Hi, I’ve only recently found your pond build here on RUclips. Its looking fantastic mate, you’ve done a superb job so far. Looking forward to watch it thru to the end. Good luck and you’ll be enjoying it soon enough….. 👍🏼

just my 2 pence worth, I would fit ball valves on each return, one reason is to adjust the flow and secondly anything happens to that pipework on the outside or you want to modify the pipe work for what ever reason your ponds going to need to be drained nearly all the way down.

Your 100% right I just wasn't thinking when I first connected up the returns. But what iv done to isolate then that I forgot to say in video is there will be a ball valve after the UV to the returns so if I need to chang pump or UV or modify pipes in filter house I can at least isolate that. Not perfect but slightly better than none lok

I'm starting to dig out for a new pond myself for my koi, and i was wondering if you had a opition on the pro's and con's on the solid block work you have used on your pond build verses the hollow block and filled with concrete and re-bar. But i'm enjoying the build so far.

Coming on nicely budd. R u lining it or f. Glass. Nice when complete it will be.

Box welded liner as it's not a complete concrete build I can't fiberglass that was the plan all along to keep cost down at today's material prices. :)
