Adi & Myra, recently I was looking for ideas in RUclips for next summer to drive around European countries in my own car and this is when your video pop up, since then I start watching your videos and after watching one, keep popping another video and I end up to watch another because of it's soothing and good quality, Good work 👏 👏 Wish u 2 very best from Ireland 🇮🇪.
The coastal region behind the sea dunes in the Netherlands between Haarlem and Leiden is called "bulb region" (Bollenstreek). Well I drove there today to get to an appointment in Noordwijk. The fields of these bulb farmers were rife with flowers. Predominantly tulips flowering abundantly. The occasional hyacinth field growing towards full bloom when it releases the perfume. The products of these farmers are the bulbs, actually. This is why, as Myra described in the video, the flowers are chopped off the stems - these cannot be sold. After the harvest of the bulbs, these are peeled a bit, inspected for diseases and packaged, labeled and exported. The soil in this region is extremely poor in a way and does not retain water a long time after rain, so rot doesn't happen to the bulbs - ideal. The downside may be that lots of pesticides and herbicides are used there in order to produce as many "healthy" bulbs as possible. What is most annoying, when you live in the region and need to go places, tourists driving around as if they don't need to be somewhere any time soon, hitting the brakes as soon as they see a field of flowers, and seeing hordes of tourists walk through farm fields to take their version of photographs that everybody has been taken for ages.
This video is older, but I haven't seen it in the comments- the root part of the tulip in English is called a bulb. And OK- you said it later in the video. I smile, as I am learning nederlands, and I hear Myra's Dutch coming through her English. Maak je geen zorgen voor dat- Ik weet dat ik vele fouten ook doen. :-)
Hello, thank you guys for always supporting us.🙏🙏 Sometimes we are working with the hotel or Airbnb so we get to exchange service with them, but in this video we were at Myra's parents and while sup boarding it was at their boat house. So we got lucky this time. Haha
I am obsessed with your videos, you guys enlightened my mood always...
Wouh thanks 😍

Ja je hebt helemaal gelijk. Ze konden net zo goed prentbriefkaarten ervan kopen
We've been to Lisse last week, there's a lot of small fields blooming there. Looks like they are blossoming later this year due to the cold weather.
Yes, that might be a possible reason. But we can't wait until they are fully bloomed! :D
Great work getting 'behind the scenes' of tulip processing!
Thanks buddy, yes it was really interesting to see the whole process. Really cool!
Nice shooting.. You both looking good.
Through your video I enjoyed Tulips farm and background windmills.
