As a kid, I used to get so irritated by my grandmother screaming and yelling for Jesus every morning. But because of the prayers of my grandmother, none of my siblings and I were separated by children protective services when my mother went to prison. None of my siblings were strung out on drugs. None of my siblings have been to jail or are in jail. All of my siblings and I have confessed that Jesus is LORD.
So if I hear someone calling out for Jesus, I’m reminded of the prayers of my grandmother. That lady could have been easily crying out for a love one. And in anguish she could contain it.
So is it now that if we call on Jesus, it is to be done a certain way?
And so what if every service you hear doing the same thing - shoutin and crying out loud. At least you can say that when she comes to church, she’s actually seeking the lord compared to folks like the church goers in the comments who bashed her. They were paying more attention to her than to the flow of the Holy Spirit.
Say that 👏🏾 Amen. Also, if it's an issue did you sit down with her to have a one on one conversation with her & pray with her? 🤔
I left the church a long time ago, it's not like it used to be in the old praise and praying times, is more now about recordings and social media. I have church at home and have a good time on Sunday!❤

Sometimes, you just know what you're dealing with. I have seen people that do what she did plus more. They seek attention. It's distracting and (in some cases) out of order. He is the pastor and is the authority over maintaining order and disipline. People just don't like or aren't used to correction. They get offended.

Usually they have ushers to escort people out of the church to take them to a prayer room or something; also the 1st time she did they could have called on the elders to pray 🙏 for her or minster to her,,,,,,,( and pull her to the side) also he is very young so he doesn't know how the older pastors use to do it,,,, because it happens

Lord the Black Church doesn't know what Lamentations is anymore, smh. Back in the day this type of crying out during praise and worship used to be normal, heck I grew up in a Church with people like this who would break out in praise, worship, or wailing during a particular part of service...every Sunday, but that used to be so fundamental to our Church culture. Now that Black Churches are mimicking the way the clear people do Church where the spirit can only move during the scheduled time we've lost the only place where we had true freedom.
If Pastor Henderson really felt that she had a problem or some type of spirit on her he should have been called the Elders and prayer warriors of the Church to Pray over her. Prayer still changes things.
Guess I can’t go to his church because I am a lame for, especially when I am being delivered from something that has been heavy in my heart and spirit.

If he was a serious Man of God he would have given his command "in the name of Jesus" while looking at her dead in her face. You can't command or cast out a thing with your back turned to the person.

It just depends with the annointing that is upon the pastor so yes you can cast out a demon without looking at the person. There’s a man of God from Africa called Apostle Joshua Selman. Demons will be wailing and bellowing while he’s at the pulpit preaching not even praying for people just normal speaking and demons will be manifesting because of the anointing resting on him.

My Pastor has done this before, he was counselling a woman who was with her daughter in the car and the daughter started manifesting and the Holy Spirit told him what to do to cast out that devil. Jesus did not need to go to the centurion’s house to heal he’s servant. He just exercised his authority and that was it.

I meant it’s a time and place for that. The Holy Ghost will lead you when to speak, sing 🎶 or prophesy. It has to be done in order. She’s was possibly being used by the enemy to distract the service and the Man of God. We have to stop being so judgmental there has to be order in the house of God for the spirit of the Lord to flow.

Also at any old church or mine I will leave out the sanctuary because once I’m in that space of intimacy with God there isn’t a timeframe. However, my old pastor, Pastor Clarence Moore told me not to leave out of the sanctuary beca that’s where the anointing, healing, breakthroughs, blessings, and etc are at. I am a natural worshipper too. Also, some people may not understand when you are ministering you are getting bless as well as the audience.

There was a woman in my church that was filled with the Holy Ghost every Sunday and chanted fake or not we never policed her behaviour. Especially in public. He should have spoken to her outside of Church.

Keon first mistake was saying the only voice he wants to hear is God??? It’s not about you sir, it’s about the body of Christ, the church. I am a worshipper and a choir member and as I am ministering I am receiving the overflow too. Just because she stopped because he said so is a form of order even though I feel he was out of order. The man can’t control the Spirt. So again his first mistake was saying the only voice he wants to hear is God. I get overfilled every Sunday rather I’m in the choir ministering or in the audience. That doesn’t mean she’s going through again. It could be her way of worshipping.

If he feels she is acting up then that's an evil spirit being disruptive. And evil spirits can get cast out if the presence of the Lord is there and strong. They should have done prayed over here and driven out that spirit of disruption. The fact that they can't deal with it means they not in the spirit either.

He’s spoken to her in private, had other ministers to speak with her, and has tried everything that everyone has already suggested. He said as a pastor he can differentiate between deliverance and distraction. He said she does this pretty much every Sunday. He was on par with what I saw a lot of people say about her in the comments that she performs this way every Sunday. I saw it on IG today. I understood what he was saying. Don’t shoot the messenger. I’m only answering what was asked. I do agree with what he said today.

I feel if he has been dealing with this for four years, then there should be some solution in place other than going to the extent he did be snapping his finger, saying get her out of here, so forth. I heard this man say in a sermon while I was sitting there in the church, he said “ your emergency is not my emergency if your son daughter or mother is dead at three in the morning. They will be dead at nine in the morning when I get there I felt like this was very insensitive. But it’s amazing to me how people hear such arrogance and say hallelujah. Amen. I'm sure he has a ministry team that could have gone and ministered to her. I've noticed now that services are live-streamed the spirit move is quenched to fit a timer and to look a certain way. This breaks my heart and I'm praying this lady got her breakthrough.

This is the Pastor and he did what he had to do as a leader. Old school church mother's would of handle it before the Pastor had to. Church has changed so much.

If you watch his interview on The Tamron Hall show you would know that he’s had this issue with her for four years to no avail, and has supposedly had multiple conversations with her. Also, if the Pastor discerns a spirit is using her to interrupt the service why is he not permitted to address it. God is a God of order.

The problem is that pastors and others are trying to police a person's praise for God. That is NOT their job nor is it their job to pass judgement on another's relationship with God. I'll end this with saying how I didn't learn hypocrisy from my family. I learned hypocrisy from the church...💯💯💯

Wow.. Even if she’s been doing this for 15 yrs she’s in the house of the lord NOT HIS!!!!! Not to mention she’s probably one of his biggest tithers and loyal active member…this literally makes me what to throw up… I left the church a long time ago and before anyone @ me I left the church not God. I will say the church I belonged to most certainly would have reacted differently. If she was hollering that way the ushers/ members/ sisters would have gathered around her touched, prayed and covered her. I don’t care what part of the church she was in, If she hollered like this every Sunday then guess what EVERY Sunday that is what they would have done…. The church is a place of healing and worship. For him to hush her like that shows his own spirit! He better hope when he cry out (and oh yes he will) that God and others will hear and cover him…. He’s terrible for that. People always come up with this tithing business. When you tithe do you do it expecting blessings from the Pastor, is he the one who opens up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing for you?. Giving esp in the New Testament is cheerfully and as you are led . You do it because you want to and as God puts it in your heart. Nobody is held at gun point to give and tithe. So she should do whatever she wants because she tithes?. If all 500 members of a church demand to do what they want because they tithe will there be order in that church.?
But who is he or his the people in his church to say that woman isn’t in the spirit? There is a woman at my church who does the same sounding scream every single Sunday and has been for years. My pastor has never spoken to her like that. I’m sorry sometimes the people of the church will follow up these pastors no matter what even if they are dead wrong.We also use to have a woman running around the church almost every Sunday for years but she doesn’t do that anymore. This justification of him hushing this woman makes him come off as very arrogant. In my opinion he handled that poorly if he was going to address that woman it should not been in the manner he did it in.
He could have had ushers on standby, that they could escort her out. He was disrespectful in church. Back in the days the ushers would bring a person out and stay with them until they were better. She was getting on his nerves so he wasn’t in the spirit either.
That’s how I remember it from my grandmother’s days.
