Girl... that man loves you.. look at this video and you can see it in his eyes. I’ve never seen a man with so much flattery for his spouse. God Bless you both!
I was in tears listening to Michael talk about his love for you, Especially how it’s grown over all the years you’ve been together. What a great gift, ❤️ I lost my husband five years ago unexpectedly, and he too adored me similarly. I tell others in my life to not waste a chance to show your love to your spouse, for you really don’t know when you’ll lose that love and you don’t want to leave this earth with there being any doubt.
Wow! I was told on the eve of my high school graduation that I had to move out. I was blindsided, I could not go to university as I didn’t qualify to get a student loan since my father made too much money. I moved out and struggled for years. Listening to your husband be so gentle and generous about helping his kids brought tears to my eyes! My son will never be thrown to the wolves like I was.
I really love you guys. I could watch this kind of video every day. I’d love to hear more Michael’s financial advice. It’s never too long. Make it a series!💕💕
Marnie, let him speak! LOL it's so cute how you know Michael can extend his answers and you aye roll so funny. Also, I didn't know you started college as an Anthropology major and got a Sociology BA, I'm a Cultural Anthropologist myself!! (currently a PhD candidate)
My husband and I have lived the same path. He retired at 52 and I was 47. We have always lived below our means and still lived graciously. We are now 79 and 74 and have never wanted for a thing. Like Michael he is an active money manager for our assets. We have loved, loved, loved our life.
I love 💙 watching these. I don’t mind if he is long-winded. Just relax and let him answer in his way. I always feel you’re super stressed in these Q&A’s. I do not mean that to be rude. Everyone likes MIchael, so let him roll. :) I see he tries to calm you down. You got a great one and that is such a blessing.
My husband and I are the same. One person's traits compliments the others. 38 years together 34 years married this summer. And we still love spending time together ❤💕 Really enjoy these videos with you both!
Marnie and Michael ... thank you for sharing a bit of yourselves with us. I love listening to the both of you together. Michael’s eyes sparkle when he speaks of you and the way he pulls you in towards him .... you can’t make that up. What a blessing to have that still almost after 25 years of marriage. Marnie you made me smile when speaking of your children getting married some day and the possible birth of a grand daughter. Your boys truly had wonderful role models in their lives. I enjoyed watching this with a coffee on a Sunday morning. I can’t wait until you do this again. I think one of the first videos I saw and how I stumbled upon you was you sitting alone giving advice on how to find a life partner. You both have chosen well. 💕
Love hearing both perspectives! When I hear Michael speaks of the financial crisis and mortgage banking my ears always perk up as that was my industry for over 20 years.
Love this! We would tease and say to our kiddos (their friends included) Dad and I are going to go 'wash the car"! They knew what that meant and would say "Ew you guys" and their friends would laugh and so we kind of called their bluff. Half of the time we didn't "wash the car". Just loved teasing them. Now that their 25-35 they say that they were comforted that we had a "love life" because so many of their friends family's were not happy homes.
Hi Marnie and Michael, The talking over each other doesn't bother me either. My husband and I do the same thing and we have been married and in love for almost 41 years now. I thought your video was fun, and light hearted. It's always nice to see you and I enjoyed your video. I'm glad that you guys are ok and hanging in there with this crazy unusual weather that has hit Texas so hard. Praying for you all. Have a wonderful Sunday!! xoxo, Karen
You're adorable! Love Michael's sweet beautiful 100 watt smile and how kind and loving he is to you. And he's right - you are a supermodel! What a lovely couple! May you have many more years! 😍🥰🔥
Thank you for sharing a bit of your lives; it is so nice to see a happy couple. Being somewhat new to your channel (with you almost a yr now) I have enjoy all your videos Marine, and the two of you together. Especially the financial wellness series.
I have found that through 24 years of marriage and knowing my husband most of my life that allowing each other to continue being themselves is the key! We are 54 years old and still in love.💕 You are adorable together!
We are 30 years into our marriage and still best friends. So good to see another long-term couple so clearly happy together! Thanks so much for the video!
BINGO regarding finances!! We don’t go overboard on expenses because we don’t want to work to death. Well I have Multiple Sclerosis since 20 and having obtained my BSN RN, I knew one day I could be limited. Though I was a stay at home mom with all 3 and loved it! No matter where one is financially, financial planning should be second nature! Hubby does well and so blessed. I have no shame wearing Walmart items when the style will outgrow the wear of the item! I’ve our oldest following you now too! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I know this is several years old
Two genuine people who are loving and financially savvy AND both talkers who interrupt each other often (way, way, way too much). Generally, a fun video and I would watch another like it.
I really enjoyed this!! I don't often catch all your videos but i learn a lot when you have a joint video. I think it's so sweet how in love you are after all these years. I look up to you two and your practical financial advice.
I also advise my husband on the best way (my way) to get to a place when he is driving a way I don't want to. It was good of Michael to agree to be in the video and open about his personal life.
These collab videos are the best. Showing a real down to earth couple that have a good relationship after all these years! Gives me hope that my husband and I will still share interests down the long haul.
You guys are great together. I love. This format. Marnie, the eye rolls! Michael is a gem. You both are so perfect together. And funny! Great tips. Didn’t know Michael was a guitar player. That was a surprise. Excellent video. Do more! Xo Rachel 🐕🐕🐕💕🌷🐈🥰
Sorry just finished watching. You guys are too cute!! 🥰 Bradley and I will celebrate our 28th anniversary this Saturday! Life is good when you have that right person for sure! Bless you guys!
I really enjoyed you both. The quitar playing is familiar indeed! Women used to say, “your so lucky.” My response was, “do you like to dance?!” “Oh yes!” My response, “ We’ll forget about!” I got married and became a wallflower, which I resented as I was 19. Just after we got married he joined a band, I hated it! I was terribly lonely. When the kids came along I had infants and was dragged out until 1:00 am. Now I would say, “Are you out of your mind!” I think it made him feel like he wasn’t abandoning me, it wasn’t how I felt! Now that we’re in our sixties… I’m like be free, I’m very good at being alone. I love people but, I’ve had lupus and scleroderma for decades. Maybe a bit to good. I really enjoy your honesty, information on clothing and as I listened to you both I learnt we share similar taste in reeding. I would love it if would provide a list of books you really enjoy, I don’t read a lot as I’m an artist but, when I’m on vacation I love to dive into a great book. Thank you and all the best to you and your family. PS. Still married 45 yrs.
I have 4 sons and 1 daughter (not including foster children). My mother was a bridal designer for 30 years. What I learned there is the couple has 100% input and control. Parents should have 0%, whether they give the gift of paying or not. It's their life event and memories as adults, so 100% what they want. My family still laughs about when I was 4 and my parents didn't know I saw them in bed. I called my mother's family screaming "My dad is strangling my mother!", while resulted in them rushing over where they lived so close, to my parent's horror and shock, thankfully not calling police first.
Thanks you two, for sharing some of your lives with us. You can see the glow in Michaels face and eyes that he truly loves you. Michael needs to play your or his favorite song for us. We would love to hear him play. Thanks and enjoy each others company.
I died a little when you wanted to move on from the investment question lol. I would love to hear more about that! My husband and I are trying to “retire” early by investing and always love hearing tips and tricks on how to go about doing that
Our marriages and lifestyles are so similar! We both got to retire at 55 and chose to stay in our home because our area has so much to do! There are lakes and snowmobile trails. So many of our friends go to Florida all winter and that isn’t us. We travel and are not bound to just one place. We are also like you guys in temperament! I am totally like you, quick to anger and very emotional and love to read! My husband is so calm and makes me feel so secure! He can fix and build anything and I never have to worry! It’s fun to see inside other people’s marriages! Thanks for sharing!
Aww this was such a great video!! Love ❤️ you guys as a couple God Bless!! Loved how Michael speaks of you so much love!! And Marine I loved your Spanish!!!
OMG I’m up alone while my kiddos and hubby are asleep and this made my morning. You two are so inspirational. I love seeing happily married strong couples ❤️
As a mother of two married boys- I was always told we were to wear beige and shut up!!! My reply was- Silence was never my strong suit and I look dang good in red!!!🤣🤣🤣
Great video. Marnie, my son-in-law is a pilot and he says the planes are absolutely sanitized and clean. We are about to take our graduating grandchildren to a warm, out of country destination.
You 2 are truly blessed! I've never EVER encountered a couple with this type of relationship. I'm in sales & also volunteered in my kids schools a good bit. Meaning I'm not a shut in. I have a fair amount of friends. Wow! So impressed with y'all.
It's so nice to see you and Michael together and how your'e both devoted to each other still, you're very lucky. I've always loved your family vlogs until your boys left for college when you shared bits here and there of them. I've learned so much when you both sit down and discuss finances, buying cars or house updates. I lost my husband a year and a half ago and we were married for nearly 39 years, he too loved playing the guitar. I hope that one day you might share a glimpse of Michael singing. My husband missed so much of our kids growing up because he too was always working. By the way, your Spanish is very good and I'm sure you can make yourself understood. I've always tried very hard but sometimes slaughter my words, I don't ever give up speaking though. Saludos desde Northern California.
First off, so glad that you are safe. So sorry about what is happening in Texas and thank you for sharing resources on how we can help! Now to the video - we absolutely love you and Michael! So excited to see you both pop up in my inbox. You both are beyond adorable together...thank you for sharing and paying forward great information!
Awww Marnie, I want you to tell Michael that I started tearing up when you spoke of the best qualities of him ( planning and all that went with that ) and the way he spoke of you !! Because you kept it real and just the coolest couple ! So sweet!!! I just adore you both. Perfect together and remind me of some of our couple friends. If we ever go to Texas I’d love to meet ya. List is to get to Texas one day and who knows I could give you & Michael a personal chef experience in your home. I’ll be in Florida cooking for a family for a week. But I mostly work in Michigan serving Italian and French cuisine. Anyway you both keep me laughing too, great sense of humor!!😎
Great video!!! I admire your honesty on living within your means. I am 50 and I see too many young adults facing a harsh reality when they decide to start a family. I try my hardest to teach my son to budget (when we go to target) and he wants to go down the isle of doom ($1-$5 at the entrance). I didn’t have my first taste of luxury well into my 40’s. Your boys are so blessed to have you set such a great example.
So excited to hear Michael and his retirement because we are in similar situation. My hubby retired 1.5 years ago when he was just turning 43. People really did not understand why he was walking away from huge opportunities but we really do enjoy being with each other and kids really love having dad around. Unfortunately our youngest one is still in gr 8 so we can't travel much but we do winery hoping on Thursdays! Just like you guys, we are actively involved in managing our portfolio. One day, I really hope to have you and Michael over for dinner !!!!
Marnie, I have been so enjoying your channel more and more these days. Thank you to both of you for opening up to us and ignore all the negative comments. I like to listen and read people’s comments and people are just so rude. You read the title it is a Q & A people they are answering questions RELAX! They are not over talking each other and she is not annoyed with him...if am wrong they are great actors and they need to start a new show! Seriously, fun Q & A.
I love that you both are doing this because it helps young people(and Im incuding you both) see that with hard work and perseverance you can go from having nothing no money nothing to be secure financially and in a good place. It’s a beautiful American story and I really enjoyed watching this and I believe what we need right now in this world. I can’t tell you how frustrated I am that people make so many excuses. You both give great advice that even if somebody is going off track could follow roughly to get back to where they need to be. Mostly the line of living within your means means everything my parents taught us that too. Oh my God..My teenagers are exactly the same way and they are actively vomiting if we even have a kiss around them. Lol
I loved this video Marnie and Michael. Your advice and banter between you two is just infectious. Please consider doing a YT live together. Happy Sunday!
I love when you guys do these! Great advice and it's nice to see nice people who have it together and came from nothing like so many do. It takes hard work, but you show that it is worth it :) Thanks for keeping it classy as well!
I think it's great you will help financially for your sons weddings. It's so interesting today because 1/2 of my friends pay all themselves and about 1/2 involve parents. I got married in 2007. My husband and I paid for our entire wedding. We didn't want to ask for financial help. It was tight for sure. Everyone was happy and we didn't short our guest list. We didn't go on a honeymoon. We put a new roof on our garage with the "gift" money we received.
Love these videos! Would love to see these monthly! My husband and I have also put travel plans on hold for last year when he turned 60 and our 35 wedding anniversary. I live in AZ and my husband is a golfer. If Michael ever wants a golf partner in AZ, let me know. I always ride along in the golf cart. Prayers for Texas!
Marnie, I started watching you just a few months ago. I'm a native Texan and currently live in East Texas. I've been to S.A. many, many times having lived in Austin and attended SWTSU. Anyway, this is a very interesting vlog and amusing at the same time! I've been curious about you and your life. Thanks, Marnie!
If parents are willing to spend $50K -100K on a wedding, I feel that money would be better spent on a downpayment for a home. I think weddings expenses have gotten completely out of control. Maybe I am just too practical and therefore never wanted a lavish affair. And don’t get me started on bachelor/bachelorette weekends....😂
I loved this! So great to see a married couple so happy , still in love & enjoy just being together after many years! I was smiling & laughing the whole time. Thanks so much for sharing, definitely one of my favorite videos. Thoughts & prayers going out to all of TX & surrounding areas 🙏❤️😘
We let Zach have a couple months to build up savings. He had a full time job as a surgical resident and we were able to give that to him. Just a good start on his life.
I enjoyed this video. Its really evident that you two are so in love and soul mates. Michael seems like a low key, patient guy, by his answers alone. Opposites attrack.
Forgot to add - It would be so cool to have Michael play guitar in a video sometime :) Also, regarding the comments in you both interrupting each other, I can tell it is just your dynamic and it is sweet. Me and my guy have been together for close to 20 yet as and we do the same thing. And o want to say that we all need to find a man that looks at them like Michael looks at Marnie
This was so much fun to watch! Thank you so much for the pleasant distraction. I should be sleeping but couldn't stop. Also.... My husband would be right in there talking to Michael about the financial planning/portfolios.. I am a musician so I totally understand the geeking out on mixing his tracks. Love you guys !!
Girl... that man loves you.. look at this video and you can see it in his eyes. I’ve never seen a man with so much flattery for his spouse. God Bless you both!
I totally agree @ Joanna Miller and they make a wonderful sweet couple.
My sister’s husband looks like him and completely worships her to it’s amazing. So I get that I’ve seen that it exists ladies
Wow Michael is a sweetheart, the world needs more men like him. He’s soo sweet!
I agree with you, Steph. I'm so sorry for your loss. Hugs...Lorraine
So true, my good friend lost her husband to a sudden heart attack 3 weeks ago at the age of 61.
Oh Steph...my heart aches for you!! I never take him granted for a minute!
He’s so sweet. You seem annoyed with him the entire time.
He talks under her constantly. I'd be frustrated too
My husband and I have lived the same path. He retired at 52 and I was 47. We have always lived below our means and still lived graciously. We are now 79 and 74 and have never wanted for a thing. Like Michael he is an active money manager for our assets. We have loved, loved, loved our life.
He seriously needs his own podcast or youtube channel I would 100% watch!
You all are a wonderful couple 🥰 I like hearing Michael talk and you definitely don’t have to worry about it going long. We like it!
My husband retired from a paycheck when he was 38, we live from that now in our 70’s.
Michael needs his own channel! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Agree!!!
You compliment each other so beautifully and you are truly blessed. Michael needs to start his own channel.
Michael needs his own channel for sure! He has the best outlook on life and advice
My husband and I are the same. One person's traits compliments the others. 38 years together 34 years married this summer. And we still love spending time together ❤💕
Really enjoy these videos with you both!
I love that y'all have been so financially responsible and now can enjoy life, debt free.
He has smiling’ eyes. So nice to see a happy man. 😊

I always love these videos with you both! I was laughing at the end talking about what you fight over-the route to get to your destination 😂.
Loved listening to you guys talk about your lives.
You both are so adorable and very lucky to have such a wonderful relationship.
Please make this a series, or better yet, Michael needs his own channel or podcast! He's great.
You guys are absolutely lovely. Thank you for the self-disclosure. Your talk has given me a lot to think about.
We are 30 years into our marriage and still best friends. So good to see another long-term couple so clearly happy together! Thanks so much for the video!

The interrupting each other is annoying. Otherwise, thanks for the video. Good information.
Finding a job may not be the easiest due to the pandemic. Be kind to your new graduates.
Oh for sure!
Married 29 years here and our main fight is him choosing the wrong area to park at La Cantera!😂🤣😂
Two genuine people who are loving and financially savvy AND both talkers who interrupt each other often (way, way, way too much). Generally, a fun video and I would watch another like it.
Good morning Goldbergs - glad you are warm and safe!
Great video! Don't worry about the time/long winded ness. You two are so great together. We will stick around and listen. Beautiful couple❤️
You guys are adorable! Very blessed to have had such a attraction and commitment that grew together through the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s!

These collab videos are the best. Showing a real down to earth couple that have a good relationship after all these years! Gives me hope that my husband and I will still share interests down the long haul.
You all are sweethearts! Hope everything goes smoothly as you are planning. Remember grandchildren are wonderful.
You guys are great together. I love. This format. Marnie, the eye rolls! Michael is a gem. You both are so perfect together. And funny! Great tips. Didn’t know Michael was a guitar player. That was a surprise. Excellent video. Do more! Xo Rachel 🐕🐕🐕💕🌷🐈🥰
I’ve always loved when Michael makes it into a video! You guys are so adorable and definitely set the marriage bar high! Congrats.

Marnie, Michael is such a sweetheart. My husband is a guitar player and has a “guitar room” too so I can empathize with you!
Love it when you guys do these!!❤️❤️enjoyed that so much!
And thank you Mr. Michael for the detailed answers.
Thanks you two, for sharing some of your lives with us. You can see the glow in Michaels face and eyes that he truly loves you.
Michael needs to play your or his favorite song for us. We would love to hear him play. Thanks and enjoy each others company.
This was so good. Marnie you crack me up, trying to cut Michael’s talk time 😆. Y’all are adorable 💕
I love Michael and Marnie Q&As. You inspire me both as a young wife, mom! Please do more of these :) Hope you’re staying safe and warm in Texas!
I love how you take care of your boys 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Welcome!
I love that you are honest is your answers and yourself in the videos.
You two really are adorable. 💐 Thanks for sharing; I love your back & forth & whatever works for you two is obviously working!! ❤️🥰

@@rosariodavila4695 so glad you found this series!
“Tell them you’re wrestling “ 😂🤣😂👏 made me LOL for real

As a mother of two married boys- I was always told we were to wear beige and shut up!!! My reply was- Silence was never my strong suit and I look dang good in red!!!🤣🤣🤣
I totally agree with everything you believe. We set our financials up exactly the same. From the moment we married. Best decision we made.
Great video. Marnie, my son-in-law is a pilot and he says the planes are absolutely sanitized and clean. We are about to take our graduating grandchildren to a warm, out of country destination.

“I hate to break it to you guys, you didn’t hatch out of an egg” 😂😂 I’m dying. Your wit Marnie!
How lucky you both are to have each other.
I never realized that Michael has quite a bit of a TX accent LOL! I enjoy the both of you and your dynamic. :) These videos are really fun
You two looks so good together and is so lovely how Michael looks at you and the love you two shares. Love looking at you two.
Just watching this now - love seeing you both together answering questions and discussing things. Thanks for sharing it put a smile on my face!
We have never regretted retiring early. Just not traveling as we would like due to covid. We have been very blessed.
“If I don’t pay, I don’t get a vote” 😂 marnie you’re the best
Marnie, I started watching you just a few months ago. I'm a native Texan and currently live in East Texas. I've been to S.A. many, many times having lived in Austin and attended SWTSU. Anyway, this is a very interesting vlog and amusing at the same time! I've been curious about you and your life. Thanks, Marnie!
I’m so glad you found me!
Ha ha! Too cute when you were talking about alone time. Our kids are getting older now and it’s much more trickier finding that alone time.
They overlap speech. It's their style. They are happy with it.
You two are adorable, that man loves you to the moon an back!
My hubby and I met in 1994 as well when he was a senior in high school and I was a sophomore in college. We too will be married 24 years in July. ❤️
Happy pre- birthday, Michael. Lox and bagels for a treat! 💕🌷
I love your looks while Michael is detailing everything, I have the same look with why husband and we are celebrating 47 years of marriage,❤️
