We went during the pandemic in 2020, and loved the emptiness of Banff, Canmore, Calgary and Jasper up north. There were no lines, and we went up the Banff Gondola right away! It was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend the town of Canmore near Banff. It's so beautiful in its own right. If you ever get the chance also visit the Okanagan Valley in BC, the lakes, the wineries, the warm climate and nice towns and cities (Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton, Osoyoos) are amazing.
    Loved your video! Thanks Emme.

Just came across your videos and it is interesting that we have lived the total opposite lives. I started in Toronto moved to Van then to Victoria then the UK. I am old enough to be your grandad so my experience in these places are vastly different than you do it is cool to see your perspective from a totally different generation and direction of travel. I will have to binge watch your videos 😁

I see you found out great used bookstore but you seemed to have missed the world famous new public library down the block. Most of the wood comes from BC. It's always amazing to me whenever I fly over BC just how much of it is unhabitable thanks to all the mountain ranges one after the other. Next time you come rent eskooters or ebikes and be amazed at all the bike paths EVERYWHERE, and the BowValley pathways downtown.

So glad you're back. I thought you might have stopped your you tube channel. What a beautiful part of the country. I think Calgary is better than people think it is.

Calgary was home for 36 years so this video brought back great memories. The corridor between Calgary and Banff has so much to see and do. You need a lot more time to do it justice.

You should have gone to Port Carling in the heart of Muskoka. Perhaps you would be changing your opinion.
