  • In this video I show you the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD SUV. The Santa Fe gets several changes for the 2023 model year including the discontinuation of the SEL Convenience trim. In the Limited, its pretty much status quo however. The design remains largely unchanged from the 2021 model year. Let me know what you think of the Santa Fe in the comments below!

    Wow. Was trying to decide between SEL or Limited and think I’ve decided on the Limited after watching this. I’ve been driving a Genesis coupe for 9 years (which I’ll be keeping as my baby) but the leather seats are HARD and not comfortable. These look much more comfortable. Looks like only bad thing on this trim is the lack of wireless apple car play. Thanks for the vid!

      Glad it helped! The H-Tex leatherette is nicer/softer than the old Hyundai leather seats (such s your Genesis Coupe or my old Elantra GT) but not as soft as the Leather or Nappa Leather found in the upper trims.

    Nice review. Thx. I’m about to purchase a 2023 Santa Fe. Deciding between a Limited and a Calligraphy. Doesn’t seem much difference. I noted 19”vs20” wheels, body coloured side panel on Cali and melange?vs suede headliners. Anything else I missed?
    Also is the tow package included in Ltd or Cali trims? Thanks.
    Which would you recommend ?

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  2 года назад +2

      The main additions on the Calligraphy are the dark chrome grille, Nappa leather (vs standard leather), heads up display, Eco-Suede (vs Melange ) headliner, interior ambient lighting, and painted body trim vs black. There are a few other smaller interior bits like perforated steering wheel and quilted door panels but are relatively small differences. Both will have the optional port installed or dealer installed tow hitch available for up to 3,500 lbs towing capacity. It is a tough one because on one hand it's "only" $2,000 more but I haven't sat in a Santa Fe Calligraphy yet so hard to compare fairly. If the leather was higher quality and you wanted some of the additional features then I would say it would be worth it. It is worth noting that the Limited is available with a Gray leather option that is not available on the Calligraphy.

      Feature wise cost comparison

    • @CarsMadeSimple
      @CarsMadeSimple  Год назад

      @@vishalchandla It's hard to compare the Explorer and the Santa Fe because they are in slightly different classes. The Explorer is more in line with the Palisade due to being a three row vehicle. The Explorer's base engine is a little more powerful than the Santa Fe 2.5T although not by much. As for driving, this would be similar because the Explorer is RWD based and the Santa Fe is FWD based although both come in AWD as well. Given these facts, you will only be able to get an fairly basic XLT Explorer for the same price as the Calligraphy Santa Fe.

    • @mark8684
      @mark8684 Год назад

      You are comparing “apples” to “oranges”. The Explorer is much larger, has 3 rows of seats, is rear wheel drive. If you are planning on towing a trailer, the Explorer is the way to go, if not then it really depends on the size of your family and your budget.
