Hey have you listned abt RRR movie idk maybe u don’t watch any indian movie but have you heard abt it if haven’t then you should check out this movie i promise you will love it cuz this indian movie is getting a lot of love in ur country also its on netflix🙌 Its a 3hours movie but you. When Winston asks what John needs and he says "Guns, lots of guns" it's kind of a call back to the matrix when they ask Neo what he needs to save Morphious. Or at least that's how I took it.
It actually was a direct callback to that film. The green font color that the secretaries use was also a reference to the green format of the Matrix. The doctor in the first movie and here that treats John is the Keymaker from the Matrix: Reloaded. And a cool actor call back/reunion is if you look at John Wick 2 being the first movie since the Matrix trilogy that reunited Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne on the big screen.
The loss of John's ring is pretty good symbolism. It was his marriage that took him out of the "assassin world," so giving the Elder the ring means he has given up on that part of his life. Giving the finger itself means that John has given up the potential to having that become a factor again---he has nowhere to put a wedding ring on---and he will forever be, as the Elder said, bound to the Table. Of course, John being John ... 😅 As a lot of people have said, a great number of fans suspect the next film, rather than John simply going for revenge, is John going for the ring specifically, in essence recovering that part of him that gave him peace.
@@Dilirium23 Yeah, if Halle's character has to haver her daughter hidden from her, perhaps its the sdame for winston, but he knows who his daughter is, but Helen didnt know who he was perhaps?
The bald gentleman that John fights at the end is Mark Dacascos, son of the legendary kung fu master Al Dacascos. Mark is a martial arts film star himself. He was trained in kung fu from the time he was a child. His stepmother Malia is also a highly regarded martial artist. The two men he fought were from the Indonesian film series, The Raid. Those films are legendary. John Wick 4 is coming out in March 2023. Donnie Yen is co-starring. That`s gonna be a hell of a movie.
The funny thing is that this is the first time I saw Mark Dacascos in a big Hollywood-budget movie (and the only time so far). The only film I'd ever seen him in before was a film called Solar Attack, one of those low-budget, made-for-TV disaster movies.
@@oliverconway6960 If you want to see him in a great American movie watch Drive (the 1997 one). It’s a truly incredible martial arts movie, though I recommend you watch the longer international cut as the US Theatrical version had a lot of stuff cut out and they even changed the musical score.

@@TheDarksweeney Only Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry can convincingly play a couple of badass assassins in their mid-thirties, despite being over 50 in real life.
Halle Berry's character (sorry I forget the name) asked John Wick years earlier to help hide her daughter. She wanted her daughter to be safe, and to live outside the life her mother lives in. Also, her daughter could be used as leverage against the mother, should anyone know about her. By some stroke of luck, the High Table never knew she had a daughter. Only John knows, and he is the one who hid her away. When the dog got shot, he was wearing a Kevlar vest, that is why he was ok. He still felt the bullet strike, hence his yelp. The guy who shot him not only didn't know the vest was bulletproof, but he also didn't know the vest held a pistol. BTW, the dogs are Belgian Malinous. (Mal-in-wahs)
Halle Berry spent months with the dogs and training with them prior to shooting the movie, she even became a trainer for them during that, and it really shows off in the movie. That, ALONG with the martial arts training AND the same weapons training Keanu did, it's a sign of her commitement to the movie.
He probably would’ve died if he didn’t hit all those things on the way down to slow him down. Plus they have that bulletproof suit on when Winston shot him. Which Winston knew that as well so I’m pretty certain he’s still on John’s side
To be fair, fellow old guys, the 1980's were 30-40 years ago. When we were teenagers we probably thought of the 50's and 60's as the olden days, although I'm too old to remember.
The tall assassin is Boban Marjanović, an NBA Center who was with the Dallas Mavericks at the time. All 7'3 of him. in John Wick 2, the huge japanese assassin was Ryūichi Yamamoto, who once was the heaviest Japanese-born sumo wrestler in sumo history, but was retired when he was cast in JW 2.
That scene where he's building that revolver really shows how John was constantly out of time. Spent a solid 60 seconds just trying to get the thing to fire and he was able to get one shot off.
The two guys who John Wick fights simultaneously at the end are legendary stunt performers in Indonesia. There is a film series called The Raid with the best fight choreography of any films in history. John Wick is basically Hollywood making a big budget Americanized take on The Raid style action choreography. They put those guys in this movie as a sort of nod to their influence. If you dig this kind of movie watch The Raid and The Raid 2. So much fun.
MVP: Halle Berry! Maybe you figured out, when the dog jumped on Halle Berry's back and scaled that wall to the top, the canine was NOT CG. There are a couple of videos of Halle training and working with those two dogs. Can find them on RUclips
33:08 He spared their lives because they fought with honor and could've finished him once but didn't. He tried the same with Zero but Zero wanted to fight to the death
The two Indonesian guys are actors from The Raid: Redemption. John spares them because Keanu said they were too cool to kill so they changed the script so he'd leave them alive.
I'm more of a cat guy, and even I get it. The last gift from a dead spouse who was the only good thing to happen to them. It could've been a table, and I still would've understood.
You mentioned wondering why Halle Berry didn't want to kill John to get the bounty. One of the rules of their society is that you can't kill the bearer of your marker.
the elder lives in the middle of the desert, it'll gonna take a ton of years before they will able to get to the exact loction of the elder, which is, the possible exact location would be where the first assassin's place according to their history (i said "their" because a lot of textbooks pinpointed numerous theories where the first assassin first born or made"
Not only are we getting John Wick 4 which is out next spring but John Wick 5 has already been commissioned and is expected to start filming next June/July .
The concierge's name is pronounced (Ka-Ron). He's named after the ferryman from Greek mythology who takes people from the human world to the Underworld as long as you give him a gold coin. It may not simply be the dog that triggered both Wick and Sofia, it's what the dog represents to them. For wick, it was his wife's final gift to him. For Sofia, that story is still unclear.
The actor who plays the Adjudicator, Asia Kate Dillon, identifies as non-binary and uses the singular “they” pronoun. They suggested to Reeves and Stahelski that the character be non-binary as well, and they agreed.
if winston was trying to kill wick wick would be dead, you really think that winston didnt know about wicks bullet proofing? he wouldve aimed for the head
Fun trivia about the dogs. They had small green (apparently the green was easier to erase from the frames) bite-able little pillows that they trained the dogs to bite. When they wanted the dogs to attack, and bite the person in a particular spot, they just attached the toy to that spot, and they would get the exact behavior they wanted from the dogs.
1:53 I love your optimism, but it certainly does exists today, though it is bit rare as in most countries the police will interfere with bounty hunters.
I think Winston knew he couldn't kill him, or it was planned out. He has a bulletproof suit, and I assume he knows his own building well enough to know those impacts would barely kill him.
Winston shooting John was on purpose to give John an exit. Winston is still on his side. Notice how he purposefully aimed for center mass each time for the armor to work.
Had read a fanfic reference that Winston could be John's father in law which would put a spin on it. Don't know how much credence to give that. As others have said, had Winston wanted to kill him it would have been one shot to the head, not multiple shots to his "armor "
Mareeeeee...I signed up for your Patreon because I watched the first two on RUclips tonight and couldn't wait for you to post the 3rd...I had to watch it right away. You're a big nerd, but I love it.
Keanu Reeves didn't made all his stunts, but he made several of them, he trained Jiu Jitsu and competitive shooting for this movie, and so did Halley Berry.
Saw something about year ago, around 6:11 all the glass in that scene is CG. They did it so well that even knowing it's all CG, I still can't really tell.
That big guy he fights in the library is a basketball player in the U.S. called Boban Marjanovic...all 7 feet 4 inches of him. He did such a good job in that fight sequence.
You NEED to see these films starring the three main fighting villains: for the duo, The Raid 1 and 2 (maybe the best action films ever), and, for Mark Dacascos, Drive from 1997, a hugely underrated buddy action comedy.
Drive is so goddamn good. I never knew anyone who ever heard of it. It's fantastic - both in the action sequences, the bizarre comedy and the late great Brittany Murphy.
Winston knew shooting John was the only way to get him off the roof alive, he also knew his tactics, so would have assumed he had armour on. There's a few references to Keanu's filmography & characters in JW2 & 3. Keanu has said he wants to play John Wick for as long as they allow him to, & I think it's the role he was born to play. Matrix 4: Resurrections & John Wick 4 should have been released on the same day late 2020, but with covid lockdowns, they were unable to film them consecutively as specific locations were on lockdown.
Place your Bets Everyone, Whose gonna die first in the 4th Film, Charon and Winston? The adjudicator? or someone from The High Table? or maybe The Elder ?(Since John Failed to kill Winston as they agreed on)
Not just John Wick 4. They've always planned to do 5. (perhaps unless studios pull the plug before then) Also a tv series about The Continental, plus a spin off movie about the Ballerina. They've got their whoooole universe going on.
The black Continental manager is the boss of a special FBI unit in my second favourite TV show ever, Fringe. It's only 4 seasons, with a seudo spin off fifth season, so could be reacted to on the channel.
Halle Berry and her dogs is my favorite part of this. Second, Laurence Fishburne, being pissed off. I love it. And last I love Asia Kate Dillon as the "Ice Queen", no nonsense, Adjudicator. Oh and Captain Daniels gets to fight. Again Halle Berry!
As long as there's an audience interest, I highly doubt there's gona be an end to John wick movies in the near future. And the 4th one has a very high chance of being yet another successful part of the series......
Mary Mary lol you hurt my feeling’s with that robocop olden days line PMSL 🤣,,I grew up with those movies in the 80s/90s lol but I totally agree with you xxx
If you check…I believe the old woman is Angelica Huston…famous family…and Casablanca was home to Halle Berry…and the Bowery King is John Wick’s Matrix compadre’…the manager of the Continental was in a western tv show called DEADWOOD…by the way, if you ever see a movie called HERO…with Dustin Hoffman you will see a reference to GET YOUR AFFAIRS IN ORDER…
If anything, the lack of abs is so realistic for a man that left the life to become a married man. That pasta made with love starts to show really soon.
Get your affairs in order is what a doctor normally tells someone when the life expectancy is down to a short timeframe. Winston was going to be replaced when retired with a bullet.
It was definitely a risky play. There's no way in hell Winston *knew* without a doubt John would survive that fall. He wronged John for his own personal gain, whether or not he *hoped* the fall wouldn't be fatal. I'm kind of disappointed in his character but not surprised lol
he definitely knew but that doesn't mean he didn't want to kill him, getting shot that many times would definitely kill you even if its even where the body armor is
@@houseofaction Winston didn't want him dead lol. They're LONG time friends. If he wanted him dead, he'd shoot him in the head. Not say sorry and casually shoot him in the bullet resistant clothing a few times to shove him back towards the edge of the roof lol.

You need to watch, Nobody, next. Same universe, same writers and director. You'll love it.
But with Saul Goodman

Place your Bets Everyone, Whose gonna die first in the 4th Film, Charon and Winston? The adjudicator? or someone from The High Table? or maybe The Elder ?(Since John Failed to kill Winston as they agreed on)
Not just John Wick 4. They've always planned to do 5. (perhaps unless studios pull the plug before then) Also a tv series about The Continental, plus a spin off movie about the Ballerina.
They've got their whoooole universe going on.
I'd love to see a quick crossover scene with Keanu and Bob Odenkirk from the film Nobody. That would be fun even if it was just a quick cameo!
The black Continental manager is the boss of a special FBI unit in my second favourite TV show ever, Fringe.
It's only 4 seasons, with a seudo spin off fifth season, so could be reacted to on the channel.
Cedric Daniels - The Wire
What’s the fifth season?
These are the most highly trained dogs I've ever seen!
This one was pretty cool because that's the same doctor I think from the second matrix that also fixed him up
When he puts his own gun together its a nod to The Good the Bad and The Ugly, where Tuko makes the gun from other guns then holds up the store owner.
I think so too Mary that they are going to take down the high table where Winston, the Bowery king and WIck run the assassins.
John wick is either the grim reaper or the personification of death.
Keanu has said that he will continue to film John Wick movies as long as the fans want them.
*"Si* *vis* *pacem,* *para* *bellum"*
And Coming Soon: John Wick 4
Halle Berry and her dogs is my favorite part of this. Second, Laurence Fishburne, being pissed off. I love it. And last I love Asia Kate Dillon as the "Ice Queen", no nonsense, Adjudicator. Oh and Captain Daniels gets to fight. Again Halle Berry!
Lots of us were surprised that it wasn’t going to be a trilogy. I guess they decided not to end a very successful series.
As long as there's an audience interest, I highly doubt there's gona be an end to John wick movies in the near future. And the 4th one has a very high chance of being yet another successful part of the series......
Well to be fair John was retired for a couple of years and if you don't keep training muscles fade
Mary Mary lol you hurt my feeling’s with that robocop olden days line PMSL 🤣,,I grew up with those movies in the 80s/90s lol but I totally agree with you xxx
Fun fact. All the breakable glass in this movie was cgi, for the safety of the actors and stuntmen, and to make resetting shots easier.
23:23 Altair: i shall have you know, that I was a badass with one finger missing
John wick 3 is a roller coster love the video Mary stay motivated dream big 1 mill on the way
If anything, the lack of abs is so realistic for a man that left the life to become a married man. That pasta made with love starts to show really soon.

The doggo had a bulletproof vest harness on and that guy shot the vest thingy so that’s why the doggo survived
Get your affairs in order is what a doctor normally tells someone when the life expectancy is down to a short timeframe. Winston was going to be replaced when retired with a bullet.
I can’t believe Morticia got stabbed through the hands!
The dogs deserve their own movie.
People keep saying that Winston only shot him in his body armour, but how could he calculate John survivng the fall?
Plot armor, he just knew lol
