I'm just gonna say I was sad to see Yukimaru cry, but the ending ending was really nice. I just wish there were more romance scenes of them throughout the series. Yukimaru forever!! 😣💕
@@ShaulaXNinja The ones that come to mind: Poor Worldbuilding Plot holes and wasted storylines (Eden’s history, fear of Kei, Fena’s PTSD, the heart necklaces etc.) Waste of side characters (Tsubaki, Makaba, Karin and The Twins) The Lady Pirates were wasted villains. They Had unique designs and great character potential, but were killed off early with only the 3 survivors making a cameo in the finale without any explanation of how they’re still alive Fena being a damsel in distress (not living up to the potential she had of being the “Pirate Princess” of the title). Series is called Pirate Princess, but the only Pirate thing the main group did was finding lost treasure (which turned to be every missing historical treasure in just 1 spot) and fight the royal navy once on the island (the ship attack was mainly a rescue instead of an actual battle) Pacing

Another plot point that came up and was not at all explored the traveling the world to find Eden. Fena lived on an island for 10 years and then spent at most a few months sailing with Japanese pirates and that makes her qualified to decide if Eden should kill off most of humanity?
I knew that,one day that Fena KNEW had to share her emotions and feelings at Yukimaru and when the time is right,she will finally say"I Love You" because she KNOWS now,who is really Yukimaru,because Yukimaru ALWAYS cares for Fena!☠❤💝
Even if the story felt rushed and the show left me with a ton of questions I still loved it every step of the way and pray we get another season of the show and hope they make it longer
I'll admit that I was a little unsure about it at first, but this show is awesome! It's kinda like a cross between the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (at their best) and Seven Samurai. That's maybe not the most accurate comparison, but that's just what went through my head watching it.
When I started watching this I didn't expect I'd love it so much. It's almost scary how this anime is like a combination of everything I like in a story. I always looked forward to the next episode, wondering what would happen next. Thanks for producing such a fun and interesting show that brought me enjoyment every week. I still have many unanswered questions so I'm hoping to see a season 2!
This needed a bit more elaboration and development of the plot, would have been good to get a second season out of it, would have been great to see fena, yukimaru and the gang go on pirate adventures
The scene right next to this one reminded me so much of Homura beign separated from Madoka at the end of the anime, hell, it was the same composition, and with Yuki Kajiura nonetheless. It was almost a perfect recreation from that scene but with other characters
This series was great, and the animation was exceptionally beautiful. The story was coherent enough up until the final two episodes (and when Shitan was training Fena to fight, which is something that Fena never had to do). You would think that the secondary title "Pirate Princess" would mean that we would see her and the Goblin Knights be actual pirates, and instead we got a story that diverged into the supernatural. Then we have Cody, the Architect of Fenas story. Regardless, I hope we do get a season 2, so that we can watch Fena slowly regaining her memory.

Episode 11-12 felt like they skipped a lot of things … but I gotta love fena character I just hate how they didn’t include much detail. They even removed some stuff from the original trailer granted it was still under production and same time the pandemic hit so that might have been a reason why
Gosh this was so God damn gd to seee the characters are top notch altho it had a lot of confusing bits with all the maiden kind of situation but lord do I love this gorgeous art style and great character design specially the twins were my favorite and finally fena and yukimaru such an adorable coupla aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
I also thought it was weirdly convenient that the three of them survived. Also FYI during episode 3, I kinda thought the blonde pirate would be important, due to the fact she has a crush on Enju and or Kaede.
[SPOILER WARNING] We need a season 2 for 3 reasons: 1.) See if she really did get her memory back 2.) See the 7 samurai and Fena rewrite/avoid the possible fate Fena saw 3.) GET BACK HER WHITE HAIR
Well probably not get white hair because that would just damage the fact that she isn’t the same fena as the one with white hair (same person I know, just loss of memory) I also think it would be cute if yukimari and the other help her
If this show gets a second season, it'll be interesting to see if there's a group or family who rivals the 7 samurai. Or if there was a slight chance of Grace surviving the destruction of the Rumble Rose.
This series was good, but gosh it has a few too many glaring flaws. I was sold on an adventure anime and it billed itself very much like it until it kinda just... ended. Skipping the adventure right to the end. It's just, wrong.
Abel had more conviction. He was like "FUCK the calling, fuck aristocracy, Helena and I had something special and I'm not letting your bullshit keep us apart." He didnt really come off as a villain... He paid the pirates and they opened fire on him, the captain lost his senses and was actively deserting his post and was going to begin plundering the treasure... Yukimaru was some unknown guy on his boat trying to abscond with Fena... I donno man, feel like the Abel hate is reaching.
They coped out right at the ending. Built up this whole big sacrifice moment and then it didn't even really matter lol Even the best parts of this show just kind of sucked.
