    • @Steve0verton
      @Steve0verton 4 года назад +2

      I can respond to this.... On the West Side you had Donald Archie, Tookie, Bulldog etc. Maddog, Melvin Hardy, Monk, Pookie the list goes on... On the East Side you had Raymond, Craig, Dude out the Gardens, lol and more cats... Like Donald mentioned my Dad Lil Tommie Welch and my uncle Big John Seales who weren't Crips or Bloods but E/S Wall Nuts. They were a bridge between the Swans and Mains to the North and Mains and Avalons to the South.
      You can't mention Tookie without saying Donald Sweetbac Archie. And you can't mention Raymond without saying Bulldog.

      "Blood" was invented in 1974. but it wasnt really fully developed up until 1979, thats when most gangs started calling themselfes bloods. And it morphed into what we know today as bloods, another powerhouse opposing the crips, in the mid or late 80s. In the early 80s blood were still badly outnumbered in prison and on the streets

      @JonothanSanchez .......wrong! the crips “went” to the West side bcuz at about that time the white folks were finally allowin black folks to migrate West ..past the 110 freeway. so at that time black folks started rentin apartments and buyin homes on the West Side. 💯
