A wonderful sight to see M15 and F23 return to their nest home. I believe we saw M last week. Let the joy begin as the gifts and privilege of observing this pair is immense and immeasurable. ❤🎉🦅
@ptnickb9272. The cams went live on the afternoon of 9-16, and no eagles were in cam view. They came to the nest tree late afternoon on 9-17, this video. I am local, and do ground videos. I first saw M15 starting on 8-28. Here is my Season 13 playlist, which includes my ground videos of M15 and F23: ruclips.net/p/PLLulU0fH2lXL-Kuzkrwx-_HMjVm9IwOhQ&si=gpTOd9cQU9pO6PgY
F23 is stunning and M, well he’s magnificent. They have this nest building down to a science! M15 already working on the wonky stick and beaking at the log. Can’t wait to see the magnificent, cozy nest they build together for their littles. Thank you so very much Androcat for putting this video together. 💜🦅🦅💜
@heidihybicki3827. Yes, they will move it or, more likely, cover it with nesting material. It is a dead branch, so it may or may not be too heavy to move, just too awkward (large) to move with their beaks. We shall see what they do! 🦅💜🦅
@barbaradougherty3528. I still miss Harriet ❣️ every day, and she will always have a place in my heart. F23 can only be F23, just as M15 can only be M15, not Ozzie. I hope you can make room for F23 in your heart. Without a mate in place before last season started, M15 may have lost his territory to any pair that came along and challenged for it. F23 was the strongest of the females that showed up, and guarded the territory all last summer. 🙏🏻💙
I imagine the conversation was like this. M15 Hunny I appreciate you helping bring in nesting materials, but did you have to place the log in the middle of the bedroom. F23 replied you don’t like it move it, but remember I’m in charge. 😊. All kidding aside These two look in-synch, they haven’t missed a beat. 🦅
What a Beautiful sight to see the Wonderful return of Our Magestics M15 and F23 ❤❤Looking Great, Healthy and all set for Season 13!! ❤...Always a Precious sight to see both 🙏💙💕 Beautiful F23 in Prime condition looking Fresh and Radiant , Sure has Beautiful Talons and Mighty M15 looking Cool and Hansom ❤...We can't be Happier at this sight and Wish this Very Special and Dear nest the Very Best, Success, Safety and Good health ❤️ Androcat Thankyou so very much My friend for sharing this Fabulous news Thanking the Pritchett Family and csm ops wishing you and all friends a Wonderful blessed evening/day ❤️💕💙🙏🦅🌟🥰
@@androcat12 They sure were Androcat 🤗♥️🌹 Especially her feet!! F23 must be going for Eagle pedicures 🤣😂♥️ So perfect and clean lol 😆..Thankyou Androcat big hugs my friend 🥰😻❣💝🤗
Welcoming a new season for the SWFL Eagle Nest. Slightly reminiscent of old school Home Improvement (a little humor with a diligent yet silly husband, but very serious wife) and modern day, Fixer Upper (Look out Chip and Joanna!) Where beautifully paired M15 and F23 will be working together to renovate their nest and preparing for a promising future for their new offspring. In this first episode you will see them admiring their domain, assessing conditions of the nest, and realizing the first issue at hand may be the big ol' log, sitting smack dab in the middle! Initial attempts to aerate it and move it aside have failed... Will they move it, or will it become a 'fixture', you know, a focal point? Continue watching to find out!! 😆 Thank you so much @Androcat, you rock!!❤
Such magnificent birds. Watching over their domain. So looking forward to the thrills they’ll bring us this season. Thanks Androcat another great video❤
Beakies galore! 🤣 How did that big log end up in the middle of the nest? A bit of a nuisance during incubation, I would imagine! Maybe there will be some joined efforts to push it to one side!
@Luceforall. Always the nipping/beaking 😁! F23 snapped the dead large branch and brought it in. It is probably too awkward to move with their beaks, and will likely just get buried with nest material. We shall see! 🦅🦅
Hi Andrewcat... With the return of live cams and great specs I hope we have a great season together. What surprised me was how this big branch was moved to the middle of the nest. How powerful is the M15?❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
@ingridruiz-meijer6089. I am guessing what you are seeing is M15 with an open beak to pant. They pant to cool off, as they do not sweat. It is very hot here still, with heat indexes getting over 100 some days. The eagles seek shade to perch, and limit nest work for now to early morning, or not at all. He knows what to do, and he is fine. 🦅🦅
@spassosrj. The thick branch cannot be removed (by law). It should be fine. The eagles will move it, or more likely, just cover it with nest material. M15 and F23 will start more serious work on nest building soon, in October. For now, they are doing light work and bringing in a few materials. 🦅🦅
@bextra1968. During a naming contest for the eaglets, Season 2, little E3 (first hatched eaglet that season), died unexpectedly from unknown causes. The Pritchett family (cam owners) decided at that time to use a number system moving forward. M15 (male 2015) and F23 (female 2023) denote the sex of the eagle and year they became the mate at the nest. The eaglets are numbered, and the first hatch this season will be E24, and so on.

@PriscillaD225. YW 🙂. I love nest building, and am looking forward to seeing the finished project also! 💜🦅🦅💜
Nice to see, they’ll end up moving F23’s “log” when making the bowl for eggs 🤞 😅

I'm still not over Harriet there will never be another one could take her place

Terri Stauffer. Too funny! Leave it to snap happy F23 to bring in a room divider for the future E's. 😉💜
I really love them ❤❤

Actually it was F23 who brought that log into the nest; was shown in an earlier video.
F23 brought the log to the nest, so we have 2 powerhouses here, lol

@azizmuhidd4231. They surprise us every season with the size/length of branches they can bring in! That was F23's handiwork. 🦅🦅
F23 needs some help with his beak He can't close the beak ❤❤😢
I meant the male

Is there a reason why they don’t have names? Just curious…
