Once a Skrull transitions into a human form it can excrete human blood also, by keeping the same DNA Intact while alive. It’s muscle memory for them at this point cause they have done so many transformations into our type as mammals. However once a Skrull is killed then the brain stops functioning and sends receptor signals to the body letting it know that nobody is in charge so they can bleed normally and die normally and revert.

Don't try to make any sense of this show. The plot is preposterous. But these two are great characters.

Because they were in the middle of a Parley, you know a CEASE FIRE an agreement to stop fighting a war for a period of time so that a permanent agreement can be made to end the war I.e. a truce.
