I've been waiting a long time for this and I am not left disappointed. Seven lions and kill the noise combined have one good track record and this just proves that. In my opinion some of the more subtle stuff away from the drops are the best parts, yet I can't help but get hooked in the drops, the psytrance to dubstep switch is obviously amazing and the atmosphere that is build before and during that second drop really puts the cherry ontop.
I'm glad to see that the time spent waiting was well worth it

Did I mention that I love this? Like, there's just SO much style here. The first time I heard it, I recognized it as good, despite being slightly outside of my range at the time. It's grown on me a lot since then. I love how it's impressively melodic at times, excessively aggressive at others, and then focused during the trance. That's literally what Bloodborne is all about. And it's just so hype. The single thing that instinctually puts me off is that extremely anxiety-inducing sound. You prolly know which one I mean, but it kinda serves its purpose of hyping you up, so it definitely isnt out of place or anything. I really truly feel like this song captures the essence of Bloodborne- it's rather beautiful, yet ghastly and frightening, haunting, and grippingly intense. Love the inclusion of the scream, lyrics, and the crying. I actually wouldve liked more demon screams throughout. Oh, and I wanna say that I like the trance in this. I feel like there might be a stigma that psytrance is "free" to produce or something, because its so repetitive, but I appreciate that repeated sound being so crisp and well-produced, and the lacing on it is nice.
I love how Jeff gets better and better after all these years. It's easy to hear both artist's influence on this song and it fits together so well without following a traditional song structure. The song is always in movement and it almost never seems to re-tread its steps. 🔥

Not lying, I was trying to think of unique song titles. I thought "blood" was too generic and then, out of nowhere, the word "the" was placed in front of it. "The Blood," I thought. "Sounds cool." Later that day, I decide to go to UKF Dubstep and, lo and behold, their latest entry [this track] happens to be called "The Blood." Needless to say, I freaked out.
