    Tania-Thanks for being true to Frankie's song and teaching us correctly. You are the only u-tube version I have seen that puts in the pause(D) after chorus, as Frankie himself does.

    Beautiful playing. Is there instruction on how to read your tabs somewhere?

    • @TaniaElizabethMusic
      @TaniaElizabethMusic  3 года назад

      There aren't any instructions... but the letter symbolizes the string (GDAE) and then the numbers are just the fingers. The open string is indicated by the corresponding letter - A - for example. Pointer finger is 1, middle finger is 2, ring finger is 3, pinkie is 4. If a string change happens, the string will be indicated within parenthesis to indicate that the lettered note itself is not played (A). # means that the note is raised a semitone - ex: (A)#3 is a D sharp on the A string. Hope that helps!

      @@TaniaElizabethMusicThank you. Confusing things were brackets, #. Thanks for explaining that. What about some numbers being close together and the . and , in between. Also where you have
      D, 3 and underneath you have (G) 3 2 does that mean two strings? That is open D and G3 together
      and then the next note is D3 and G2 together.

      @@debbu3167 it’s been a long time since I made this... The commas are being used like you would in a sentence, to take a breath so to speak. The period is the same in that it is saying that is the end of that part. The 4! With the little E underneath is indicating that both the 4th finger on A and open E would be played with a kind of exclamation in your up bow. Same with the D 3 with the little (G)3 2 underneath. Double stops, but optional.
      The letters close together are hinting at the rhythm.
