I was suprise that Soulburner was the one who would beat Varis in his last duel of the series. I always thought that Playmaker and Varis would have one last duel before Playmaker dueled A.I to get him ready for the final fight, but I guess this was still a good duel and I do love the speech Soulburner and Varis gave each other. Great duel.
To all Revolver fans that are upset that he lost his final duel, he literally let Soulburner win. That play with Zeroboros destroying his entire board is the biggest proof of it AND he wanted Soulburner to let go of the past. Not only that in Duel Links which serves as a stealth sequel to VRAINS, the recent Revolver event reveals that he word for word did indeed let Soulburner win and proceeded to defeat him after Revolver defeated Go and Blue Angel. Right now by the time im writing this, Revolver is dueling Playmaker, but I honestly don't think he will win unfortunately based on how the dialogue and event is written. Tho strangely enough, Duel Links did had Soulburner canonically defeat Playmaker.
I didn't really care who would win this duel because the stakes weren't really big and this duel acted more of an understanding and acceptance thing than proving who's the strongest. It also put an amazing conclusion to the characters of revolver and soulburner
How did Revolver throw the game when only certain effects can be activated during damage calculations, meaning Soulburner just needs to attack and its game?
This duel with spectre vslighting and playmaker vs revolver are considered without doubt from the best 10 duels in the entire series I always thought that nothing will surpass 5ds duels untill I watched vrains
That moment when you realize Revolver drew 7 cards during his last turn. 2 from Final offguard, 2 from squib draw, 1 from borrel regenerator after squib draw. Absoruter dragom's effect, and then Link burst. 8 if you count draw phase
I find it funny that in Master Duel, I defeated a @Ignister deck with pure Rokket-Borrel-Topologic deck 😂 Borreload Dragon and Borreload Savage Dragon are the MVPs of this archetype
@@rivershen677 same on dueling nexus, using precisely a revolver character deck I made and tested alone for more than a year! His cards are powerful, stylish and very cool, I don't get why you don't see many people playing pure rokket/borrel, but it's fine to me
@@johnbuffalo4300 I think it's because they felt slow on summoning powerful extra deck monsters. I don't mind if they're slow, as long as the opponent doesn't restrict how many times rokkets can summon, All Borrel/Topologic monsters will comeback and slowly wreck the opponent's board. I find it funny since my 1st turn combo is to summon striker dragons (I run 3 btw lmao) every turn and either I end with summoning Dillingerous Dragon or Flash Charge Dragon, my opponent doesn't find a way to banish Dillingerous dragon, because my next turn will bring out Borreload Dragon to act as my relinquished (best extra deck monster combo starter/board breaker for this deck imo) and steal the strongest enemy that has the highest atk or many negates, then bring out Borreload Savage Dragon for my insurance
Hey incase you didn't know revolver didn't play this duel to win, infact there were a few stages in the duel where revolver could've won easily, won of them being summoning bomber dragon for the insta win instead of zeroboros he played the duel so he can help soulburner and himself let go of the past that was burdening both of them.
Salamangreat’s vs rocketts I don’t think you could have a more competitive top duel this was the best duel of the the anime everything in this was perfection

Did anyone else find it hilarious Revolver was flexing the whole duel and had control? He could've simply left his field as is, summoned Autorokket not in a Link Zone, then next turn? He can use Autorokket to remove Kernel. Soulburner had nothing left on field or GY, and Revolver can Negate Burning Draw with Savage with Soulburner having no follow ups. Switching Chimera into defense only delays his defeat ... By 1 attack, vs 3 Ace Monsters.
When you realize Revolver could have easily FTK'd Soulburner, you realize he was never intent on winning. All he had to do was proc Borreload's effect on Sawnborrel, making Soulburner unable to use Geyser to 0 his battle damage (Since Borreload seals activations AND effects in response to it). And then bam, game over.
i also might be wrong on this but isnt it a misplay to banish everything with his topologic? he could of just negatived violet chimera's effect with savage dragon and soulburner would basically brick with burning draw

I don't know why soulburner didn't make balelynx turn 1, it'll protect heatleo from quadborrel but i assume it's to prevent revolver from stealing his heatleo? But revolver would've won either way
All he needed to do was summon trisbaena instead of Zeroboros. Autorokket would have been summoned, trisbaena would banish Kernel and Barrelsword, dealing 1000 damage and winning.

@@Asim-nm1bc Salamangreat Kernel has another effect that isn't mentioned, but it prevents the monster equipped with it from changing control too. Also I assume Revolver didn't have Bomber Dragon since he gave it to Pandor to duel Ai with.

The 2nd song hits really hard just based on the emotion of the duel in the 2nd half. That elevated the duel to another level.
