My favorite place in Puerto Rico.... Giligans Island... Gallina De Palo were flexing at eachother, that’s what they do. That island with the strong current acts like a lazy river, I did it with a floatie.

Wow guilligans island survived the hurricane! Damn that's so good! & Those mangreeves are strong i use to jump from what looks like the same one every year almost since i was a kid!
One of the main reasons of why there are so many iguanas around the island is because many people brought them as pets and when they became too big and were not able to take care of them, they release them. The conditions on the island are perfect for them so they took over it, they eat pretty much everything people plant. There are so many around my house. I actually love them, they make me feel like I have dinosaurs in my backyard. 😂😁
@@JumpingPlaces Some of them won't run away, I think they are getting bored of us humans (^▽^). I even have to capture a few and move them to other places, because they get too close to where my dogs are and they eat them. I don't want that. ( 〇□〇)
I also definitely recommend Playa Sucia (La Playuela) in Cabo Rojo. Not only do you have a GREAT beach, but it's right next to the spectacular cliff views from the area surrounding the lighthouse.

Hello Chris and Carol. Thank you for visiting Ponce, Gilligan's Island (Guánica) and Playa Buye (Luquillo)! This is a 2020 update about Puerto Rico. On January 7, at 4:24am, Puerto Rico was rocked by a powerful 6.4 earthquake, leaving houses and structures collapsed with more than 5,000 people homeless (and still today!). The most affected municipalities were Guánica, Yauco, Guayanilla, Peñuelas and Ponce. Now, the water on Gilligan rose 2-3ft above normal, meaning that the island "sank" after the earthquake. I had the opportunity to visit Gilligan last year (2019) and it is beautiful as seen in this video. Also, the church in Ponce (seen at 1:20), got very damaged inside (because of earthquake) and now it's inaccessible. It is possible to be demolished for remodeling, but the Priest has confirmed that there is no confirmed demolition yet. Hope you may see this comment after almost 2 years 😆 Regards, ENAS🇵🇷
@@JumpingPlaces No. I don't live there, but in the future if you visit us again I have some recomendations of places that you can visit. I live in Vega Baja, is in the north part of Puerto Rico.
Yup. They are not native and eat our native fauna. They are taking over Puerto Rico. Also people in some places of the island eat them.....they say it tastes like chicken.
