The one thing I didnt like about GTA 5 was the country side was so empty, this at least adds small towns in between and would be a welcome addition if Rockstar does this

@@gregmayled it could've had a couple more small towns in between and maybe if the highway wasn't a big circle it could've been somewhat better. I just wish it had a bit more variety in the country side of the map
One of my favourite things about San Andres was that they condensed the map to encompass multiple cities. If they can include areas inspired by Panama City, Orlando, Daytona, Key West & then parts of Cuba in those south eastern islands that would be amazing.
That actually sounds a lot better than making the map bigger. The SA map wasn't big to any degree but it felt bIg because it had so much detail, and certain areas of the map felt different. I honestly wouldn't mind the same for GTA 6

Ya, it seems to be what they are doing! Or plan too.. They had big plans for 5! Much like this.. But they dropped em do to GTA Online..
They just need to the whole of Florida with Vice City bring the focus area. 1 city concept maps are outdated now. 9-10 years in the making with a multi-billion dollar budget, I hope we get 4 cities (Miami, Orlando, Tampa, & Key West) and the Everglades.

What would be interesting is If they do add something similar to the Bermuda Triangle you could explore the oceans in a submarine and discovery different interesting things on the ocean floor.

If we get a map twice bigger but more detailed I am happy. Less than that would be disappointing.

A leaker said that It'll be bigger than gta 5 and rdr2 combined. New locations will be added with online dlcs
An idea that I've been seeing that I would love to see in the game world is the Map having one Los Santos sized city with with two smaller cities at opposite ends with an occasional small town sprinkled in-between. Sometimes like this would definitely feel great to explore and be fun to mess around with other players.
@@beatzis1195 RDR2’s map is smaller than GTA V’s, so not a wish I would make honestly. It feels grander because the game has horses which cannot go as fast as a supercar or a jet, that’s why it feels bigger. Also I would add the fact that RDR’s maps are always landlocked and they depict various states. That helps to trick the mind into thinking that the map is broader than it actually is.
The map itself might not look like this, but the placement of the city, towns and the swamp land areas could be accurate. That being said, with the way this map looks, Rockstar might be trying to get us to focus on using boats more than we do in gta V, with all those islands and bays and what not. I hope we'll be able to fish, because this seems like it'd be a good opportunity to put fishing into gta, especially by the swamps
actual sailing would be great, not just a motorboat with decorative sails

@@beyondthestars4299 i would suggest you improve your listening skills. This is a map based off the coordinates in the leaks. "Based off" being key word, keep in mind this game is still in development and things might subject to change. Everything you see is not from rockstar. Just clever minds who came together to have fun based off the leaks.

ifkr reminds me of towns in RDR, now i'm seeing in it as best of both worlds (RDR and GTA) now both in GTA6
I just recently played through GTA5 and it still feels like a massive map when you’re playing it but looking at the map you showed (8:35) it looks tiny. I think the GTA6 map is going to feel almost endless when you’re actually playing
i personally would like more accessible interior spaces, id even take a map of similar size to the past if we could just go in everywhere.
That would make the map bigger without actually making the map bigger lol. It would open up so much space for players and there would be so much more to do

I like the Bermuda triangle idea too. Imagine colossal squids or a rare ghost pirate ship. I feel like they will do a lot with the forest/swamp parts, like boating or something.
reminds me of how GTAV does has detailed underwater content, hope they utilized that in GTA6

I wonder if there will be just ocean beyond the map border or land like in rdr2. I'm all in for map updates over time.
They should make it half endless land and half enless ocean. And the land is just constant mountains and plain areas that’s auto generated and stretches on forever

Okay, so, Ambrosia looks to be Orlando, with its access to the theme park and it being in the center of Florida. Gelhorne and St. Joseph are obviously Tampa Bay and St. Petersberg. The area south has to be based off of Fort Meyers. If you look at the map of Florida, Jacksonville has a split of water, so Sundown looks to be a good Jacksonville, unless Copperhead is Jacksonville and Sundown is St. Augustine. Leonida is obviously Lake Okeechobee. Keys are obvious keys, and of course, Miami is Vice City. Hamlet looks to be Homestead. Grassrivers is obviously the Everglades.
This is oversimplification from looking at a low rez Florida map with the major cities, and looking at this made GTA6 map. I'm probably wrong, but if you look at them, they look to be what I described.
Redhill could possibly be Ocala too? And from the environment and location i think Yorktown is based on either Dothan, Alabama or Valdosta, Georgia
Can you imagine how cool it would be if Rockstar did like a slasher/survival mode set in the everglades? That could be so atmospheric.

@@amante104 not really. The game would need to be able to have a lot of content added. Gta 5 on last Gen runs at 15 fps in most full lobbies. A bigger map means more opportunities and more content to fill the space of the map especially online. There is no telling hoe much content there already is in the game other than the map. And also this is a rough speculative version of the map. I could be even bigger. Wait for the game to come out before you make a dumb take.

My favorite thing to do is off-roading and cars/trucks. As long as they do a decent job when it comes to that stuff I’m good. Definitely love the idea of a drag strip that way we don’t have to race at airports anymore

It really seems like as far as the map and mechanics go we’re gonna be getting a mix of rdr2 and gta which is an instant buy from me.
Can't wait to see GTA 6's depiction of Brickell / Downtown Miami, especially at night. Also South Beach and Ocean Drive. And some of those fabulous Miami nightclubs!!!
Regarding city ideas for future GTA titles if there will be any after 6 (which I doubt) we're already getting Vice City which means London is due at some point. And since most of their games like GTA, RDR, and Manhunt are connected the more cities they think of (past/future) we're going to expect it. Cities like Carcer City, San Fierro, Las Venturas, Saint-Denis
GTA 7 will not happen until 2036

Size of the city ain't the biggest problem. I agree that personally I'd rather the city to be a lot smaller, but at the same time, look at gta iv. It was smaller than 5, had no countryside, BUT, it felt like it was more immersive with alot going on in it, and that's a potential problem with this new map, that it could be bigger but lacks details to keep it entertaining and enjoyable

@@jenniferstevenson6331 we don't know that though. All we can do is just assume the size based off of these estimated drawings. For all we know the city could be just slightly bigger than gta 5, or twice as big. We just won't know until it's all confirmed

This may not be as accurate as you think but I do hope it is as big as it is shown here. I also wonder if rockstar will take a turn by having more enterable interiors and more places for combat like they had in GTA IV.
The only thing I dislike about these concepts is that the upper-part of the map looks flat-shaped. I hope Rockstar makes it look more natural and realistic.
Looks good although they could make it bigger I think making the map more interactive is a good priority as well
Why the map have to be bigger if they aren't gonna get that many players? Plus, it would take too long to get to your friends, like big isn't always good.
It will be cool if they add a gameplay like the mercenaries game, where you have different factions hiring you for diferent jobs but need to use strategy so others factions don't find out and refuse to hire you also or turn on you etc...
More tactics and no so much random shooting and exploding.
It will be very interesting if they add subway or sewer levels.
I like the idea of having separate islands. I hope you can buy apartments or ceos on them
no matter what the final map turns out like, i really hope they nail the rural areas. don't get me wrong, a lot of florida's cities would be really cool to see brought to life in gta6, but as a florida resident, i know firsthand that there's a lot of really cool, really weird stuff once you get out into the swamps and brush of inland florida if you just take the time to look for it, and if it's that wild out there in real life, i'd love to see what rockstar does with it. like, you drive 15 minutes out of city limits in florida and it goes from all new concrete buildings and corporate hell architecture to biker gangs riding through swampland, old dilapidated buildings, and really weird and cool roadside attractions. there's a lot of room for potential content. i love it so much and hope it's done justice here.

We’re going to need some glades and those fan boats. Gators pythons iguanas. Maybe do some ad hoc raids on some back country shiner or meth huts. Rdr 2 creeping in slightly.

Lake Leonida- Lake Okeechobee
Ambrosia- Orlando
Fairyland- Disney World
St. Joseph Marina- St. Petersburg
Gelhorn Race Track- Daytona Speedway
Sundown- Cape Canaveral
You and this vid made it so much more interesting to me to keep an eye open for VI.
I hope there will be more activities to do

The theme park is the most exciting. Also, alligators seem like a non-brainer for a Florida map.
great location for a satirical commentary of a game, and a great place for both worlds of RDR2 (biomes), GTAV cityscape (vice city), and back to og crime/gangster narrative of GTAVC in one game 👏👏👏

In port gelhorn at night, you’ll see people walking on the beach with their phone lights on huntin for crabs lol. There’ll be fireworks everynight when youre at the beach and you’ll be able to see them down the coast just like real life i hope

i like how the vice city map has a lot of water sources inside the map while in V Its only around the map and the lake and the reservoir.
The map of GTA San Andreas felt way bigger than that of GTA V despite being much smaller. Maybe I'm just nostalgic but i hope they can recreate that feeling with GTA VI.

Sounds good to me. I hope they do the ocean differently. Even going slow in gta5, it's rough. I was still sad that we never got that "naval" dlc that we were expecting.
In my opinion map size is not everything, adding detail to make even the online and story aspect of the game as simple as things like people on busses, peds walking a dog and so on. even though we may already see things like this in gta5 story mode i feel like rockstar could definitely take this a step further. with new DLC's we get new cars you may see a pedestrian driving a new vehicle around. and possibly expanding the dialogue for key characters in story mode and online, to keep the game feeling fresh and new, even after doing a hiest 3 or 4 times in a row, hearing a character saying the same line over and over gets very repetive, and gets old very quickly. also maybe eating and drinking stuff other than snacks and beer, unlike some previous gta games were you could eat an actual meal. adding things like fishing would give players an actual reason to do things like drive boats and keep people who like that adventurous aspect of the game busy, whats the point of making a site for buying boats if the majority of people are doing things in the city?
Added side note the very southern tip of the keys where it goes down to just floating Bridges there is a military prison what's known as Pirate Island it is a military prison it is real took them Food Supplies years ago

I'm hoping for something like legendary animals like in rdr2 story mode in gta6 and different clothing items you can make from selling their pelts to a poacher to make things like a snake skin or alligator skin jacket, boots, or to mount in your house like the hunting lodges in cotw

Sometimes I like endulging myself in these GTA VI videos because it reminds me of the excitement that I have for this game, even if I know that this is all speculation.
I was thinking it would be so cool to have an airboat to drive around the swamp area.
I hope this is the map we get including the islands with the Bermuda Triangle
I'd like for those islands to be included. When playing GTA V, I'd be in the plane thinking it would be great if there were a place to fly TO. I'd love to be able to fly to a little island town and get into some mischief then fly back to the city for other mischief. I'd like to have a reason to have my planes other than terrorizing townies.
Racetrack is based off sebring. In this concept map, it only has half the track

I can believe look like this, but their version of miami for the HD verse based on the leaks has hills, I never seen mountains in here in South Florida or North Florida, and I'm from Miami too.

If this is an accurate interpretation of the leaked map, I mean i'm not mad at the map but I hope they really focus on the map outside of Vice City as GTA 5 felt small because most of the game was cornered in a portion of the map. A little worried about all the empty space in the middle too but if thats rockstars way of hinting this generation of the series will feature map changes besides a few building getting fleshed out into features like the casino heist... then I have nothing to worry about.
Yes, the map isn’t going to be 5-10 times bigger than gta 5’s map (I know you said that) but there are going to be add on maps for the game. I think someone said there going to put liberty city in one of them.
Homestead is the actual town below Miami, and it leads straight to the keys, so seems accurate

More weather, tornado, hurricanes, flooding, etc. Never seen that. Can break anything, cut down trees. Upgrades to cars, engine swap, big tires, lifts. Option to be cops, or get cops cars and tune them

GTA VI Scares me, not that I'm scared it wont be good, but that I'm scared it wont live up to GTA V, its one of my favorite games to this day, 11 years after release.
I think the map is going to be awesome basically represents entire South Florida from Orlando down although it doesn't have the vast size City lake Orlando is but it's really spread out up there so they pretty much got it right the main focus of it is in Miami or vice City plus they have the keys and the Bahamian Islands in there I think that's badass they went above and beyond of all the lore that is in Florida I live in South Florida and I know exactly what they're talkin about I know what everything is represented as and I can't wait for this game to come out it'll be like playing in my own home
