As someone born at the height of the Vietnam war, with my mom & grandmother on the run... with my dad & thousands of his hill tribe folks ---- carrying nothing but a simple WW4 M1 given to them by the US/CIA --- trying to blunt & to block, in vain, waves of invading North Vietnamese Communist into my birth country.... these imagines are really hard to watch and heartbreaking....

Look at that beautiful “clump of cells” how come nbc considers this a baby all of a sudden. I mean the mother was pregnant when she was killed. They literally had to extract the clump of cells from her body. So when the mother dies we must save the baby, ok got it. Because you’ve been telling us the opposite for a long time.
Sabreen weighed 1.4kg when she was delivered via c-section from her (murdered) mom. A fetus doesn’t start weighing close to this much until the end of their 2nd trimester. Furthermore, it’s very unlikely she was younger than 22-24 weeks along since very few (almost none) preterm births can survive any birthing process less than 24 weeks into the pregnancy. The embryonic stage lasts from weeks 3-8. The first two weeks of pregnancy are the germinal stage.
What point are you trying to make here? Shouldn’t we all be focusing on the fact that this is yet another horrific example of the genocide that Palestinians are facing from Israel and its allies (including the U.S., Canada, Italy, etc.)?

Awe, this is wonderful and very sad at the same time! There is so much malnutrition in Gaza, I hope they can find formula and have clean water (which is unlikely) for this beautiful baby. Hopefully they will be able to hold her, she needs that touch too. End the occupation! Free Palestine's people and keep them safe!
