‘Show us your faces’: Andrew Bolt slams anonymous statement from Aboriginal leaders

- Sky News host Andrew Bolt has slammed the ‘Statement for our People and Country’ recently published and called on the Aboriginal leaders who allegedly wrote it to come forward.
Mr Bolt questioned why the statement is being taken seriously when the people who wrote it refuse to be named.
“Shame on the journalists who are treating this garbage stunt so seriously and now spreading this poison, acting like useful idiots instead of unmasking these muppets.
“They should be saying to the authors of this statement, ‘unless you put your name to this, it's not getting a run in my newspaper unless it’s back with the comics’.
“Show us your faces.”
I love Andrew Bolt!
👍😊
I don't agree with him about Tucker Carlson though. He hates him and puts him down.
Me too - so glad he stayed on - to fight.
ABONESE AND THE YES CAMP Should PAY back the MONEY THEY BLEW TO THE TAX PAYERS.! As MAYO said TIME TO PAY THE RENT.!!
Because they are bullies and they definitely showed their true colours during the campaign. Shameful
Are we talking the leaders or the people? Cause a lot of us have moved on already. A lot of us Aboriginals were never in agreement of the voice
That letter just goes to show what a bunch of tossers they are and how lucky we were to dodge a bullet.
The WEF must be furious
They will get the WHO Treaty. Australians don't get a say about that. Politicians will put it through
I think Albo should say sorry for putting us all through this voice thing. I feel his apology should also include cutting everyone's PayG tax rates in half at a minimum!!
He should resign too.

TOGETHER we stand, DIVIDED we fall.
Halt all funding until we get the receipts!
I thought The West Australian & Sunday Times will NOT publish anything from anyone who does not provide his/her full name, address and phone number? How does it get printed then if there's no name, unless the media is biased.
Good point!
We know who write it , Noel, and his cronies .
It's time the Yes camp stopped crying into their pretzels. It's time to have a Royal Commission into where the money has gone and why the gap hasn't been closed. No Australian begrudges improving the life of indigenous Australians, but make sure what is being done is effective and done hand in hand with the communities that need it.
Then there might be some money left over to help the other marginalised Australians who are homeless, etc.
A royal commission is useless. We need politicians who will run on it as part of their election and who know there are enough Australians angry about it they'll win if they chase the issue. The problem is, too many Australians are complacent and don't care so it's forgotten about
they are propably the ones who get to much funding and are afraid of losing it thats why they dont put their name to it
A few would take them to court
Who cares. If private citizens want to set up a lobby group, go for it. There are lots of lobby groups. As long as it’s not tax payer funded, why should we care any more about this than the Australian Christian Lobby or any other absurd group?
They are all taxpayer funded .
@@stewatparkpark2933 if you mean indigenous Australians generally, then Jacinta price and Dutton should have supported removing the race based provision in the constitution, but they didn’t.

You're right on the money Mr Bolt. Until we know the name(s) of these anonymous authors (or is it just one author) the statement should have nil credibility. How do we know it wasn't just one disgruntled Yes voter purporting to be a group of "leaders"?

Just mention that the No vote was led by two indigenous people such as Jacinta Price & Warren Mundine. So the Indigenous vote prevails.
The NO Voters essentially voted for the continuation of the status quo, where funds are being misdirected and persons loathed by so many remain in place. The blacks have no VOICE to make the changes needed. Many want and are content to leave it to saviours of the Aboriginal race like Jacinta Price and Warren Mundine. I am a white male, 68 years old and born and bred here I am disgusted but what you wrote. The land you say is yours was taken from other people that can not be denied by anyone. Since that time we have done our utmost to eradicate them as a people, as a culture, and as humans. The problems that plague their communities are caused by us both now and in the past. And now you say the land we stole from them is not theirs as well even though they are Australian citizens. Your lack of education proceeds you.
@@frasercrone3838 - no one said the land wasn't belonging to all Australians (including the Aborigines). What Australia & Australian's are sick of is this Aboriginal Activist crap, who think, today's everyday Australian's who them something.
Aboriginal activists who are only looking after their own pockets & "NOT" giving a hoot for the plight of the small portion of actual disadvantaged Aboriginals, in the remote communities.
The majority of problems inflicting the Aboriginal communities are self inflicted - it is the Aboriginals themselves, who are the ones raping & sexually abusing their own, babies, young children, teenagers. Family violence and abuse of their own women, self inflicted drug & alcohol abuse, allowing their kids to run the streets, out of control, not ensuring that they are feed & educated. No self respect or respect for others, commiting crimes - all of that is not the fault of other Australians - we are not their keepers.
They are adults, should be responsible adults, we are not pouring alcohol down their throats, we are not shooting them up on drugs, forcing them to rape & abuse their families... etc... these are all self inflicted choices, they make....
Don’t throw blame on innocent people who have nothing to do with the atrocities, Aboriginals inflicted on themselves.
Australians are willing to help the disadvantaged but we are not responsible for Aboriginals, who will not help themselves or who make poor life choices.
Just like you and I, have had to make responsible choices to remain law abiding citizens, who look out for & care for our family, friends, others & ensure are kids get an education, work for a living & earn a wage to support themselves & their families - there is "NO" reason, no reason at all, why our indigenous communities should not be doing the same.
They have the same responsibilities, rights & opportunities as every other Australian - it is the choices they make, which makes the difference. Which will close the gap.

There is no time or reason to celebrate the "win" by the side for NO TO DIVISION BY RACE because the tragically sad fact remains that about 1/3 of Australians thought it was a SUPER IDEA! Not an acceptable or maybe a good idea, because you must think it is a great or bloody terrific super idea to divide our country by race for eternity to actually trott along and cast a YES vote. They did not listen to the slogan "If don't know, vote NO" because they were convinced that it was a jolly terrific super idea to become a constitutional racist country. In 1967 Australia was asked to vote to remove racism from the constitution, and in 2023 Australia was asked to vote to insert racism in the constitution. Now we know how the majority of Australians think. On all levels of the society, we should stay together as one. NO VOTERS (happy or feeble...) have no regrets post-referendum, but most YESMEN and women must for the most part live in profound shame for their historical race division support. So I am assuming that the sweet & charming Lydia is a good candidate for publishing the letter even though she actually campaigned against the Voice to Parliament or possibly she might even be getting set up by the Mayo Cartel, fun times & games heading our way Australia 🤦♂️
Bring it on Lydia. 200 nationalities versus Aboriginals. How can they fund a war when they depend on colonisers and cannot even control their remote towns? Lydia has rocks in her head. Bring it on. Will be fun to watch from afar
Refused to be named because it was written by some office worker in Davos Switzerland. A WEF empoyee.
If people are going to make these statements, one should stand by their convictions, have integrity and put your name on it, absolute cowards IMO
It's not racist to ask for all Australians to be treated equally and now we expect our Government to make the Indigenous agencies accountable for the money that is given to them to help improve their lives, instead of the taxpayers money going into the pockets of the elite few , that are supposed to be helping others in remote communities close the gap. We are all Australians, regardless of race or colour and No means No..
more like closing the gap in the elitists wallets with more money.
You could give every single aboriginal in remote areas a 100,000 a year and they would still be in poverty. People don't understand what is happening there
@@chrispekel5709Correct. Go to Ceduna South Australia and see 860 Aboriginals have approximately 70 agencies(all Aboriginal staff) looking after their needs.
Go to the outback settlements and they are lucky to have more than 1 or 2 agencies caring for their needs.
WHY such a large disparity?
Go to any capital city and see the plethora of agencies. It is disgraceful that those with facilities etc at their doorstep get specific agencies for them whilst remote communities are virtually ignored by all the organisations funded to look after Aboriginals. The amount of wastage with several agencies actually competing for customers whilst those with little or no services get ignored.
With Langton, Pearson and Burney each worth personally in excess of $ 5 million each, some people have done very well …… and delivered no result for marginalized communities …. So no more power or $$$$ for them until every entity opens its books for financial auditing and we work out who is benefitting from the $ 38 billion…….
@@peonypink9149 You just detailed where the money goes. Certain Aboriginal Elites and their families/clans people do very well whilst those without an Elite in their clan etc get sweet FA.
Go to Cape York and it is easy to see where $550+million has gone. All Pearsons family are doing very well off taxpayer funded work.
Go look at all the older Elites that were in ATSIC etc and all are well off with properties etc around Australia and other investments well in excess of all the earnings they received. Amazing they all multiplied their incomes by some nice factors whilst having control of the public purse spent on Aboriginals.
It is not rocket science where the monies went and why Labor/Greens/Teals/Aboriginal Elites/Activists etc do not want audits done.
Everyone associated with the Aboriginal Industry over the last 50 years should have all assets etc investigated and every current organisation/agency/land council etc should have to justify why they get Federal/State funding yearly.
Any that cannot show results commensurate with the funding received should lose future funding. New Funding should only be granted once results warrant it.
Seems Australia is yet again a country of 97 % convicts - great job Albo
I suggest all the yes voters move to the A.C.T. then we can fence it off and they can do a all the voices they want , then they can rule only the states that said yes.. and leave the rest of Australia to get on with more important things like cost of living..
Could someone please clarify how they signed an anonymous statement. 😂😂😂
They probably had an aid draw it up who was called Anon Y Mous.
X
You will find that it came from the ABC, as they ran the biggest yes campaign, and there is a Senate committee enquiry on the ABC this week 😊😅😂,
Could it be THE IT-a leading the ABC , SBS, Nitv agenda of Anonymity?🤔🤔
It was funny seeing 80% of their articles focused on the positive changes the voice would bring, majority of interviews with pro-voice campaigners etc. To be fair there's been a couple of good articles by 'yes' academics who have explained why they lost, and there's no malice in it
@@chrispekel5709 did you watch the ABC coverage of the referendum?
They were all yes campaigners, until the results came in 😭 then the dummy spitting started 😁
Andrew, the "journalists" are fellow travellers. They'll never let this die until they do. Otherwise, they're living a lie.
Also it's like covid, a good story. They like long running stories.
Keep going Andrew. Continue fighting nonsense please.
Noel Pearson would be behind it if there is a coin to be made.
only one question then "How big is the coin."
How do we know it wasn't written by Albo?
Because it wasn't written in crayon with lots of spelling mistakes?
😆 It didn't also have a recording saying I am Antony Albawese and I was bwought up in pwublic wousing
😂👍
UNACCOUNTABILITY- It’s just a constant in these peoples lives. Fancy not backing up this anonymous statement with a name(s). Ahhh, Tantrumgate.
That they wont put their name to it is hilarious.
Sick of this flag 🇧🇪🤮
Just like brexit they hate it and I love it 👍🤡
Throughout human history, the face of the entire world has always been changing: its ethnic groups, countries, borders, etc. Many of these changes have been unjust as they resulted from conflicts, violence, local and world wars, and crimes against humanity. We need to constantly learn from our history that not to create new injustices. One of such lessons suggests that we must not attempt to heal committed injustices by new injustices. Our history shows that any attempt to reverse established historical reality turns into injustice. In case of our country Australia, it is not possible to heal historical wounds of Indigenous people by giving them a special constitutional status and rights, or even 'sovereignty'. More than 26 millions Australians should not be discriminated compared to less than a million Indigenous people. We need to find just and really democratic ways of efficiently addressing their issues. Injustice cannot be healed by injustice!
With full respect to Indigenous people and regrets of what happened to them in the colonial past, we all still have to realize that the historical reality is that Australian nation consists now of people from many ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The Indigenous people group is not the biggest one and not the one, which made the biggest contribution into creating of modern Australia. Anyway, regardless of that, under no circumstances it is a good idea to try to reverse history, as it would mean racism and discrimination towards majority of people in Australia, which are not responsible at all for our colonial past. We need to strongly condemn colonial crimes and atrocities but accept historical reality and have really democratic society, where we all should be absolutely equal in our rights. No one, including Indigenous people, should have any special privileges regardless of their background and history. It is why I am against Voice and any specific ethnic and/or racial 'treaties' but strongly for really democratic Australian republic where every person would be absolutely equal in their constitutional rights.
Great comment.👍
I was in agreement with you up until your last couple of sentences. The Voice would not have taken anyway anybody else’s rights away, but would have given some tangible means of tackling the very issues you spoke about in the beginning of your comment.
While I respectfully disagree, I am grateful that you opened up this dialogue in a respectful manner. I just wish the news reporters would go about discussing this business with the same maturity as you displayed. 😊
💯✅🙂
No Republic never
@@raymondteodosbandlabvlog1676 Thank you. I think disagreements should not be a reason for confrontation, but, rather, for thinking together.
Some people were busy during the “weak of mourning”…….
Plausible deniability - that’s why it has no author. It is mere kite flying to gauge the public mood that will sink like a stone. Anyone identified would be instantly discredited for the rest of their lives and accordingly have no future part in the national discourse. The overall threatening tone of the statement may or may not reflect true Aboriginal culture, but it is an approach and methodology that all Australians will reject
I was watching the point tonight don't normally watch it, all yes people on the panel it was like they were at a funeral,
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Poor Sookies are still in denial and still behaving in a non transparent, cowardly way
It should be time for these people to move forward and get on with their life. We can’t solve the problem because of so many different tribes, leaders and elders who only look after themselves and take advantage of the money allocated to the aboriginal people. They should stop calling themselves indigenous instead of Australian.
You just worked that out. Gutless or trying to insite racial riots, these people should bee tracked down and arrested.
Arrested for having stupid opinions? Come on, you know that's a bad idea. Next you'll be arrested because someone didn't like what you said
It’ll never start a riot buddy, relaxxx. I’m Aboriginal and nobody I know talks crazy like that. Stop being paranoid
Is just a few white guys from a inner city coffee shop...
