my take: physics are much better. stopping the bike is better even if it feels a little heavier. but it surely is rewarding if you hit the apex. curbs are eventually fixed. also while accelerating, the bike does not cut power like previous game. it is better overall physics. graphic wise, i would say just as good. much better representation for riders though. split screen is awesome addition. i can play with my gf and have some fun. 2009 season is amazing as well. very very disappointed that the bikes and liveries and 2021 season.. very underwhelmed by the fact it is not even mention by milestone and they did not even state an update road map or at least a heads up to when we ill receive the 2022 bikes..
I don't know what some people are playing. On the PS5 this is the greatest improvement ever. The bikes finally handle as a real motorcycle. Also the HDR finally is bright. The sounds are much aggressive and louder. Love those pops. The sound if the bikes needs to have more bass/lower frequencies. The braking of the bikes is perfect. I can finally place the bike were I need to just as in the real world. The sensitivity of the PS5 is perfect. No need to be messing with it anymore to get a mediocre braking input. Also the vibration is stronger, which helps a lot when riding. The rear of the bikes feels heavier and more grounded. The bikes are easy to throw to one side or the other just as a real sportbike should. The riders animation when turning seems a little bit more realistic although it could be more aggressive, more hanging on the bike. The sense of speed is also much, much better. The only game that has great physics besides now motogp 22 is Rims, but that game looks horrible. I hope Milestone doesn't change anything on the physics just to accommodate haters and ignorance. This is how motorcycles feel. People that don't like it can go back to the crappy physics of MotoGP any-year. I will be playing this game for hours. It is addicting just after a few minutes of playing it, just as a motorcycle is addictive.
I wasn't going to bother getting on PS5 after this video but after reading your comments I think I'll get it. The last one I played was 20 and it sounds like it's a great leap from that version.
You are literally a typical ps5 user, you saying as if previous instalments had bad physics. I play on ps5 as well and its improved on a little amount because the previous installments since 19’s engine is still being used. Don't talk like moto gp 21 played like a decade old moto gp game
The game is basically a regurgitated copy and paste of previous titles with features that have either been chopped or brought back and branded as "new", which we all know are not new. Milestone did something similar back in 2016 with "Valentino Rossi - The Game" where you could relive moments of his career, 2009 is and will be just the same as that but with focus on the 2009 season. Milestone are repeat offenders for bringing out a new game and the only new elements are updated menu's, loading screens, HUD menu's for the bikes and the liveries for riders and team. However, you'll be lucky to have the lastest bikes/liveries on day 1 as Milestone are repeat offenders for releasing their games which have unfinished features. The current game is missing some 2022 bike liveries which is truly shocking. There will be an unprecedented amount of bugs which will have featured in previous titles which will have either been fixed or left, yet somehow make their way into the newest titles. Why do we as consumers keep paying top dollar for unfinished products, why do reviewers ignore the blinding problems and continue to give good scores for lazy efforts from developers?I do not know why, but I do know one thing I will not be buying another milestone title until I see an improvement in future titles. last time i buy a motogp game. the physics are much better but a minor update to the motogp21 and nothing more unfortunately. it even has 2021 bikes and liveries.
To be honest. It's in between 2021 and 2019. I like it. Bikes are chunky. And split screen. Also all 2009 bikes. Plug and play. Other games u gotta change a Lotta settings. This one is actually great. 9 out of 10. One problem lots of bikes missing after 2010 but many added before 2000. Can't wait till I play split screen. Yes I have friends. Lol
They improved graphically the lightning a lot. The picture is much better now but thats it, no other improvements. The flattened tracks make more fun now, not so bumpy. The first person cam is better. The handling is more realistic than 21, its correlating nicely now. Maybe a little bit too less oversteering, not sure yet. Season nine is very well made. For me wsbk should be straight as it has been always with brilliant graphics and physics thats the core of wsbk games. Not much bling bling needed imo.
Think I will give it a miss this year hardly any difference I'm waiting for world superbike game I'm hoping it's not just a Moto GP game with world superbike teams and tracks
MotoGP 19 was one of my favourites I played 21 quite and after 5hrs on 22 today I can tell you it's better than 19 & 21 I'd wait until they add the 22 models which I'm sure will include the first physics tweak that'll happen on the same day. It does need a little tweak but it's damn good and satisfying
It's funny cause I messaged milestone on FB weeks ago saying I bet it's exactly the same game with the same goofy animations in the pits which have been the same for years now, with Gavin Emmett still saying the same things etc etc, and they got back to me saying no it will be so much better and I will love it so I pulled the trigger and pre ordered on xbox series x for £60 and now feel like an idiot, they have been re hashing the same game for years now it's unbelievable, apart from a few welcome tweeks, RHD and and Nine it's exactly the same game. Very disappointed to be honest as most game time is in career mode and that hasn't changed at all.
I'll end up buying this later, I've been wanting to play for a couple of weeks now. It's annoying that there's not much in the way of improvements, and I don't like that the liveries in Moto2 and 3 are a "later date" thing once again this year, as I enjoy starting in Moto3. One question: Are the AI as nuts in the wet as they were in MotoGP 21? If it was a wet race, I couldn't keep up...
@@Maxibsa Moto2 and 3 modes are in the game, but Milestone don't update the team liveries from last year's game at release, so we're stuck with last year's liveries until they release a patch for it.
They really need to address the PS3 graphics. I know graphics don't have an impact on gameplay but it's 2022 & milestone are charging £60 for a minor changes to 2021. Daylight robbery. Good coverage of the game by Robo 👍
Finally kerbs that dont kill you as soon as you put your bike tires in it , man i wish you mention the replay still glitch like motogp 21 or not , because i like to do 50 % race distance and watch the replay
MotoGP 21 looks clearer, less washed out & better reflections. MotoGP 22 lighting improved, colors better, grass looks better, better textures, better fans, better atmosphere, but the shadows are to dark & rain racing is downgrade. MotoGP 21 is more enjoyable & way better braking. MotoGP 22 has better handling & better traction. MotoGP 21 is same game MotoGP 22 no need to upgrade until you can get it cheaper.
Motogp17 was the ultimate managerial career. I'm glad the physics have improved but give me a god damn team mate or stop me being in a team of 3. It's not that hard
Facts. The physics in R4 allow to actually ride fast and have fun with it. How did Milestone get it so right with R4 but continues to drop the ball with this series? I’m waiting for the WSBK game as well.

Just downloaded and try it, my first disappointment is why is it so difficult to change the yamaha's wheel?? It still the old model, they just change the colour and add orange oz branding 🤦♂️ Just hoping they update it...
I’m liking it if your on the fence just do it. The physics are a big improvement, they’ve been tuning this series every year its getting better the contract sucks but we get something fresh to play. Hope they fix the bugs in Ride 4 first since it's getting close to 2 years now... not that they did in Ride 3. I would also like to check if they fixed the invisible wall on the curb bug in MotoGP 22 that was introduced in MotoGP 19... carried over to MotoGP 20... and was also in MotoGP 21.
@@meltvanaarde6196 I’m like 12 races in a 21 race season and haven’t had a problem. What track and turn was it. My biggest problem with ride 4 was the off track boundaries when it was first released. If you hit the apex and touched the curb on certain tracks you were penalized. They fixed it the second week. Things got better don’t think it’ll ever be perfect though.
Is this game too hard compared with motogp 19 & 20? How much difficult is the breaking sistem? Between 19, 20 and 22 what do you suggest to buy for a novice? Thanks for your Answer!

Thanks for the vlog. I find the braking of the bikes very frustrating. Auto braking is too severe, many braking is just not strong enough. Does anyone have ideas to get round this?
Even though it's more of the same, this game is a lot more enjoyable for me because it's much easier to control the bike compared to 21. I'm still failing a lot but at least I can understand where I went wrong most of the time.
I'll be honest here as a massive Motogp fans but not a hardcore sim fans these few titles is really hard to play i get what they wanted but come on the assist for the break and leaning while help almost didn't feel like assist at all especially since the bike felt like it refusing to brake at all, i really feel they need to really improve in this area as let be real here Motogp isn't iRacing that totally cater to enthusiast but also to promote Motogp as a product to kid and casual alike That aside the content update from last year is minimal to say the least i even feel this edition is more like pay DLC of the last iteration, for customization they should at the very least let player to customize their bike and suit like the helmet does, it felt really limited and the fact often than not the custom suit use is an odd looking variant compare to official rider suit is just adding salt to injuries In conclusion if you interested better buy it after it got sale and for anyone who looking to try Motogp game or motorbike game i honestly recommend Ride series or Motogp 20 or below more than this , the game is difficult and from the start not design to be pick up and just play you need to learn to even ride the motorcycle this is why i recommend as above
My main issue and the reason I’m not gonna buy the game is that the ai is still reckless and will run you over, not overtake properly, which made last year’s game almost unplayable for me
Do you know if the bikes are the 2022 bikes? I have seen some people claiming that the bikes in the game are actually from 2021 watching a gameplay it's hard to say
the price in my country is kinda expensive, and it is double the price then motogp 21 now, while there are other game that offers very huge content such as forza horrizon. very sad
I swear this game is made by a team of 5-6 people. It feels like a group project where no one wants to do anything so one person steps up to just copy and paste their source and change a few words to get by.
Has anyone played this on switch yet? I don't know if it's the same on the other consoles but on switch it's pretty much unplayable in my opinion. The trajectory aids are useless, if start braking when it tells you to you will just run straight on at speed and totally miss the corner. The brakes are almost non existent, again meaning completely missing corners. When trying to lean the bike it's so slow and sluggish, and again adding to completely missing corners, which also makes swapping from 1 side to the other incredibly slow. Like I say its almost unplayable and certainly no fun. What's the point of a racing game where it's near on impossible to turn a corner. If people say "the developers have gone for realism", I've been riding bikes for over 30 years and if it was this hard to ride one nobody would ever buy a bike. I currently have a cbr600rr and it's so nimble and easy to throw around, and brakes incredibly quickly, nothing like the bikes on this game. In my own opinion the last descent motogp game was motogp 17 on ps4, yes probably not as "realistic" but sooo much more fun to play, as you actually feel in control of the bike and does what you tell it to. Motogp 20 on switch was much more easier play. Ride 4 on ps4 was also so much easier to play. Unfortunately so called realistic doesn't always mean fun. 👎👎

So basically stuff that should’ve been a patch for the previous game with absolutely nothing new. Also - why do they keep changing physics every year? Every time a new game comes out we hear “you’ll have to get used to the new handling”. Getting tired of having to relearn it all the time. By the way, the tutorial mode already existed in 21 so it’s not new.

Donˋt like the physics! Braking is strange, RHD doesnt work (topspeed is less), moto2 sliding and wheelie to much (wo tc and wc), moto3 to much sliding (wo tc), Game Not complete 2022 (bikes etc. missing), some bike Sounds are wrong 🤔🤦🏻♂️
i fear for the world superbike game. for some reason i can see milestone releasing a deliberately half baked wsbk game and adding minimal improvements every year trying to justify a yearly upgrade.

I've been playing it for the past 2 hours. The curbs in my game are no different to 21 what I have noticed is if you ease off they don't feel as harsh but I certainly can't go full on while turning on the apex. The bike feels lighter sense of speed is better sound is a slight improvement I have no complaints so far I'm really enjoying it and if your a Moto GP fan it's a definite buy in my opinion. Also the RHD can be selected manually or semi automatic
Shame that the Nine section doesn't have the bikes sounding correctly, stoners Duke was an absolute screamer, in the game it sounds like the new dukes...disappointing
Hate these super realistic games, I ride motorbikes but can’t get on with these games! They just zapped the fun out of them, for me ride 3 was my favourite then tried ride 4 and I was done buying them because it was less fun and more like work 👎🏻.

Haven't bought a MotoGP game since 2019, don't think I'll pick this up either. Will stick to GPBikes until a major change is made

I miss the proper managerial career mode that was in Moto GP 2019 I think it was but I do kind of like the managerial content in this one too.

Same problem, I start braking right where the line asks me to slow but it's never enough. also if you are on the brakes the bike woulnd't lean...

I'll be honest here as a massive Motogp fans but not a hardcore sim fans these few titles is really hard to play i get what they wanted but come on the assist for the break and leaning while help almost didn't feel like assist at all especially since the bike felt like it refusing to brake at all, i really feel they need to really improve in this area as let be real here Motogp isn't iRacing that totally cater to enthusiast but also to promote Motogp as a product to kid and casual alike
That aside the content update from last year is minimal to say the least i even feel this edition is more like pay DLC of the last iteration, for customization they should at the very least let player to customize their bike and suit like the helmet does, it felt really limited and the fact often than not the custom suit use is an odd looking variant compare to official rider suit is just adding salt to injuries
In conclusion if you interested better buy it after it got sale and for anyone who looking to try Motogp game or motorbike game i honestly recommend Ride series or Motogp 20 or below more than this , the game is difficult and from the start not design to be pick up and just play you need to learn to even ride the motorcycle this is why i recommend as above
My main issue and the reason I’m not gonna buy the game is that the ai is still reckless and will run you over, not overtake properly, which made last year’s game almost unplayable for me

It's not been worth it since the second Moto GP game milestone made, since them each new game is essentially just a patch and new liveries

the price in my country is kinda expensive, and it is double the price then motogp 21 now, while there are other game that offers very huge content such as forza horrizon. very sad
No MotoE in this years, That's a bit disappointing.
I swear this game is made by a team of 5-6 people. It feels like a group project where no one wants to do anything so one person steps up to just copy and paste their source and change a few words to get by.

Has anyone played this on switch yet? I don't know if it's the same on the other consoles but on switch it's pretty much unplayable in my opinion. The trajectory aids are useless, if start braking when it tells you to you will just run straight on at speed and totally miss the corner. The brakes are almost non existent, again meaning completely missing corners. When trying to lean the bike it's so slow and sluggish, and again adding to completely missing corners, which also makes swapping from 1 side to the other incredibly slow.
Like I say its almost unplayable and certainly no fun. What's the point of a racing game where it's near on impossible to turn a corner. If people say "the developers have gone for realism", I've been riding bikes for over 30 years and if it was this hard to ride one nobody would ever buy a bike. I currently have a cbr600rr and it's so nimble and easy to throw around, and brakes incredibly quickly, nothing like the bikes on this game.
In my own opinion the last descent motogp game was motogp 17 on ps4, yes probably not as "realistic" but sooo much more fun to play, as you actually feel in control of the bike and does what you tell it to. Motogp 20 on switch was much more easier play. Ride 4 on ps4 was also so much easier to play. Unfortunately so called realistic doesn't always mean fun. 👎👎
Again, same thing every year. They just released an unfinished game. Well, a classic Milestone isn't it? and last but not least, do they really listen to the community? Jezzzzzzz... Big disappointment 😒

So basically stuff that should’ve been a patch for the previous game with absolutely nothing new. Also - why do they keep changing physics every year? Every time a new game comes out we hear “you’ll have to get used to the new handling”. Getting tired of having to relearn it all the time.
By the way, the tutorial mode already existed in 21 so it’s not new.

Donˋt like the physics! Braking is strange, RHD doesnt work (topspeed is less), moto2 sliding and wheelie to much (wo tc and wc), moto3 to much sliding (wo tc), Game Not complete 2022 (bikes etc. missing), some bike Sounds are wrong 🤔🤦🏻♂️

Man, finnaly track are same as real life. Speed and handling are 100 diferent. Yes is worth It. Event the sound are Better. People Who Say is trash they play with 30 ai and racing line:)))) GG milestone
I've been playing it for the past 2 hours.
The curbs in my game are no different to 21 what I have noticed is if you ease off they don't feel as harsh but I certainly can't go full on while turning on the apex.
The bike feels lighter sense of speed is better sound is a slight improvement
I have no complaints so far I'm really enjoying it and if your a Moto GP fan it's a definite buy in my opinion.
Also the RHD can be selected manually or semi automatic

Hate these super realistic games, I ride motorbikes but can’t get on with these games! They just zapped the fun out of them, for me ride 3 was my favourite then tried ride 4 and I was done buying them because it was less fun and more like work 👎🏻.
