As a newcomer to your channel, I'd recommend units (mm or cm) to the paper when you hold up a number. It took me a few episodes to realise that holding up a square of paper with a "3" means 3mm thick.

However, the marking of the pasta machine steps varies from company to company. Step 7 is the thickest step and step 1 is the thinnest step. You can work similarly. It doesn't have to be the same.

The only thing I can figure from it is like if you took a slice or dissection of a type of cane plant and this would be a result?? Or is it to show how to create this look in something like those cross sections that are made from hard candy that is stretched and cut into a particular image?? I'm lost. Oops...I guess I should have finished watching before commenting. My bad. Great design!!

you could really keep looping this process, make the color, make the rose, and use that rose to make a new one. Just keep repeating it until you either get much darker colors than you started with or to where the design starts to get lost on the petals.

Well... all crafts require a period of proficiency. I've been working with Polymer Clay about 8 hours a day for over 18 years. You will also develop proficiency with practice. You don't have to practice as much as I do. With a little practice, you can make the perfect cane
Have you ever done a skinner blend? Or in this case, a skinner rainbow blend? You only need to use three colors- red, yellow, blue, and you get the same gradient you have.

You've tried polymer clay!! :) This tutorial is intended to make roses easy. I think it will be completed in a better shape if you, the experienced person, make it. I don't know much about music. I just used it for good listening music :)

@@clayzoo in my opinion maple leaf don't look like hemp , they are very different ... i have seen maple and hemp cane made before but none would even come close to the level of detail you produce . thank you i enjoy very much what you share and teach

저는 조금 덜 눌리나봐요. 칼을 갈아서 사용해야 하는데 너무 날카로우면 손을 자주 다쳐서 10년째 그냥 사용하고 있어요 :)

If it’s polymer, look up “old polymer clay conditioning” and you should get some tutorials on how to revive it!
