Great build! Little tip on though; There's a lot of silence, and I feel the video itself could do with more talking! For example, when step one started, instead of just going "Step 1 is the foundation", maybe explaining why and what you're doing could help make it feel a little less awkward? Idk, just a small nitpick, other than that I really enjoyed the video! A lot of the silence could've been quenched with explaining your thought process for example

When designing a house from scratch, how do you measure to account for the roof? I've tried my hand at making a rather large building to house various crafting machines, but despite the base being a symmetrical rectangle, the shape didn't allow for the top pieces of the roof to fit.
Its very pretty but a starter base should rather be more functional - you would need more machinery and a WAY bigger storageroom, cause you can never have enough ressources! But overall really nice build!
Finally. I've been searching for easy builds in survival mode because I wanted my builds to be custom and not premade like in the game. Thank you.

The roof pieces are weird, I recommend placing a wall or two and the doing the roof to make sure it works. Them place all you walls
