Goatfell via Mullach Buidhe and North Goatfell

- Hiking up Goaftell from Corrie, via Mullach Buidhe and North Goatfell, going round the Stacach ridge over the bypass path cos I'm a big feartie. Or because I'm an inexperienced climber with mobility issues after having had a big fall in the late 1980s. The sensible choice. But I'm still a big feartie. If I'd been with someone more experienced I'd like to have done some scrambling over the ridge top, but not on my own.
I've been up Goatfell many times -- it's Arran's highest peak at 874m -- but I'd never been up this way before. I came back down the tourist path a bit until it forks off into Corrie and it was very busy indeed.

I spent a beautiful week in the house just as you drove into Corrie (before the left turn off the main road). And what a magical time we had on Arran. We also summited Goatfell from Corrie and only saw one other person.

How long is the walk along to North Goatfell from Goatfell? Was thinking on walking over to it if I've got time.
It's not far, but it is a bit exposed in places. I've never scrambled over the ridge, just taken the bypass route on the east side a couple of times. There's also a bypass on the west side that I've never taken so I'm not sure what like that is. Probably allow 30 to 45 mins to be on the safe side.
