her part towards them. I am beyond frustrated that the writers wrapped this drama up so quickly with not much satisfaction for the viewers and little fanfare. It was basically 5 minutes and they are done with it. So that is my reflection on your video.
Thanks for sharing your opinion! I believe Nick is definitely sus. Also I was expecting an intense confrontation, and I'm quite surprised it didn't happen as I imagined. Like you said, she kinda got away with what she's done for 4 seasons...
Jack was Jack in that scene with Charmaine because he wanted her to know what she did was bad really bad but he didn’t yell at her just like he said she was selfish and he thought he was going to be a father to twin boys and he would do anything for them. I thought when he said that anything but marry the mother in a loveless marriage. But she did humiliate him by telling everyone he was the father and all the crap she did to him and Mel and she did break his heart he was ready to be a father at all cost as long as he didn’t have to give up the love of his life Mel. Also he accepted his part in the mess at the cabin by saying his action might not have matched his words and he was sorry for that. He is an honorable man.
I was rather disappointed in season 5 and thought there would be more about Char and the twins. Was sadden when Mel list her baby and how hurt Jack was.
I guessed right. I kept saying I think it's some one from the illegal growers camp, but didn't think it was him. Wow wow wow. I am so glad they revealed that instead of making us linger on wondering who it was. I also thought maybe she had had artificial insemination. I am very disappointed in that I was hoping the new Doc. Would fall for Chloe's sister, the first one taking care of her. Because the Doc has told Mel he would like to live out in the country with a wife & have 3 or 4 kids. I really don't think who he is starting a relationship is in child baring mode. Sorry.
You are wrong about Brie and Brady, she was just trying to feel like a whole woman again after the rape, a kind of rebound . If you listen when Brady and Brie were together the music is always “ I just want to feel okay”. Just was working passed the hurt. Even Brady knew it wouldn’t last he even told her that, because her world wasn’t his world. And just because you fall in love doesn’t make you a new person. So you are right about Brady not changing he just fell in love and it made him feel different. He has found Lark she is a good match. She makes him feel good about himself and she accepts him for who he is.
To be honest, none. All storylines are utterly ridiculous and unrealistic, the worst one being Brady/Brie. The new showrunner turned a feel-good series into a depressing soap opera. It's disheartening.
Except for the beautiful scenery this series was not heart warming. Do not understand the big build up to Jack and Mel's baby and then have her miscarry. Charmaine is still mentally unbalanced. How can Mel possibly deliver her twins after all the meanness Charmaine did to Mel and Jack. I've read the books but these story lines deviate way to much from them. There were many good story lines and new people in the books that could've continued the series on to be a good one not a soap opera that it has now become. I wonder what the author thinks?!

A Charmaine não teve o castigo que merecia.Foi uma decepção!!!

I never seen their relationship as a rebound, but I guess you're right.
