Any classes that doesnt require crit or hit chance and isnt gear independent (dot classes) is in a different league. Not sure how blizzard forseen this as balanced. Also they used to be fine at some point when you rewind it a bit back in classic. Death coil only used to do damage and heal. It never used to fear in terror. I dont remember which patch they implemented the terror but its far back. All the nubcakes on the forum cried how they had no defense mechanics vs melee classes so they gave a 3 sec instant fear on it. Take it with a grain of salt. The game doesnt really require skills.

It's well known that SL Warlocks dominate in 1v1 duels. But I think the restrictions & allowances meant to somewhat-balance each class were pretty good. This is the first time anything like this has been done in Classic WoW (excluding the much smaller, less restricted Beta Tournaments). Overall the final scores weren't that far off from one another (certain classes, i.e. warriors, had fewer wins overall, but that was to be expected). Snutz & Nazgrul are just extremely good, high level players who understand tgis game inside and out. I'd say the same for Xaryu, Venruki, Soda, Bean, ect... Maybe they'll have a winner from each class next time.

There’s ALOT of room for error on a lock. It’s a bit gross. Other classes literally cannot make a mistake or it’s over. They need to find a way to balance this in the rules somehow.

But unless the rules are adjusted to make up for the lock’s ability to make a multitude of mistakes and still win, I doubt we will be seeing other classes getting past them. TBH this tournament was lackluster in terms of skill... these players are good but they are not great, ive seen far better duelists then what i saw in this tournament... many mistakes or bad moves from almost every player... im not talking bad about them, but there are way better 1v1 classic players out there who have been practicing 1v1 on strictly classic wow for 10+ years... then you have these guys who have been playing retail for the last 10 years, and dont have much time or experience on classic... im not being rude just telling the real truth... trust me wen i say there are ppl out there who are far more experienced in classic wow 1v1 they just arent famous...

Nick Kersey Nah. Rogues are incredibly powerful in world pvp but not in duels. Mages are great in both, but Warlocks are monumentally better.
