- An unexpected adventure from Paris to Chamonix in the first episode of the Chamonix Diaries series! In search of thrilling treks, we decided to take a cost-effective route, traveling from Paris to Annecy before reaching our ultimate destination. As we arrived in Annecy by train, a bit behind schedule, we embarked on a bus journey to Chamonix.
Excitement turned into disappointment when we discovered that the Lac Blanc trek, one of our favorite spots, was closed due to bad weather. Determined not to let it dampen our spirits, we headed to the tourist office in Chamonix to explore alternative activities and create a new plan.
As evening approached, we treated ourselves to a delightful local dinner at a charming brewery, savoring the flavors of the region. Little did we know that our journey would take an unexpected turn. Exploring the town further, we stumbled upon a hidden gem-a picturesque small lake nestled within the beauty of Chamonix.

@@jackinbangkok I don't remember the exact number. But you can find a lot of busses on FlixBus or Blablabus. Happy journey!
