The greatest thing I find with the spotter scope is it negates my extreme color blindness which makes it very hard for me to see players. Select thermal view and I can see them easily.
@@flipmemax as much as possible I'm using thermal scopes. I'm also 64 years old and I don't think I've met other older people playing. The colour problem is not age related, it's been with me forever.

If you take someones dog tag and drop it somewhere, does it still show up on the other teams map since your not holding it anymore? If it does, might be a good baiting idea. Also, is there a sniper rifle that can one shot a 3-plate player? Great video btw. recently got back into this game and looking forward to playing it again
Yeah it still show the circle on the map, you could ambush a team with the tags if you want! Basically the MCPR, FJX and Victus can be turned into a 1shot sniper by using the Explosive ammo. I prefer high velocity tho, makes it much easier to hit targets!
Hi Flip, like your content, dude. My go to sniper is an MCPR. As I do not play solo, I have kitted it out not for ultra long range (useless in my opinion). More in a support kind of role, medium glint scope, that sort of thing. Thanks for the vids and the pointers. It made me an ok sniper now...
explosive rounds alert ai, which can be fatal to a solo player. The extra velocity on the high velocity rounds make you stay hidden to AI, and allow you to make much easier follow up shots. As you may have noticed, even with explosive, you still rarely hit that one shot kill, so it's just not worth it. I'd take the accuracy and less bullet drop over the one shot any day. You're aiming up in the sky to just hit a body shot anyways, might as well just change the gun for quicker kills imo
I very much agree with you my dude! I did a video with explosive rounds, because a lot of people do play with them. So I figured lets give them a decent build. But yeah, my preference goes to high velocity as well!
how do you know the distance is 600 meters in corio13 times if you already know it is 600 meters when you open the spoter? before, you did an experiment to find out where the bullet fell
I knew the distance was 600m because I checked the distance on the spotter scope. I then proceed to aim up to where I think where the bullet will drop, the first shot I take I hit my target but only hit his body so I knew I had to adjust my aim and aim even further up. The first shot was a guess
I'm your huge fan Max! The corio 13x is really an amazing optic. Do you know what are those readings stand for on that optic? 3, 10, 12, 15. What are those markings?
You really don't need a thermal scope for that, just find him with the spotter scope and snipe him from outside the radiation with any scope. Done it many times, very easy

I’m already a. Sniper in DMZ i copped the roze bundle for that sniper mcpr and the uav perfect combo I usually get 7-8 operator kills

Good advice on the spotter scope. However, while they are rare, they CAN be found on the map as a pick up.
So rare you can barely find them. So better just to take one in with you cause all the other stuff is easy to find

Sometime there is Spotter Scope in the train (both of them). Not guaranteed but I’ve already found a lot of them there.

You can 100% find and loot spotter scopes in game. They are rare, but they are there.
Extremely rare.. while other stuff is not.. so its not worth it to go look for one 😉

I thought the spotter gives enemies a "spotted" notification? Happens to me alot. Unless everyone has a shit ton of recon drones.
Haha yeah naah, its only the recon drone or snapshot grenades that notify you. Spotter scope doesnt.
