- So after a few years of tropical heat in Jakarta, Indonesia, we move to Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia for our next adventure. Join us as we travel from Dublin to Riyadh, via Abu Dhabi.
Soon enough you’ll regret not moving here earlier💚 get settle enjoy your journey Riyadh season starts on October. You’ll get used to the heat and welcome to Saudi Arabia
Welcome to my Country, Saudi Arabia
Reading all of these comments you have to give the Saudi Arabian people mass credit because these people are pissing all over their kingdom and whining about every little thing and acting like they're gonna go live in an underground bunker or something like that. If you decided to move there just make the best of it.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia looks absolutely beautiful and I hope to be able to visit there someday. The hospitality seems unmissible. Classy good hearted people ❤
I think Alothaim markets is cheaper than panda, Riyadh is a great city and it is the future for Middle East. Best of luck to you and your family
That supermarket looks very expensive! Things are much cheaper than that. Enjoy your time and try to find another place to shop.
Best is luck with the move! Am looking forward to the upcoming videos 👌🏻
trust me ofc the weather is so hot in the summer but in the winter its the most beautiful country and the people is amazing talk to them
Awesome, look forward to seeing everyday life in Riyadh, Jedda and other Saudi cities...
I believe, some supermarkets are expensive and others aren’t. In my point of view, if you want shampoo or toothbrush or something like that, you should buy it from medicine stores. It’s much cheaper and you will find a lot of discounts. Have fun in my country. You are welcome,
هو يسخر وقصده ان السعر رخيص في السعوديه انت فهمت غلط
Panda seems like a tourist trap lol
G,day from Perth Australia, Jason iv always liked the channel and have always been jealous of all the beautiful countries you go to and im sure Saudi Arabia will be...um... anyway iv got break dancing lessons to get back to😆
New Job, new country and baby on the way. You must not get easily stressed to be doing that
It’s not been the best timing.
It's okay keep your faith in God and keep going. God bless you and your sweet wife and the baby on the way! All the best!
Don’t worry because the winter is coming and so collddd in Riyadh, your born will be freezing and enjoy Riyadh season in the winter💚
the person on the 100 riyal bill is the king, not the crown prince
actually panda is not the best place to buy stuff from you can go to the small supermarket its cheap
Welcome to KSA.. enjoy the summer...
Where is a blond lady with the dog from your old videos?
Find your local baqala where locals shop or expats from South Asia - they will have cheaper products
Why the move? Higher pay? Are you both English teachers?
We are paid well, but it was other factors: closer to Europe, people we know in Saudi. Less pollution. And a few others
The weather will be cold in month, u know saudi arabia not all hot, it's like a continent with more than 2 million km. if u go to mountainous cities in the southwest of Saudi Arabia like Abha, Taif, Albaha it's really cold and rainy in the summer 17 degree celsius. There are many super markets, panda is a bit expensive, I will recommend u Aldanoub hypermarket. There is a branch of Spinneys. Good timing for moving to saudi arabia, especially with ur wife's pregnancy, u will see the quality of medical services and the hospitals, all for free. Welcome to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦❤️
Welcome to Riyadh. Soon you will love the atmosphere of the city. And car congestion. The weather will improve in a month. A big city with very expensive places and cheap places. My advice is to have social relationships. Women wear an abaya over their clothes so that they do not have to change their appearance every time
My friend it is 5 Saudi Riyals not 5 Pounds, approximately 1 Pound
Have watched a few of your previous videos but am really interested in KSA move as looking at it as an option. I’m in construction. What do you guys do? Teaching?!?
Pls share more videos as you settle in? Those prices have to be convenience store prices -right?
More vids to come. Yes both teachers. Those prices were in a large supermarket chain
والله من القعاطه بهالراس
ههههههههههههههههههههه
I'm a Saudi living in London, and I find things here to be overpriced compared to Riyadh. One of us must be wrong! 😁
fun
Congratulations. Riyadh looks very expensive
Jason Smart Travel, wanna collab I really liked it
You should follow Panda offers, as these prices are not real
Great video and good luck! A quick correction, the person on the 100 riyals bill isn’t the Crown Prince but King Salman.
Also I might be off here but living in Saudi and hearing those rediculous prices shocked me. Is there a chance you may have miscalculated the pricing when comparing currencies ?
No, the prices are crazy here.
@@JasonSmartTravel Keep in mind western products are imported so they will be more expensive. If you want cheap go for local products
👍🏻🌹

i think you are reading the prices wrong brother.
I’ve just been to another supermarket - Carrefour. Here are some prices:
Cornflakes 500g 27.45 riyals = $7.32
Colgate regular toothpaste 14.45 riyals = $3.85
So maybe Panda, the first supermarket we visited, it just insanely expensive.
Yehhhhh, NO!
