So pretty, Karen.
thanks so much K
Karen, haven't seen one of your videos in a long time. Nice to catch up with you. Enjoyed watching you over paint the leaves. Beautiful.
Hi Penny...glad to see you are still around. Hope creating is still part of your life...I'm still plugging away...doing what I do. K
Absolutely lovely!
Glad you like it! I really am thinking of doing a canvas with this. K
This is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your techniques😊
Thanks so much 😊 Happy creating.K
This looks fantastic! 😊😊
In real life its even better. K
Thank you ! Great idea! 🌹😍
Thanks for watching K
What I do, I put ninnys napkins on 5"x7" 80 pound cardstock.. I put matt medium over the top of the cardstock with a squeegie.. I let it dry. It is thinner then elmers glue or mod podge and dries rather quickly. Once that is dry, I lay the napkin over the top of the cardstock, then I put parchment paper on top of that. I take a cricut mini press and iron the top of the parchment paper. You are heating up the glue and the napkin sticks to the cardstock flawlessly. If using a regular home iron.. put the iron on the highest setting. :) give it a go... Sincerely Robin aka DeLady in Idaho
I have seen the iron on method...but have not tried it as of yet. It sure seems to work. Thanks for your comment. K
Hi Karen! I love the Gesso tip and adding it to the Intense blocks. When I tried using them on the fairy, I kind of made a mess and it looked very muted and more like watercolour. I will try using the gesso. Been on a bit of an art break lately just been busy, but want to get back to it soon, so decided to watch your video get me back into the mood. Starting Fodder School 3 in October and will be my first time with this program. Thanks for the video and happy Fall!
I've never done fodder school. It looks amazing.I am sure it will get you out of you break and inspire you. K
What do you do to thin down the gold paint?
To thin it I just add plain tap water...nothing special at all....it's just a bit of playing around to get the consistency right...add water/ mix...try...repeat till you get it how you like it. K
@@KarenBurchill Thank you, I'm going to do it right now.
