Hi from South Africa. If you are in Reunion you can enjoy Mauritius and after that you can visit Nosy Bee (sp) which is North western Madagascar. Calm waters and yachts a plenty. Richards Bay has a nice yacht harbour. Glad you made it across Indian ocean with no hassles. Love your channel tooo much, watching every one. Enjoy yourselves and keep safe.

Our daughter went through 3 rounds of IVF, many inplants and last viable embryo was succesful. She has now got pregnant naturely when she had a 6 month old! Never give up. 😊

You did the right thing Bonita by your own standards, you also know how to tap into your intuition, don’t ever doubt that beautiful trait of being a woman and a mother. I recall watching Delos years ago out in that Indian Ocean, they were in 55 Knots of wind, it’s not for the faint hearted or inexperienced sailors. Yosh did good for full preparation, and you could see his serious side kick in just before the passage.
Yahoo your on your way.. Tip: Delos always lifted there tender at night, every night so it would not be stolen by those that feel they need it more than you, travel safe.

Good to hear the crossing went well. Nicely managed. You would do well to make use of your SAn contacts at every turn. Its more than the weather that can be volatile there, so some insider info and guidance should keep you safe when exploring this wonderful (mostly) country.

a friend of mine from high school in the USA has lived the better part of these last 20 years living and running her own business in Bali and she loves it there.
Yosh be very careful when surfing in South Africa. If you surf in Durban you are in the safest place to surf in the whole of South Africa because the entire bay from north to south has shark nets which keep all sharks but particularly the great white sharks outside of the bay, beyond the breaking surf. On most days you can surf with wave heights being 2 to 4 metres in height on a regular basis. Elsewhere along the South African coast the danger from shark attack is quite high. I got a ride hitch-hiking down the west coast of South Africa. The driver was a high school teacher. He said in the past year three of his teenage students had serious leg injuries from shark attacks.

So so happy that Reunion Island has a barber shop. You look so so so much better. Congratulations on the crossing. Be careful in the Madagascar area. I have sailed this area extensively delivering boats. There is so much theft and my advice is never leave the boat alone. South Africa, Cape Town is beautiful and you can get much done and repaired there. Fairwinds......to all

Hi guys. Just a quick pick you up. I'm a mum of 2 fantastic (now adult) kids. Had my first miscarriage at 14 weeks then waited fell pregnant with my son 1 year later. After a couple of years started trying for baby 2 at 35 years. 10 miscarriages later and fertility drugs burning a hole in my pocket, I fell pregnant with my daughter. 6 years between them, that's a lot of practice, but that time with my son was perfect. 6 years old he was really ready for a sibling. They are now the greatest support system for each other, that I couldn't ask for more. Trust the universe. It will happen when it is right for all of you. Good luck keep practicing, practicing makes perfect. Safe travels and love to you all. P. S l tried fishing on yosh's recommendation and cleaned up on squid. 😊

I'm doing a refit atm to my 53ft ( SE QLD) but am otherwise pretty green re sailing . Insurance is being a huge minefield for me and basically i'm getting nowhere with zero replies or a flat no from them . Could you do a video on this , is it a legal requirement in international waters and all the ins and outs ? We see lots of repairs etc on many yt channels but not much of the general logistics and basic advice as it seems to be assumed everyone is already a seasoned sailor . 😊
