You saw this one as soon as it came out! Hope all well. You're in Owensboro, right? Did I remember that correctly?

This one was more like it, Doug! Thanks for highlighting the newer slab, I haven't even seen or heard of that yet. Curious if I'll get one on my current order... I think the Vic Harris is a beauty. I know many can't stand the print dots but to me it's trivial. I prefer sharp cards as pack-fresh as possible - so if I can get one undergraded (to me!), I am all in. The fish eyes, dots, wax on the back don't bother me at all if it's pack-fresh. Great stuff, looking forward to part 3...

Yeah the new slab caught me by surprise. It was weird in that the T206 wasn't in it. And the last few subs, the slabs will be mixed even with the same size cards. I personally like the new standard slabs +RL1 (the R and L are backward), but they pulled them and haven't given an update. Yet, I still see them randomly. They weigh roughly 57-58 grams where the T1 (regular new Lighthouse slab) comes in at approx 43g, a good bit lighter. And these new new ones that held my early Bowmans, weighed around 68g. It would be nice to start to see some consistency.
And I am pretty tolerant of the fisheyes on '75's as long as they are off to the side or somewhat hidden/blended. It's hard enough to shoot for well centered copies. :)

The T206 looked a little skinny, but may be worth measuring against another T206 and resubmitting? If you're interested in a trade, let me know what you're looking for.

I thought I had measured the T206 prior to subbing, but I may not have. I'll think on the trade idea. Maybe we can start a conversation and see what happens? My email is in the About section of my channel page. I appreciate you watching!

To me the T206 doesn't look aged.

I think it's good from that POV. All I know is it's a beautiful card and for me, a head scratcher.

@@VintageBaseballCorner That's what I mean. It looks too good to be old. Could it be a faked print?

@@riverview9320 No, it's authentic. It could have been in a screwdown, or maybe he messed with a corner, soaked it to get glue or gum off, or something like that? But it looks and feels normal, so who knows...
