I think what you describe as cardboard taste is really a brand’s unique level of coconut husk, as related to the age of the coconuts that are juiced. I agree that Zico is excellent. It is not super sweet and is pure - super refreshing and delicious when chilled. I went through a Harmless kick for awhile, which killed my bank account. Luckily, I came to find it a bit too sweet and heavy. I think Harmless comes from a very particular coconut region and species, which is why the color is often deep pink. I avoid the other brands as they are not pure juice like Zico and Harmless.

To be honest it’s so strange to me to know that you guys think that coconut water is not supposed to be sweet and supposed to be pink. where I am from coconut water is as sweet as sugar and as clear as water. I am pretty sure all West Indian coconut are sweet and clear but everything in the US is different anyway.
I LOVE that you said that! That is very encouraging to me and I appreciate it. I need to figure something out, or maybe something will just "happen" and I will start reaching more people. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment; it really made my day!
If the coconut water taste less sweet that mean they pick it very young, when you cut very young coconut the meat will be like jello. If the meat more thick and soft easy to chew, the coconut water will taste more sweet. Again so many varieties of coconut, the best one for me is perform coconut/sweet coconut
Hey, thank you so much for this comment! I love it when people leave helpful information like that here for me and others to read. I really appreciate it and hope you'll check out more videos!
A friend had recommended coconut water which is why l came here. I am inclined to pass on the most costly, as well as those in plastic bottles. I think I'll check out #2 Zico and #3 Vita in the carton style packaging. Thanks!
You're fun! Good to hear from someone else out there who likes to try new things. Thanks for comment and let me know about the others you tried if you have time!
I have had all of those and Harmless has been my favorite hands down. Not sure of the cardboard reference here and if you have ever chewed on a piece of cardboard. I can say with confidence it doesnt have any "cardboard" taste whatsoever. Vita was my favorite but when I found out it had a "C" rating on my fooducate app...i looked elsewhere. I found Harmless and was blown away by it's natural sweetness and flavor. It's the healthiest and the best IMO. It is expensive which is why I by it at Costco only. It knocks the price down to about $2 a bottle.
Unfortunately ... I have chewed on cardboard. We were so poor when I was growing up that we were always doing things with cardboard... eating it, burning it... I had shoes made out of cardboard! It was rough. Anyway, I stand by my comments at the time and that really was the first time I had ever consumed coconut water like that. I need to do a follow up video about how I liked Harmless more and more over the next few days. No doubt it's the most impressive as far as being "clean." Ultimately I am doing a keto thing and coconut water has too many carbs to fit in with that right now. As far as ingredients, I do research that kind of thing, so I appreciate the tip about the fooducate app... I will look into that. Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it and let's keep looking out for clean food! Maybe one day we won't have to work to find it!
I buy from Costco and it is 66 cents for 14oz bottles. They have a box of 6 bottles for 4 bucks. it's insanely cheap, and my favorite coconut water period.
Because as a child I was so poor that we had to eat cardboard. I had shoes made of cardboard! My first girlfriend... sadly... was made of cardboard. Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it.
I don't have plans for one, but it was a comment from a viewer that got me to do the coconut water video. I will look into it and send you a comment if I make one about coconut milk. Thanks for the idea and the comment Kritika and congratulations on the little one!

@@goodfortune5480 I agree 100%. Gatorade is not a healthy product at all in my opinion. Plus coconut works better for me if I am dehydrated for some reason. Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it.
The Goya have added sugar. That's what u have to look for. The next thing is how fully ripe is the coconut before it becomes " dry coconut" . next is different types of soil, fortifier climate etc plays a big part in the taste. P.s. coconut with soft pulp r the best.
I planted my own coconut in South America. So I know about it. Presently there is a hybrid that produces just water. The palm trees r better by ocean side due to salty condition. ( I've climbed a lot of coconut trees in my younger days lol).
I need to make a part two of this and now that we are getting a Wegmans here in North Carolina that will be an option if I do get around to it. Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it!
Hi, Me and My Autistic Daughter love to drink HARMLESS HARVEST COCONUT WATER. We both love the taste, it's natural and it is good for you. Enjoy to your hearts delight....👍👍👍
I wish someone would compare mojo along with these brands. Mojo is the only one I have found that I like but I haven't tried these other brands. I would have to order them off of Amazon. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I liked this review but I’ve never eaten cardboard. It defiantly hard for me to understand what you mean by that. But in all I enjoyed the video while drinking #1

It's also funny to me that I know very little about coconut water but this is one of my most viewed videos; I need to make a "part 2"! Thank you for taking the time to comment Dawn, I really appreciate it!
Harmless Harvest is good but kind of sugary. Vitacoco takes literally like poison to me. I like zico but they're not longer making it. Iberia is common in Hispanic food stores but is pretty sugary. You'll also find Goya there. It's an awesome drink when you're doing a diet, so you keep your electrolytes.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I may try that new product "LIQUID I.V." for the same reason. I don't know much about it, but they are making some outrageous claims! Thanks again; I really appreciate it!
I drink Zola coconut water. I would prefer HH if I'm being honest, but it's $10 for a liter where I live. Zola is half that price, 100% all natural, and is just short of being as good.

I recommend the C2O brand after trying many of the brands you've shown, plus many that you haven't. In my area, C2O is about $2 for a 16 oz can. It's not too sweet and has no cardboard aftertaste. It's also 100% coconut water, no additional ingredients.

Since it is being used for hydration the BEST coconut water is the cheapest one you can get that has only one ingredient - Coconut water. I fell in love with coconut water this month when I was sick 😷 for a solid two weeks with COVID-19! High fevers daily, maximum fever was 40 °C (104 °F) 🥵
So sorry to hear you got sick Pat! I have some friends who have it right now and they are having a rough time too. I agree from the stand point that I don't drink it regularly because it has too many carbs and I am on a low carb diet, but when I got a stomach bug a while back, thanks to what I had leaned making this video, I knew the best we to hydrate and I went to the store and bought the cheapest "good" brand I could find! The reason the most natural one taste the worst is because while it may be natural it is NOT Fresh the preservatives in the others keeps the water closer to its fresh taste and the pink color is simply oxidation typical fresh natural coconut water is consumed on the spot nothing beats the absolute fully fresh natural water straight from the coconut interms of the combination healthiness and flavor

@@LucasworldTV Hey I just checked out your channel! Can't wait to watch more of your content later! Looks like fun stuff!
Subbed with both my channels. You guys are great and thank you for your service. I appreciate that!
I like harmless because it's pink and pretty
That's as good a reason as any. There's no doubt it is the "coolest."
Enjoyed your review, informative! Thanks for sharing
Jo man your video is surprisingly good for how big your chalnel is
I LOVE that you said that!
I'm drinking Goya coconut water right now as I watch this and it taste delicious.
I prefer coconut water Zico because
No added sugar .Thank you for the great video
Thank you for the comment Marie and please consider subscribing if you have not already!
A friend had recommended coconut water which is why l came here. I am inclined to pass on the most costly, as well as those in plastic bottles. I think I'll check out #2 Zico and #3 Vita in the carton style packaging. Thanks!
Harmless and Vita Coco are the best!
Amen Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
I use Harmless or Zico.
I love vita coco , I just bought 3 different brands at Marshall’s can’t wait to try them
You're fun! Good to hear from someone else out there who likes to try new things. Thanks for comment and let me know about the others you tried if you have time!
So which one is the best??
Depends... I really think it was Zico or Vita, but the people who really know this stuff say Harmless all the way.
Goya
Harmless Harvest is the best coconut water I've ever tasted. Second would be Trader Joe's. It's very similar to Harmless, only not quite as sweet.
@@n8likesmath crazy deal...my costco int that cheap. Hell you cant get regular water for that cheap
@@n8likesmath I saw it there the other day! That is a great deal. Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it!
@@n8likesmath Not anymore. california 6 bottles for 13 bucks now.
Good job thank you
I like Coconut Water because of the Taste but however I hate it at the same time because there are coconut pieces in the drink
how do you now how crdbourd taste like
Because as a child I was so poor that we had to eat cardboard. I had shoes made of cardboard! My first girlfriend... sadly... was made of cardboard. Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it.
Thanks . I m pregnant and looking for healthy coconut water thnx for making this video. Any video on coconut milk from you?
I don't have plans for one, but it was a comment from a viewer that got me to do the coconut water video. I will look into it and send you a comment if I make one about coconut milk. Thanks for the idea and the comment Kritika and congratulations on the little one!
Thanks for replying and wishing . Have a great life ahead 👍
You gotta try Naked's brand! The most natural and refreshing tasting coconut water from a brand I've had!
Also the most expensive lmao
I really do need to do a follow up to this video. There are so many brands, I need to do more comparisons. Thank you for taking the time to comment; I really appreciate it!
I actually searched for this or something similar along same concepts. This wasn't a random video RUclips recommended, just saying
Thanks for the information! I really appreciate you taking the time to tell me.
@@KeithTube I like coconut water for the electrolytes vs. Gatorade. I think Gatorade has too much sugar and added crap
@@goodfortune5480 I agree 100%. Gatorade is not a healthy product at all in my opinion. Plus coconut works better for me if I am dehydrated for some reason. Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it.
We drink water straight from the coconut
I had the caned Goya coconut water I agree with you too sweet
You should try 100 Coconut water. The best I have ever tasted. Hands Down!
Great Video - Have a wonderful Holiday!!!
Thank you! Hope you're Holiday is going great as well!
The Goya have added sugar. That's what u have to look for. The next thing is how fully ripe is the coconut before it becomes " dry coconut" . next is different types of soil, fortifier climate etc plays a big part in the taste. P.s. coconut with soft pulp r the best.
Thanks for the comment Dusty! Which one is your favorite? Seems like most people who are really into this stuff prefer Harmless... just wondering!
I planted my own coconut in South America. So I know about it. Presently there is a hybrid that produces just water. The palm trees r better by ocean side due to salty condition. ( I've climbed a lot of coconut trees in my younger days lol).
For me
ZICO #1
and C20 which you did not test #2
Vita Coco Pressed #3
Vita Coco is by far the best of all I have tried so far. It is the #1 brand I believe, and deservedly so IMO.
What is your opinion on C2O Coconut Water?
@@Rude_Boi It's decent
@@azharsattar7653 Vita Coco is better in your opinion? I never tried that one.
Thank you!!
You should try the Wegmans brand coconut water. To me it tastes the cleanest and purest.
I need to make a part two of this and now that we are getting a Wegmans here in North Carolina that will be an option if I do get around to it. Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it!
Facts , that’s the purest I’ve tasted so far
Hi, Me and My Autistic Daughter love to drink HARMLESS HARVEST COCONUT WATER. We both love the taste, it's natural and it is good for you. Enjoy to your hearts delight....👍👍👍
Goya is the best tasting!
Thank you for your opinion Hector!
I wish someone would compare mojo along with these brands. Mojo is the only one I have found that I like but I haven't tried these other brands. I would have to order them off of Amazon. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Harmless is the real deal vita adds sugar to there water and harmless doesn’t add anything but coconuts 🥥 water and taste great
I liked this review but I’ve never eaten cardboard. It defiantly hard for me to understand what you mean by that. But in all I enjoyed the video while drinking #1
Is cardboard a certain fruit flavors. I’d like too swee if we have this. #1 Is sweet I agree
I'm just curious as to how you know what cardboard tastes like. 😄
Everyone taste buds are different. IIm drinking vita coco Water now. I don't taste pineapple at all. Goes show yes are taste buds are different.
We are all so much alike and so different at the same time! I appreciate you telling how it tastes different to you.
Zico brand taste like mushroom water😳
Mmmmm.... mushroom water... Thanks for the comment! I really appreciate it.
I'm drinking zinco now!
I drink Zola coconut water. I would prefer HH if I'm being honest, but it's $10 for a liter where I live. Zola is half that price, 100% all natural, and is just short of being as good.
Has anyone tried the trader joe brand? Its delicious! 🌰
I believe there are enough brands out there that I could do a second video. That may becoming in the future. Glad you like the Trader Joe's brand; they have so much good stuff. I have reviewed a lot of their products. And thanks for the comment!
@@KeithTube you are welcome! 🌸
Well done video
Thank you so much! You don't know how much that means to me! Glad you liked it and I hope you like future (and past) videos as well. Thanks again!
I reviewed 28 different coconut waters in one go, I wish I had Thirsty Buddha on my video. OKF shouldn’t even be on your taste video it’s not coconut water at all. I agree with you with picking Zico, it’s the closest tasting coconut water to the real coconut.
the first few seconds, i really thought he does look like matt damon.
am i the only person? :P
i mean the fatter version.
@@KoreanAir001 That made me laugh very loudly! I choose to take it as a complement and I agree... I look a little like Matt Damon... a much, much fatter version of Matt Damon! Thank you so much for the comment (and for making me laugh). I really appreciate you taking the time.
@@KeithTube haha :D anyway it was a nice video keep up the great work!
@@KeithTube btw i didnt mean you are fat , just compared to matt damon XD
@@KoreanAir001 No problem. You are correct, compared to Matt Damon, but I am also fat compared to most humans. Notice I don't use a lot of full body shots in my videos. Anyway, no offense taken AT ALL! I enjoy it when anyone comments and I appreciate you taking the time.
Vita Coco is the best!
I recommend the C2O brand after trying many of the brands you've shown, plus many that you haven't. In my area, C2O is about $2 for a 16 oz can. It's not too sweet and has no cardboard aftertaste. It's also 100% coconut water, no additional ingredients.
I need to do a second test with other brands; there are so many out there! Maybe even try some straight from the coconut. Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it!
C20 tastes like cardboard to me
C2O PURE is my favorite
Im drinking the OKF Coconut drink COCO, its my fav with the chewy jelly I love it! I drink one a day lol somehow idk how it got me off of energy drinks and soda, I can drink this and feel happy even though theres no caffeine although there is sugar lol
It's gotta be better for you than energy drinks and soda. I try not to drink soft drinks and I am literally scared to drink energy drinks; they make me feel funny! Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it and I hope you'll subscribe and check out my other videos!
@@KeithTube yeah a lot of people I know especially my mom can't have any type of caffeine and if they drank an energy drink it would probably have a heart attack, yeah for some reason it makes me feel hydrated and better and I looked up drinking the less sugary ones but basically coconut water is good for all kinds of things for health benefits so I'm happy that I am addicted to drinking them and it keeps me away from the bad drinks honestly it actually gives me energy, you're welcome I really wanted to see a video like this straightforward and I finally today seen the Buddha coconut water drink today in Big Lots LOL I was like oh my gosh I can't believe it because I have never seen it before and I was able to find my coconut drinks I normally drink for way cheaper than I get it at 7-Eleven, I will def subscribe right now and check some more videos out 😁✌

Harmless hands down!!!!!
Thanks for commenting!
I drink at least 64 oz. Harmless daily...im adficted.......perhaps.
@@coleyounger3701 Wow! That's a lot of coconuts!
@@KeithTube ....yup...32.oz in the morning/32.oz before bed🙂

Try Luckys Market brand coconut water. I only found it at Rouses market. Literally the only ingredient is 100% coconut water. Great taste and for only $7 for a case of 24 - 17.5oz you can’t beat it.
I am thinking about making another video. There are so many other brands out there... if I do I will be sure to include Lucky's. Thanks for the tip and the comment! I really appreciate it.
KeithTube Anytime Keith. Great video and keep up the good work Sir.
@@jeremylatil6022 thanks again. Words of encouragement truly appreciated!
Vida coco is the best!
Goya
I like it
You missed the best brand Harvest.
There are so many brands I need to do a "Part 2"! Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it!
How the hell can organic coconut water be pink???!
I thought the same thing after I saw it! According to the company it can turn pink as it interacts with other elements, such as light. I should get some out of a coconut and see if it turns pink after a while! Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it!
@@KeithTube thanks for the video. Good content 👍
I like the vita coco and harmless coconut water
goya coconut water is fyaaaaa!!!
I did not like it either, but I am not really a coconut water drinker. Thanks for your comment! I really appreciate it.
It's too sweet for me
It's the best coconut water out there It's like real coconut from the tree
This boy forgot el Mexicano the best one
I am thinking doing a part 2 because there are so many brands I missed! Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it!
Yea you should make a second video
u thought the real one taste like cardboard haha. Harmless is the only one that tastes like I'm drinking a coconut
I guess the real stuff tastes like cardboard then! I must not be a coconut water person. I hear the same thing over and over; Harmless is the best, so I'm sure you are right. Thank you for the comment; I really appreciate it!
SWEET CARDBOARD JUICE 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 FUCK THAT WAS FUNNY
Thanks Joe! You made my day. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
When you're using it as medicine and not drinking it for pleasure cheaper wins every time for me!
Thanks for your comment Pat; I really appreciate it and I'm glad you are better!
Jajaja bebida de coco is a drink which is why it’s so sweet because it’s not water 😂💕
Thank you for letting me know! That does make a huge difference.
👌
Thanks Misty! I really appreciate it!
Another great review. Will have to incorporate coconut water into my diet. I’m sure it will get things moving along. 💩 👍
You always keep things moving brother!
It was
#2 that was the most natural
Check the ph balance vita is around 4.something
Bro your wrong not all coconut water (from other companies) taste anything alike …most Caribbean’s or coconut water fans can DEFINITELY taste the difference between real and false coconut water ! Let the people know the truth white bai
I don't remember saying they all taste the same... I think I talked a lot about how different they all taste. Also the great people from countries where coconuts grow talked a lot in the comments about which ones taste the closest to the real thing, and how different the real thing can taste. Also, I know nothing about coconut water and don't drink it. Funny how this is one of my biggest videos and it's about something I don't drink and know very little about. Thanks for the comment and I will always do my best to be a good "white bai" and tell the truth. I promise!
"Sweer cardboard juice"😂😂😂❤
I just puncture my coconut with a metal straw and sip
Now THAT is the way to go! Anyone with access to the real thing in not going to want ANY of these! Thanks for the comment; I really appreciate it!
most of those have added ingredients the only ingredient should be coconut water not added sugars & acids
I think the Harmless is the only one in this bunch that didn't have anything added. There are so many to choose from I could do several more videos like this! Thanks for the comment!
Taste test some Queso Fresco different companies like mexicano, don francisco, panela, etc. 😁
Sounds good! I just wrote that down on my "cheese to do list", seriously. I really appreciate suggestions like that. Thank you so much for taking the time!
Vita is the best to me UNTIL kirkland came out with their own version same packaging but the clearly use different coconuts than vita lol costco's kirkland made vita number 2 for me at this point
You should buy a young coconut. They’re about $3 at places such as Walmart and Lidl. It’s fun. There’s tons of juice. It can be comparable to harmless harvest.
I was thinking the same thing! We used to do that sometimes when I was a kid and it was so much fun. I wonder why more people don't do that... convenience, I guess. Thanks for reminding me of some cool childhood memories. Maybe I'll even make a video about it!
