Do agents appreciate the amount of work you put into your shots. Most agents seem to be happy with anything better than what an iPhone can take.

My agents demand the best and yes they see the difference..

Awesome video Rich as always. I always look forward to your videos. Again, I'm super bummed I can not do the 3 day workshop down in LA.

WILL DO! I can't wait. If you need a SLAVE to help out (in L.A.) with moving grip, holding flags and gobo's or anything like that? I would be over the moon to help. I'll even put gaffers tape on my mouth.LOL and by the way I live in Turlock.

What do you set your white balance too?

    • @RichBaum

      Always Auto

Rich Baum so when I use auto white balance all of my flash shoots are super warm. Any suggestions?

As I shoot RAW if really doesn't matter what they look like as I will adjust WB in processing.. and sure you can also set your Kelvin Temp for each shot but that would take too much time.. Honestly Auto just works for me.

Love your video! Got a question which you might have mention somewhere already. When you switch between ambient shot and flash shot, how do you control or turn off the flash? Turn off the flash power then turn it back on? Thank!!

I just turn off my trigger. I also have a video which shows you how you can use a second trigger to adjust your lights withough touching the on camera trigger.

Cool video! Since the first shot is just ambient light, why not use ISO 100? You would get less noise, right? The only downside would be a longer exposure...

You are correct, if you want to take that extra step then you should do it, but for most of us, our cameras have virtually no noise even at ISO 400..

how much do you over expose by because sometime i over expose it but it still doesnt work i guess its my own technique. but like a stop over or ?

    • @RichBaum

Every photo depends on what parts of the ambient I want / plan to use..
