for me it depends, with life you have to worry so much about armor, resistances, and all that. with ward, all u need is health and ward retention. as long as u have lots of ward, u dont even need armor and if u have an aurora's time glass u are nearly unkillable. i have capped resistances just because it looks nice on my screen but i have almost no armor at all
Considering that Ward will be revisited by the devs i would stick to the health version. I played both and the health version was easier, especially when you are starting the build. But i dont think it will endure higher corruption levels.
Yea I think the HP version is better , the key thing for the HP version is the "Health on Melee Hit", so when you take damage, you regain your HP back so fast. With the Low life Ward version, you can't regain Ward back when you take damage, I mean you can use your Potion to get some Ward, but not really enough@@fabiooliveira531

I think both the Low Life Warding and HP versions are good, I just need to play more with the Low life version in higher corruption like 2000+
